Jonti Roos, the Attention Seeking Whore?

March 12, 2014 at 8:45 AM

What. The. Hell. Is. This?

An obvious attention whore. How disrespectful and insensitive could she be to reveal this piece of information on A Current Affair? Why not just take this story to the authorities or MAS and let them handle it? This should have been private and investigated on, not revealed on TV on this piece of trash show and upset everyone, including his family. Fariq may have changed over the years. This news was 3 years ago. He was young and he made a mistake. We all made mistakes when we were young. So if this girl was genuine about sharing this piece of information, she wouldn’t have contacted this sleazy TV show. She obviously wanted attention and took opportunity from this tragic situation.

I would be ashamed if I was her friend.

Anyways, I don’t have any right to make any judgment on Fariq as I didn’t know him personally. What he wanted to do with his life, that was his own thing. I think the big mistake he did was befriending this slut. Show some respect to the families, woman. They’re still very upset and sad and depressed. This piece of information is not helping anyway, and they need to focus on finding the plane first, not about this. Some people say it can compromise the safety of the passengers and open up the possibilities to hijackers… well, I don’t think the pilots would invite guys into the cockpit? As guys are common hijackers.

MH370, where on earth are you?
And we are getting very tired of hearing nothing, false leads and speculations.

EDIT// Mar 23rd

So what do you have to say about this?

24 Hours and Malaysia Airlines MH370 is Still Missing

March 9, 2014 at 8:47 AM

MH370, where are you?
Please come back 🙁

It has been 24 hours and there’s still no news about the missing but lots of rumors and speculations. I feel sorry for the families as they’re waiting and waiting for news but so far there has been none.  But then I found this graphic:

It’s funny but it’s sad on how true it is. It shows the type of people Malaysians are when there are news or tragedy that happened. Like Harith Iskander in lawak Ke Der?, he mentioned that Malaysians love to play detective like in CSI. They like to spread rumors and speculate and make up story.

What I don’t like is that ‘Seniman’ part, which is an actual tweet from Zed Zaidi. I seriously don’t know wtf is wrong with that guy? Why does he like to gain bad publicity for himself and piss people off? Who does he think he is? He’s an embarrassment to Malaysian and artists. That was very insensitive. Even a politician also was being insensitive about this whole thing.

Please come back, MH370.

Malaysia Airlines MH370 Is Missing?!?!

March 8, 2014 at 11:16 AM

WHAT??

It’s missing??

Forgive me. I’m still trying to accept the fact that a MAS plane has gone missing. Malaysia Airlines MH370 left KLIA this morning en route to China but it went missing about 1-2 hours into the journey. It just disappeared off the radar without a single trace. It’s such a shocking news to wake up to. So basically the whole world is in shock right now, confused, baffled as to how it could have just disappeared like that. My facebook feed is flooded with wishes and worries and pictures and things like that. It’s sad really.

When you see pictures of distressed family members crying, mother who just sent his son only to come back shortly after not knowing wtf just happened, oh God, it just breaks my heart. People are praying on twitter and fb and websites so I hope the plane will be found soon. But of course, there will be time when you can’t help but speculate things, spread rumors (which we shouldn’t do) but doesn’t it seem so weird that.. right after our latest and current ‘event’ (I don’t want to write about anything political but you get my drift) that this happen? The timing is just perfect.

I don’t want to speculate much. I’m praying they will be found soon, and return safely to their loved one. The could have made emergency landing somewhere. Please find them 🙁 Those poor passengers.

New Online Fashion Shop – Street Neko

December 5, 2011 at 2:41 PM

There’s a new online fashion shop in town!

This is a side project of my company, Creative Neko Studio.

Street Neko (http://www.street-neko.com) will focus on clothing, and might add any interesting and kawaii things in the future. It’s selling trendy clothes that you see mainly from Japan and Korea. I’m starting out small but I will expand soon. It took me a week+ to build this online store because I kept changing the cart system. I didn’t find the ones that I like, and ones that I like is in chinese language. This plan for this shop has been thought of for half a year already but just never had the chance to really execute it. I wanted to start with a simple blogshop only but yeah, decided to go more organized.

Please spread the word around & support Street Neko!

I don’t know how long this website can last, or this business, but I know I’m trying my very best right now. So if you love trendy Korean and Japanese fashion trend & kawaii things, do visit the website!

Now that’s done, I need to focus on other things now. I’ve been too busy for my own good. Bleh.

To KL & Back Again

October 4, 2011 at 4:08 AM

I went to KL yesterday.

It was a just a day trip but a damn tiring one. We planned to leave at 8 am but I had a very tiring Saturday so I ended up sleeping in the entire evening and woke up at 10 pm. I actually went to Tesco to shop at 11 pm and got home at almost 1 am. Haha.

We reached KL at almost 12 pm, then straight away went to bakery shops and bought lots of stuff – chocolates, cake mix, drinks etc. After having fun like a kid in a toy store, we went to Berjaya Times Square for lunch and reached there at almost 4 pm. Wow, I haven’t been there in ages because majority of things have changed especially the food court. It’s so much better now and the best thing is that it’s located on the lower ground floor instead of the lonely 10th floor. I had Japanese teriyaki chicken bento. Surprisingly they’re quite cheap. And you have to use a prepaid card to pay for the food.

It actually taste quite good too except I’ve had better chawanmushi before at Yoshinoya. I miss yoshinoya which is no longer available in Malaysia 🙁 Their chawanmushi was damn good – they had mushroom and crabs but then they toned it down but the price remained which upsets me. Now they’re completely gone. Blah. This chawanmushi had only 4 small pieces of crab sticks, that’s it. Bit disappointed.

Anyways, then I went to ‘Low Yat Plaza‘ and FINALLY bought myself the laptop table I’ve always wanted. I think this is like the 4th or 5th table. It has low quality built but what the heck. I found exactly the one I wanted after a long search. I wonder how come they don’t have any tables in my city until I have to go to KL to search for it. I hope this one will last longer than the ones I had.

I also bought a new modem router because my old one finally died, I think. It’s a Belkin and they said I have a lifetime warranty but I’m not gonna claim the warranty because it’s pretty outdated. Now I have a better modem router (D-Link) and it’s cheaper than Belkin. It’s working fine now and I finally can use my streamyx again. Even though I had streamyx so much because it’s so slow, at least it doesn’t have limited bandwidth. Unlike my P1 Wimax, even though the speed is good, but I only have 30Gb bandwidth a month. I wanna play second life again.

So we finally left KL at 6.15pm and got stuck in traffic jam for a bit. That’s one thing I don’t miss about KL – the massive traffic jam. But luckily after a while I accidentally found the highway back to Ipoh so we didn’t get delayed and left for Ipoh. However my uncle thought we’d visit a relative – we got lost and spent over an hour to search for the place only to find out they were not at home. :\ I was already too tired and sleepy and I had to stop at 2 different rest stops to take a quick nap. Plus it was drizzling so it was like a perfect weather to sleep.

Well I finally reached my home at almost 12 am. Had to speed a bit otherwise I’d fall asleep in the car. I was really sleepy and tired and my right knee was hurting like hell. Thank God there was no scary experiences on the highway like the last time except a couple of minor ones in Kl where I almost drove my car to hit other car. My mistake.

I spent the entire day today sleeping wtf. I had to wake up at night to go to class but now it’s 4 am and I’m wide awake. Gah. Oh well.
