I was browsing youtube yesterday. You know that shitmyx (our stupid slow poke internet ISP streamyx) has decided to throttle youtube??? Not only they throttle torrent before, now youtube? I mean come on, YOUTUBE? I didn’t even know that. I mean it was still okay in terms of loading time until couple of weeks ago youtube has become SO SLOW. Like a 1 minute video would take 5 minute to load. But yesterday I tweaked my setting and now the speed has improved a bit. There are a few sites that I can’t load now.. could it be.. they’ve blocked some sites?! Because I used to be able to load.. now it says server not found, but when I use a proxy, I could load it. FUCK SHITMYX. It has already a piece of shit, and they dare to be even more stinking piece of cow dung by implementing this? What the hell is ‘unlimited broadband’ supposed to mean then?

ANYWAYS.

I have not been into JPOP for a long time. Yesterday I stumbled upon Arashi’s new single, “Troublemaker”.. saw their interview and performance in music station and instantly fell in love with the song! It’s so friggin catchy and fun.. and it has fun dance routine too.. of course, Arashi members haven’t aged a bit. Damn Japanese. So I watched their PV (music video) and I so love it! It has cute stop motion animation at the beginning which is something I so wanna do if I have a chance to make a video.. ! I thought it’s very creative. It has cute stop motion throughout the video.. Ahh Nino.. so friggin cute. I love how he pushes Ohno a lot in this.. Ohmiya SK :D Here’s the PV.. it’s so cute!

Okay, almost 10 am now.. gonna finish my breakfast and go to the gym.. I have to meet my trainer at 11 am.. gotta use up my remaining 2 free training session before it expires >.< They never told me about the expiration! Oh yeah, have you heard maxoderm? Okay I’m not gonna fill this post with super-excited-omgz-Edward-Jacob-so-hawtz!!11-teenybopper post. We’ve seen too many of those. I’m just gonna get real about why I’m excited about New Moon.

I’ve never posted this in my blog, only on my facebook, but lo and behold… I present you, my own Twilight spoof.

Haha if you were from my Media Studies class, you would have already seen that. Our assignment was to localize a movie scene and me, being a Twifan suggested that our group to spoof/localize Twilight. Especially since the main actor really fit to play Edward! Haha. It was a fun shoot. It may look dumb to you, but that was the point. Bloopers in my facebook. We wanted it to look silly.

Since then, we always make fun of the main guy… with his now trademark sentence – “I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooo shining!”

And of course, for my graduation showcase, for my theme, I chose Twilight ;)

I still remember last year, around this time, my friends and I went for a camp at the outskirt of Melaka. After that, Claudia invited me to watch Twilight but I was way too tired to go, and could barely walk due to muscle cramps so I decided to pass. Little did I know that couple of months later, when the movie was out on DVD and I decided to download it that I’d instantly become obsessed with it.

So what’s so special about the upcoming New Moon? Beside the obvious reasons that Edward is oh-so-hot and suddenly Jacob gained super hot masculinity with that super hot bod (I mean, have you seen the trailer??? Jacob purposely took off his shirt..and somehow Edward would to later? Oh come on! Battle of body, anyone?)… I think the story is what captured me the first. I was always a fan of Robert Pattinson since Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire… but the story is more like my ‘fantasy’.. this forbidden love thing between human and vampire.. oh come, like you’ve never fantasized being with Lestat or Louis (Tom Cruise or Stuart Townsend & Brad Pit) from Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned and now in New Moon, a love triangle between Jacob, Bella and Edward…. tell me if you don’t feel somewhat an adrenaline rush about it. It’s always exciting to fantasize about having 2 hot guys (a vampire and a werewolf, haha…) fighting over you. Except I’m not that lucky.

That reminds me, I have yet to read the books — well, more like audio books that I downloaded. I’ve read like half of Twilight before I got extremely busy last semester, and the book is SO MUCH BETTER. However, I prefer watching the movie first before reading the books because then I can imagine what the characters look like as I read. I’ll finish reading listening to them after all the graduation stuff is over in December.

Another exciting part is DAKOTA FANNING. I mean seriously, Dakota? It feels as if it was only yesterday I watched her in The Cat in the Hat, I am Sam, Hide and Seek etc where she’s just this cute 10 year old who talks and act like a full grown adult. I remember watching her on Oprah and she knitted her something… I can’t remember if it was a sweater or a scarf. SERIOUSLY? A 10 year old who can knit?? Geez louise. It’s gonna be interesting to see her a bit grown up in this movie.

Oh and I so wish I can get that premiere tickets to watch this, even though it’s only a day earlier but it makes a special difference to be able to enjoy it first with just 29 other winners before the rest of Malaysia.

My two weeks vacation ends in a few hours. I thought I’d have another day because usually I don’t go on faculty briefing day. It’s pointless. All you do is just sit there and listen to boring speeches reminding you of things you’d hear over and over again every new semesters for the past 2 years. Unlike my old college, you don’t need to go to this briefing shit. You go once, then that’s it.

I’m having the worst spinning headache right now because my right eye is having a bad allergic reaction to dust probably, and I wouldn’t stop rubbing my eye so now it’s probably infected, and it’s swollen and it hurts. Gah. So tomorrow morning I’m driving back to KL. I have this stupid grad showcase meeting shit at 10am, wtfbbq. If not for that, I’d still be free tomorrow.. then I have to do stupid slides to promote our showcase, which means after meeting I’d have to stay on and go through the faculty briefing thing.

2 more weeks of fasting, then Eid! I can’t week. I can’t stand fasting while watching everyone else munching yummy stuff.. I can’t stand not drinking something. I can’t stand watching fast food ads on tv. However, 2 weeks of fasting has passed, and I don’t think I’ve lost and weight.. but maybe I’ve been gaining. Gah. Has anyone heard of testoripped? I don’t know.. there’s like countless number of diet pills out there claiming to really work.. and usually cost a bomb, but do they really work? I gave up hoping pills or diet craps would help losing weight. :( I’m not that strong anymore to resist food.

Well I’m going to enjoy my last few hours of freedom by……….. doing nothing. Oh! This morning I saw Cory & Stephanie’s wedding online.. I’m a fan of Cory (he’s famous in youtube). It was a lovely wedding! Some people were rude in the chat room though… and funny how some youtube celebs tried to entertain us while the newlyweds went out to take pics. Unfortunately my connection started to suck when the fun was about to begin.. they were gonna dance and all so I missed that. Hopefully it’ll be uploaded online. I think it’s interesting to broadcast wedding online.. I might do that.. if I become famous that is cuz if I’m not, who the hell would care to watch, right??

I cannot express how pissed I am now. Youtube has gone SHIT. Not only half of the total contents are only available for US people.. WMG’s muting videos with copyrighted songs in it is seriously pissing me off.. WTF. I was just watching Gypsy 83, after being all excited from seeing Kett Turton being this fucking hot Goth boy that I’d like to fuck .. seeing a hot boy on boy action yesterday, so tonight I wanted to watch it on Youtube only to find out part 5 and part 8 has been muted by stupid WMG. That’s just so retarded. It sucks even more that the movie is rare, so it’s really frustrating right now.

I’m gonna try and search dvd stores for the movie, because okay, apart from Kett being all hot Goth boy and minus the boy on boy action, it’s actually quite a good movie that can get you hooked once you start watching. I had a long presentation on Gothic subculture last Wednesday and this movie would’ve been a perfect example of a Gothic lifestyle.. bah. Oh well, if I can’t find the movie here, might as well import from Amazon.. whenever that is.

Anyways. Enough about that. I had an extremely long 2 weeks of my life, being all stressed out and rushing for deadlines and doing this and that. After this morning, I finally could take a breather and relax a bit. Tomorrow, back to stress and tension world. That’s life. For once, I actually didn’t have time to care about how emo I’ve been feeling. Surprising.

ROFLMAO. Where do I start….

I decided to download this movie after knowing that the movie is about killer condoms, despite all the bad reviews on how crap the movie is. It made me laugh because it was weird. ROFL.

First of all, it was weird because it was set in NEW YORK but everybody speaks German o.O;; Everybody.. I haven’t heard a single English in the movie except once or twice by the actors.. I mean, if it’s New York, shouldn’t we hear English at least once??? Anyways, it’s about this hotel called ‘Hotel Quickie’ that is a place for hookers to bring their clients in and do their stuff.

It starts with a few hookers and an innocent girl witnessing the condoms biting the ding dong -.- Okay so we don’t exactly see the ding dong but still… So Officer Macaroni (what a name, it makes me hungry, LMAO) decides to investigate the case. He went to the hotel and met a boy named ‘Billy’. He’s cute but what disturbs me is that Billy looks like Elijah Wood -.- Officer Macaroni is GAY. Rofl. So he was about to do it with Billy.. and his ding dong is 32 inches long! LMAO. You don’t see it but you see the shadow of it on Billy’s face. That was amusing. And yada yada yada, the condom bit his right nut off. At the hotel, he also met his old friend who is now a transvestite called ‘Babette’ (previous name is Bob, lmao). And Babette is deeply in love with Officer Macaroni but he doesn’t love ‘Babette’.

More and more condoms bit guys’ ding dongs until the condom decided to attack the public too.. it attacked a woman’s nose, and even President Dick’s ding dong. The condom has the teeth like piranha mind you. Then it turned out the condoms were made by Professor Smirnoff, forced by this lady named ‘Dr. Riffleson’ who is a doctor. And she’s a religious freak. She’s against gays and transvestite and that’s why she wanted to develop the killer condoms to teach these people a lesson. (She did it for God, she said). They also developed a special uber big monster condom for Officer Macaroni since his ding dong is 33 inches… lmao

You don’t see any nakedness in this movie though except for Billy’s ass. But the movie is lame XD If you need a laugh, watch this movie, ROFL.

PS: I’m now starting to play “Magician’s Quest Mysterious Times (US)/Enchanted Folk & The School of Wizardry (EU)” on my Nintendo DS. I heard it’s a sort of Harry Potter meets Animal Crossing which I love! Taking a break from Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side Plus.. cuz that game is SO FRIGGIN EVIL.

So, a few posts back, I wrote about TURBO: The movie starring Dave Lehre, the guy that is my inspiration when it comes to the filmmaking and editing world and last week I checked my myspace and I was surprised to see I got a message from him :) Apparently, he somehow saw my blog and my post about his movie so he was sending me a message letting me know and saying his thanks… awwww thanks Dave! :) You rock.

I still can’t wait to see TURBO: The movie.

I’d like to post another short movie starring Dave Lehre, directed by Michael and Daniel Carberry. Now, if you’re just a watching this, you’d be like WTF? Now if you’re a film student, or like to go in depth with the technical stuff, now this is a very good short film. I just love the cinematography. The angles are good, the lighting gives the mysterious, dark mood as we listen to the character hear his own conscience and struggles with his addiction with pills. Dave did a great job portraying an addict. Makes you feel you, too, is going crazy in a very claustrophobic room.

Bah to see young filmmakers do good films really depresses me. I’m pathetic.

Other than that, work has been very interesting. I saw them testing the robot costume for the movie. It’s still very private and confidential so I can’t leak any photos lol. Hmmm what else… well for the past one week, I’ve been going home very late. Last Friday my colleague was on tv, and yesterday they were in the newspaper… which would’ve included me had I wore the damn shirt.

Last Thursday Andre suddenly requested me to do production booklet for the pre production meeting.. so I was like rushing and stuff. There was A LOT to compile and type. And funny coincidence, we saw a singer on tv who has the EXACT hair that Andre has, so we’ve been calling him “Tomok” cuz that’s the artist’s name.. but since he, too, is my Japanese language buddy, so he prefers to be called “Tomogo”, the male version of the name ‘Tomoko’.

PC Fair started on FRIDAY! I went in the morning, lol. Was rushing and all. There was an offer for HDD for REALLY cheap (Rm299!) for 1 TB but only for the first 50, and how unfortunate that before that I went to the bank to withdraw money and fucking ATM machine ate my card! So I could have gotten the HD for extra 40 bucks for RM339 (still cheaper than other booths) but I decided that I don’t like the design. It’s quite light so when my cat goes crazy, they can easily bumps into the HD and it could easily slide off the table.

So I decided to get 2 x 500GB Maxtor OneTouch 4 HD at RM199 each (still in the first 50 people promotion)…so it’s RM398, which technically almost the same price as Western Digital’s 1TB My Book Home edition at RM399. However, after reading lots of comments about HD failing after a short while, I got scared. That’s why I decided to get 2×500Gb, so in case one fails, I have the other. I’ll wait until PC Fair in August. By then, the 2TB HD would probably become cheaper (PC Fair offer was RM888! O___O) ..I want the 4TB though lol. Still over RM1500+ , geez.

PC Fair opened at 11 am, and I arrived at 11.30 am, but it was already so friggin crowded that you can barely walk, gah. The biggest promotion is P1 W1max’s new modem promotion called “Wiggy”.. huge promotion on that. It’s like every inch you turn, a wiggy promoter will bug you about their new modem. To me, even though they promise 10mb connection, if there’s a fair usage policy, with only 10GB quota, fuck no man. I’m sticking with Screamyx…shitty as it is, at least it won’t throttle my bandwidth cuz it has no quota. The speed just…suck.

But I did get to eat Yoshinoya! :D Fucking cheap promotion, RM7.90 for a bowl of beef rice, a bowl of miso soup and small chawanmushi. But what the hell, they’ve turned stingy on chawanmushi! It’s only a couple of spooful now, it’s so little, and it only has like a piece of mushroom and that’s it! No crab no fish no nothing..! Wtf.

Anyways, on Saturday…I had pre-production meeting until 1 am…wahhh T____T It’s all cool though.

Anyways, I’m like procrastinating now when I have so much to do. lol. I should get back to work. I wanna go home and backup more stuff. At least my lappy is no longer running out of diskspace, yay!

I’ve been a fan of David Lehre for quite a while, ever since Myspace: the movie first came out. So few days ago Dave released a trailer of his upcoming movie and I can’t get over how cool the movie looks, how cool he edited the trailer to be and how extremely hot Dave is with the badass look. I’d do anything to *BEEP* Shamus (his character) based on his look in the trailer.

What I adore about Dave is that he’s an inspiration to me. He’s a self-made and self-thought filmmaker. He’s now living in LA, has won some contests (big money, big cars) and doing shows and in movies and talk shows. Many said he sold out, but then again, which filmmaker wannabe wouldn’t do that? It’s the only way to get noticed, and I respect Dave for wanting to be known and famous. I know how that feels like.

I celebrated EARTH HOUR last night.. it was fun being in the dark lol. I heard they’re having a party at Sunway and all. Wish I could join. So in the dark, I just played a dating game on my phone which I’m so addicted to, while sms’ing with H for an hour. You know, I noticed he has changed a lot, even after breaking up with his gf. It makes me happy that’s he’s not emo…for a reason.

After I could turn lights back on, GRINDHOUSE: DEATH PROOF movie was on.. omg I’ve been trying to find that movie for SO LONG ever since I watched GRINDHOUSE: PLANET TERROR. I finally found Planet Terror but couldn’t find Death Proof.. so I was happy cable tv showed it :D At first I thought Death Proof would be boring, compared to Planet Terror, cuz hey, zombie movie wins everything.. but it turns out better than expected.. so I like it. Not a zombie movie, but still good to watch.

I have been so bored this past couple of days, that I’ve started to get depressed, and started eating. Great.

I have been re-addicting myself to CHARMED season 8. :D God I miss that show.. love it to bits. However, one thing that has obviously changed was the theme song. I don’t remember Charmed having other theme tune than the one they always have – “How Soon Is Now?” by Love Spit Love. Hearing that song just makes me have flashbacks, bringing me back down to memory lane. I hate how you can listen to a song that you used to, then when you listen to it again, suddenly you can smell the past, feel like you’re in the past …exactly at the time you first listened to the music. It’s like a time machine or something. Anyways, here’s the new theme song if you haven’t heard of it:

After researching, I found out that by the time they released season 8 on DVD, the licensing for the original theme song has expired so they had to replace it with a new instrumental music. Well,I’ve grown to like this new theme tune and it fits really well with the series, had it been the original theme since season 1 but you know.. “How Soon is Now?” is CHARMED.. know what I mean? You hear that song and you know it’s Charmed.. has been so for years so suddenly to adjust to a new theme is awkward.. uhhh technically, the new theme is actually an instrumental of the original theme, only without singing.. still hot though.

I so want season 1 now.

Yesterday I went to Giant mall and saw LCD TV.. I want :( Then few days ago H was showing off that his name showed up as the lucky draw winner who won the 32in LCD TV… gah. Why can I never be that lucky? Like lucky winning a lottery or something — instant millionaire. However, mom and I had a good lunch yesterday. I’ll blog about it soon.

I have to go to college tomorrow morning before work because I think I forgot to fill up the subject registration form. There were so many papers and things on internship to remember before, that I had completely forgotten about subject registration form. I’m such an idiot. I hope I won’t get yelled at.

I feel like doing a movie review now, I have 15 minutes before I have to get ready for work so I’m gonna blog, again.. yeah sue me.

The movie I’m gonna blog about is Camp Nowhere! I downloaded this last week and it is one of my favorite movies when I was a kid.. okay, it’s a kids movie, about kids.. so it’s not meant to be taken seriously. And it involves summer camp! I love summer camp type of movie :D Okay, the plot is basic. 4 kids don’t wanna go to the summer camp their parents want them to go to, so they decided to get this guy named Dennis to help them rent a cabin so they could stay there for 2 months when their parents thought they’re going for a real summer camp. Dennis agreed because he’s wanted by this cop who keeps chasing him, and ‘Mud’, the main kid helped save his ass. But then the plan leaked out to their friends at school and now everyone wants to join them. How are they gonna keep it this ‘illegal’ summer camp a secret without letting everyone knows especially their parents?

When I was in middle school, I was into actors and stuff right.. so one of the guy, Andrew Keegan was one of the popular kid actors that I hated back then… I don’t know why. Now he’s okay to me though but back then I couldn’t stand him. Probably because he was so popular and in every Teen Beat magazines and I didn’t think he’s cute at all.

Dennis is played by Christopher Llyod, most well known as Doc Emmett Brown in Back to the Future.. and the main kid was played Jonathan Jackson! He’s soooooo cute and adorable :D He also have grown into this very hot and sexy guy. Last week I was looking up on his info and he actually has a band now called “Enation“… not bad at all. I love this one song that I heard. It’s called “FLINT”

I don’t know why, but the song just makes me feel… mellow… sad…emo.. touched..relax.. I don’t know.. there’s something about this song that I really love, and the music.. of course I absolutely love Jonathan’s voice. The video however look amateur-ish but at least you can oogle at JJ’s hotness :D He’s married and have kids however.. damn.

Back to the movie.. there’s nothing much to say. Like I said, it’s a kids movie.. as long as it’s entertaining, it’s fine by me. Not like they concentrate on FX or music or cinematography.. just a fun kids movie. That’s why I love kids movie from the 90s…not like all those pieces of crap they do now… Now like my last movie review, let’s play SPOT THAT FAMILIAR FACE!

There’s a trailer in youtube but it’s very low in quality so I won’t bother posting it.. Overall, Camp Nowhere is a fun kids movie! If you’re into summer camp movies, this movie is worth a look :D
