Filesonic & Fileserve ‘Committed Suicide’ By Disabling Filesharing. RIP.

I guess we all saw this coming.
Majority of file sharing sites, including one of the most popular ones which are filesonic & fileserve finally ‘committed suicide‘ in fear of the megaupload case.
Basically filesonic has disabled filesharing function, which is the main function of the whole site. Majority of the users used it for filesharing, doesn’t matter for piracy or legal use. I was hoping this site would stay alive but unfortunately they were chickens. It’s the site I paid monthly to. Yes I had the premium account. Glad I found out before my paypal automatically renews the payment on the same day so I had the chance to cancel. Oh well, it was nice knowing you filesonic. Thank you for all the downloads.
Fileserve also disabled its filesharing function. I heard some others committed suicide too, like one site banned paid users or something.. technically all these sites committed mass suicide. At least, unlike megaupload, they didn’t disable personal upload so if you had uploaded the files, you could still retrieve them and still use them for personal use. I don’t know who would.
It sucks majorly because I used these sites a lot because download from file sharing sites utilizes my connection speed to the maximum . Looks like I have to find an alternative now. But I heard megaupload is coming back. However, anonymous are still taking down websites.. hope they’ll keep going until the retards would come to their senses and stop wanting to censor internet…
…. wishful thinking.

New Online Fashion Shop – Street Neko

There’s a new online fashion shop in town!
This is a side project of my company, Creative Neko Studio.
Street Neko (http://www.street-neko.com) will focus on clothing, and might add any interesting and kawaii things in the future. It’s selling trendy clothes that you see mainly from Japan and Korea. I’m starting out small but I will expand soon. It took me a week+ to build this online store because I kept changing the cart system. I didn’t find the ones that I like, and ones that I like is in chinese language. This plan for this shop has been thought of for half a year already but just never had the chance to really execute it. I wanted to start with a simple blogshop only but yeah, decided to go more organized.

Now that’s done, I need to focus on other things now. I’ve been too busy for my own good. Bleh.
New Community for Vampire Diaries Fans
1Well, after weeks of frustrations, delays and sleepless nights, finally it’s ready for beta testing. A new community for Vampire Diaries‘ fans! Well it’s still very new, launched yesterday, so still needs a lot of fixing to do.. bugs to fix, stuff to add.. but I’m taking a break from that for a few days so I can concentrate on doing a new community for Glee next. It’s the 2 shows I love the most right now, and the only 2 shows worth spending time on. Since tomorrow season 2 of Glee will premiere in the US, I’m all excited! I hope I can launch the Glee community by this week.. then by next week I’ll start working on the bugs and adding more stuff for both sites.. as well as advertising them both so people would actually know its existence. You have no idea how stressful it is to start with new stuff like content management systems plus php compatibility issues that has been my biggest struggle for the past few weeks. But now I’m getting used to it so it’s all good.. these 2 communities will be like my ‘test sites’ so I could understand more on CMS and crap for hopefully a bigger project in the future. Hey, at least I’m not wasting time doing nothing.
I was supposed to go to the dermatologist appointment yesterday but I’ve been way too busy, and also broke, so I couldn’t.. plus my face is infested with spots, blemishes and acnes from all the stress and sleepless nights. I’m hoping this Friday I can go back to PJ and buy my acne pills if mom let me because those pills are the only effective pills for acne treatment. Blah, months of wasted money and treatments only to get my face ruined again within a couple of weeks of stress 
I have lots of blogs coming up today and tomorrow but right now I gotta get busy finishing up my other project. So if you’re a fan, do join!

I wanted to blog today but unfortunately my hosting people hosted a website called ‘drawmuhammadday.com‘, which is a very sensitive issue to Muslims, thus that website had a DDOS attack and now my website is loading slow, my wordpress isn’t working well I guess because of the attack and the control panel is loading like snail.
Is this some sort of suicide? Hosting a website like that knowing that it’s a very sensitive issue?!

By the way, quick recommendation. In Malaysia we don’t have RV, but if you have an RV, you might want to look at this insurance plan thing for rv repair..might be useful?

I have post #GleeKL syndrome.
Whenever I hear the ‘Don’t Stop Believing‘ music on Star World Asia (the channel that airs Glee), I’d get up and prepare myself to dance… it’s infectious. It was so much fun that most of us want more, and are having the same post #GleeKL syndrome.
So, I’m currently trying to take my mind off the whole Glee thing because it’s driving me nuts. I’m still happy to be part of Malaysian ‘history’ as this is the first huge flash mob that is covered by a TV station. If you haven’t seen the Star World Asia’s promo on it that is shown on TV, here it is.
Anyways, I’ll be working on Sinfully Delicious (my food blog) tonight so that it won’t look abandoned anymore, and I could actually start posting. Seriously, I gotta stop abandoning my blogs because it’s such a waste financially -___-
