Have you guys watched “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES“?

You know my current addiction & obsession is the series GLEE. I’m not the kind who likes to watch a serious drama. Glee was the first drama after millennium that caught my interest. I was never into the popular series like Lost, Heroes, The O.C, Supernatural etc They bore me to death. The last series I was really into was ‘Charmed‘. Each of the series I used to love have some sort of special attraction – like Charmed has the lovely cast, interesting stories and added humor along with the magical stuff.. Glee had the humor, interesting story & cast and the songs… but never I thought  I’d be addicted to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.

I came to know about THE VAMPIRE DIARIES almost the same way as Glee. It was random. I was at the DVD store when I was buying Glee DVD and saw a DVD box for THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. The cover looked interesting and actually thought the cast looks hot so I wanted to buy it. However, at that time, the series hasn’t ended yet. It was still running in the US so the DVD was a bootleg copy of incomplete series. I didn’t buy it but thought I’d download the pilot episode first to see if it’s interesting. Sadly to say, just like Glee, it felt flat to me. The pilot didn’t keep me interested long enough to watch it. So I watched halfway and the file remained in the folder for quite a while. Then my friend mentioned that he’s also watching it and it’s interesting and I tried watching the pilot again… couldn’t finish watching it Just like Glee, I’ve tried a few times to watch the pilot episode but couldn’t keep myself still until the end.

Well until local channel 8TV was showing it a few months ago so I thought hey, this is a good chance! I don’t have to download and I’ll just keep watching it. So I finally watched the pilot episode. It was interesting but it’s just normal. I mean, it was not extraordinary. The cast was so-so. Seems like it’s a typical series about 2 vampire brothers and a girl. However they’re likable and good looking. I decided to give the 2nd episode a chance.

THE STORY

At first it’s a basic, cliche story. I thought it’d be something for teens. It’s basically about a girl named Elena Gilbert who lives in a town called Mystic Falls. She meets and falls in love with a super cute new student Stefan Salvatore who turns out to be a century old vampire. Then come Damon Salvatore, Stefan’s evil brother who has been gone for 15 years and was shocked to see Elena who is a lookalike of their past lover, Katherine Pierce back in 1864. As the story progress, more history about the vampires in Mystic Falls is revealed, and Elena finds out more shocking secrets of herself and her relation to Katherine.

I actually thought it’s just another vampire stories and gosh, it’s like a trend especially since it comes out after the success of Twilight but the series is actually based from a book of the same name that was written way before Twilight was written. The cast of the series are actually super gorgeous. Also the more the story progress, the better it gets. This series actually improves as it goes on and draws you in more and more. That’s how my addiction started! It’s very rare for a series that started off so-so actually progress to become extremely good! The characters became interesting… like Bonnie, Elena’s best friend turns out to be a witch. Jeremy, Elena’s brother was in love with Vicky who was turned into a vampire then killed by Damon and he yearns to be turned into a vampire too. Of course we have the history – Katherine and the rest of the clan like Pearl who is resurrected after 145 years.

GOOD GOD. This series has so much lust and passion that it’s driving me NUTS! (in a good way). My God. The thing about vampires is that they’re a damn good seducer and of course they’re supposed to be very gorgeous. It was very hard for me to sit still and watch in peace without having perverted thoughts about Damon every seconds -_____- Damon has the exact characteristics of my fantasy guy :\

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES vs TWILIGHT SAGA

I thought at first that this is just the same as Twilight. I mean, high school girl falling in love with a new guy.. like how Bella Swan is the new girl and Edward falling in love with her.. then there’s the all forbidden love thing between the mortal and the immortal.. takes place in a small town with a history of vampires. Vampires that can go out in the daytime except Edward glitters under the sun haha The Salvatore brothers has a special ring that allows them to walk out during the daytime. But hell no, the series is so much better than Twilight. I’m a fan of Twilight but this series make Twilight looks like it’s for sissies and so is Edward.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES has so much stories. It can get a bit confusing at times though. There’s quite a lot of subplot and doesn’t only evolve around Elena & Stefan. The series also is not a toned down version of a vampire story for the sissies. You see real action, you see brutal death, you see fights, you see emotions, etc. The best thing is that there’s no rivalry for the main couple. I mean gosh, in every movies you see the main couple and there’s always a rival that wants to snatch the girl away.. like the triangle love between Bella, Edward and Jacob. But nobody cares about Stefan & Elena. Even when Elena has a past lover and Stefan with Katherine, but they’re not emo about the past. Damon also is not crazy about Elena even though there’s a hint of secret love for her. We’re not focusing on them but on the vampires & history of Mystic Falls. However there is a sibling rivalry because turns out Stefan & Damon were in love with Katherine and Damon blames Stefan for Katherine’s ‘death’.

The story also has a lot of surprises and twists that you can never expect what’s gonna happen. There’s always something new, or secrets revealed that makes you go, ‘wtf’. Oh and the main thing to repel a vampire in the series is ‘vervain‘. It’s a herb to paralyze a vampire and can protect the human from mind control. Stefan gave Elena a necklace containing vervain to protect her from Damon’s mind control and also from other vampires.

ELENA GILBERT vs BELLA SWAN

Elena Gilbert is played by Nina Dobrev. I absolutely love her. She’s cute and pretty and Elena is a lot less annoying than Bella. Gosh, I can’t stand Bella. She’s way too emo, angsty, indecisive, confused, lost, annoying, and all around mood killer. She’s never happy and the ‘forbidden love’ thing with Edward is way over the top. She’s just waaaaay too annoying.

Now Elena. She’s more focused. She knows what she wants. She’s a strong girl. And Nina is such a good actress. Okay, there are times when Elena can get a bit annoying but it’s not to such extent where it’s down right repulsive like Bella. She’s not emo all the time and from all the things that’s happening to her, she’s one tough cookie.

Nina is absolutely GORGEOUS when she play as Katherine. I just fricken adore the clothings and she plays Katherine so well. Katherine is the major seducer who seduced both Stefan and Damon and is a badass chick (ok she’s a vampire who turned them). Katherine’s part turns me on so badly because hello, you get to have fun with 2 gorgeous boytoys who are deeply smitten by you… ding dong! Hello! Major fantasy come true! Have I mentioned I ADOOOORE the costumes?

STEFAN SALVATORE vs EDWARD CULLEN

Hmmm Stefan & Edward. Both have quite the similarities. Both are gorgeous but duh, vampires are supposed to be gorgeous anyway. They can be out in the daytime. They love a high school girl and thought about leaving her for her safety but couldn’t because the love is too strong. They did the nasty with a mortal. They’re both the ‘good’ vampires, which means they don’t kill humans and feed on them. Of course they can hear thoughts and they’re fast as hell.

Not much difference between them except Stefan stands out more than Edward.. Edward is more of a sissy, sorry. The best part is when Stefan is being tortured by other vampires, and Elena gave him her blood to save him and after that he’s been craving blood and has powerful strength and good God, HIS BODY AND HIS MUSCLES. woof woof. *fans self* Edward’s body cannot be compared to Stefan haha.

Basically Stefan has the ‘good boy’ image… he’s always serious looking, a bit sombre, but has a charming smile..very sexy and oh yeah the hot body. Paul Wesley is also friggin hot.

PS: I have always loved the name Stefan. I’m gonna name my kid that >.<

DAMON SALVATORE

GOOD LORD!

How can someone be this ridiculously sexy & insanely gorgeous?!?

Like seriously. Damon Salvatore is an epitome of every girl’s fantasy, well at least mine. He’s the bad boy who shows no remorse. He’s the powerful vampire that other vampires fear. He has the ability to charm you, seduce you, manipulate you then snap, kill you. But yet, there’s something else about him that is a mystery…

Ian Somerhalder plays Damon so fricken well, it’s unreal. Damon is the major reason why I’m so addicted to the show. He has the ability to seduce a human and compels them to do whatever he tells you to do, and the ability to erase the memory. I don’t know… is it the bright blue eyes and that killer, sharp, seductive looks that managed to really charm me for real? Is it the smile? Is it the badass look? Is it the mysterious & sexy look? Or the image of a suffering, tortured soul? Whatever it is, Damon is one hell of a hot vampire and I would instantly & willingly give myself to him, hahaha.

The thing I love about him is that, at the beginning we see this one very angry vampire who has a deep hatred towards his brother with a tough, bad boy look. He kills the human and has no remorse whatsoever. But as the show progress, his character develops. We see a more ‘vulnerable‘ side of him. Maybe he’s actually longing for something, like an acceptance? There are moments when you want to pity him.. moments when you hope and thought he could change.. moments when he seems to be a good guy. That’s why he’s so irresistible.  But the eyes.. the EYES.. can’t… look… away… Gosh is it hot in here?

He also used to be closed to Stefan until Katherine was taken away because of Stefan so he spent over a decade blaming and hating him. He also maybe have a feeling towards Elena since she’s the splitting image of Katherine.

Sorry for Damon pictures spam. I want his pics in my blog :P I just can’t believe how he exactly fit my own fantasy guy :P The badass/bad boy look, wearing all black + black jacket (it just screams pure orgasmic), mysterious, sexy, seductive, charming yet with a hint of passion, vulnerability, suffering, emo, tortured soul.. *sighs* He’s such a perfect sexy beast.

Well apart from the obvious main characters there are other supporting characters that are cute too.. like Elena’s brother Jeremy. He’s very cute.  Okay I think I’ve spammed enough pictures in here. I can’t wait for season 2 to start next month! I have 4 more episodes to watch for season 1 which I’ll watch tomorrow. Been watching it for hours today. I thought I’d wait and watch in local tv but no, couldn’t control myself :\

I want to read the books but I have like piled up books that I have yet to read -_____- Before I end this post, I’ll post a video from one of the episodes of Damon and Vicki dancing.. geebus cripes I think this has got to be the sexiest dancing I have ever seen on a tv series! I have been tired this past few days. I ended fucking up my sleeping pattern again; staying up all night and sleeping all day. Anyways, next Monday I have my dermatologist appointment again so I’ll be back in PJ this Sunday. However, lately, there has been bad thunderstorms in Malaysia. Few days ago I went out to buy stuff, and food for break of fast, and suddenly it was raining extremely heavily, and shortly after, my house was flooded. It was knee-length and the water got into the car too… the next day the gear couldn’t be shifted. Luckily there wasn’t serious damage and the mechanic came and fixed it for free. In another state, 3 people were killed due to heavy storm ruining a bazaar Ramadhan when people were buying food for break of fast.

Another thing is regarding work. I’ve been asked soooooo many times about job. Can’t one take a break from the hectic college life, after stressing yourself for 3 years, ruining your body and skin from nonstop shooting day and night, rushing for deadlines for 3 days straight without sleep? Most of the annoyance comes from my family/relatives. God, I’m so sick of being asked when am I going to start working by my family, my mom especially.

Here I am to answer yours and any stranger’s questions regarding my job. YES, I do want to work, and I WILL work, and I AM working, sorta. I’ll explain now. You see, if you’re/was a film student, you know how much work we had to do. I get pissed if people compare practical students with theory students. You see, when you have to study, you’ll only torture your brain but if you’re a film student, you’ll have to torture your brain AND your body, jeopardizing your health. So that means both mentally and physically. I have been studying nonstop since I was 19. From foundation in business, to executive secretaryship, to SUPER MAJOR UBER EXTREME MENTAL TORTURE Japanese Pre-U studies, then to film studies. My brain is extremely tired after 8 years, and now my body is majorly tired and weak. I’ve been getting sick like more than 3 times since June. I am STILL sick right now but not as bad.

So I had a long talk with myself few months earlier, took a long time to decide that after I finished my college, I am going to take a break until my convocation. At first, when I did my final last December, I thought I’d start working in January. However, when my former faculty dean told me I have to finish one elective subject, and then later told me I couldn’t join my batch for convocation due to my assessment being held 2 days before the convo, I was very heartbroken. But I was then told that they’d have another convo this October (I hope) so I was happy that I don’t have to wait long.

Now why did I decide not to work now? I have my reasons. Contrary to people’s beliefs, it’s NOT, I repeat NOT because I couldn’t get a job. I COULD get a job if I want to. In fact, early this year I have been offered full time position or contract based job by my internship boss to continue working on their film (which I took part during my internship). I’ve also been called for interviews. I also could work part time here. Honestly speaking, I have a different plan, which no one knows except my mom, so don’t bother asking because I will not tell. But I’m extremely tired. I can’t handle more stress from work, crazy deadlines, pressure from people, the drama from people. I’m just simply very, very, very tired. I do wish I could go away on vacation but I’m broke.

Broke? You hear that a lot from me. I whine about it everyday. Yes, I am very broke right now. Reason? My mom and myself overspent, more than our budget this past 3 months. Reason? Very personal. This past few years I’ve found ways to support myself and ease my mom’s burden. However lately, we’ve had a lot of personal and family problems that we had to fork out more than we could afford. I do have part time work online, but because I have been sick a lot lately since I’ve been back in my hometown, I couldn’t concentrate much so I haven’t been getting much work done. I have however been concentrating on my test project for something else I’ve been planning to do. I’m not sure if I would stick with it, but hey, at least I’m not wasting time at the moment.

2nd thing, I have been trying to learn stuff a lot. You see, 85% of projects/stuff I did at college resulted from self study. Honestly, we did not learn a lot, we had to research on our own. We never touched Adobe After Effects program at college, but I learned how to use it myself a little bit. Same goes with my other mates. We did not learn much on 3D Studio Max. So to summarize, I don’t have enough skills at the moment. I’d love to be a motion graphic designer.. but how can I be one when I lack the skill of Adobe AE? Or maybe developer for something.. All the jobs I’ve been hunting for requires knowledge of programs that I have never touched. How can I apply for those jobs? How can I even impress the people with my unimpressive resume? I’m not the kind of person who just grabs whatever low-class job I can get. Sorry I have to sound a bit arrogant here, but I have relatives, friends, neighbors who are doctors, lawyers, university professors, property managers, engineers, interior designers, entrepreneurs etc.. how am I supposed to show my face at family gatherings if I say “Oh I’m working as part time crew at McDonald’s” or “I’m just a clerk at the office“??? They’re not bad jobs, but it’s the mindset of my family & relatives who WILL think I’m such a disgrace. Also when it comes to work, I do what -I- want to do, not what -other- people want me to do. This is my life, I control it, and I won’t force myself to do something I will never enjoy and will regret. I made that mistakes before, never again.

Regarding my health, if you haven’t been noticing, I haven’t been in a good shape. I haven’t been healthy. Hence why I’ve been staying in Ipoh, the reason is partly related to my health. I’ve mentioned part of my health problems online, but that’s just PART of it. You don’t know the rest of it. I decided to mention this now so in case I die you’ll know. Honestly speaking, there has been days in this past 3 months where I was literally only a step closer to meet with the grim reaper but managed to pull myself back.

There’s a lot more I want to say, but I don’t want to write 10 pages long of boring problems. I could you know. I decided to spill everything out because I’m spiraling down towards deep depression again from all the pressures I’ve been getting lately. Job, life, health, money, marriage, appearance, bla bla bla. So please don’t mention to me about job anymore. There’s a limit to one’s patience. I am currently doing something, and I have my own plans. It’s just that I haven’t been mentioning it to anyone so it appears as if I’m just relaxing here… I’m not. And even if I get a job now, it will only add to my currently piled up issues. No one knows about any of this except those of you who managed to read this up to here. Not even my mom is aware about half of my problems and worries. So yes, I’d appreciate it if everyone (especially my family) would just shut the fuck up about me getting a job or whatever other issues that might arise and let me have a peace of mind.

JASIN: Part-time workers will be able to enjoy better benefits, such as Employees Provident Fund contributions and Socso coverage, under a new regulation beginning Oct 1.

Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said the regulation under the Employment Act would allow some 18 million Malaysians to work part-time with better protection, which would in turn reduce the country’s dependency on foreign workers.

It is expected to benefit some 12 million locals working in both the private and public sectors, and 6.5 million Malaysians who can be productive but are not working at the moment, including housewives, students, undergraduates and the disabled.

“The Cabinet has agreed to the implementation of the new regulation.

“It will ensure that the protection of part-time workers’ rights and benefits is carried out in a clearer and comprehensive manner.

“Malaysians can now work to earn extra income under better protection,” he told reporters after attending a meet-the-client day programme here yesterday.

Dr Subramaniam said part-time workers would now be given salaries and other relevant benefits, such as EPF contributions, Socso coverage and medical entitlements, on a pro rata basis.

“The regulation also provides a clear guideline with formulae for employers to calculate the figures correctly,” he said.

Besides reducing dependency on foreign workers, Dr Subramaniam said the new regulation should encourage more Malaysians who were currently not working, to enter the labour force.

“Most of them are skilled and educated. If they can be included into the workforce, this will not only boost our local labour strength, but will generate more income domestically,” he added.

That sounds awesome. This way I could still work and get benefits like full time workers, while at the same time I still have time to work on whatever I might be doing in the future. That is just great news. Speaking of extra work, I wish I could get myself a mac soon.. I’m hoping by December (PC Fair hopefully) as a Christmas gift for myself (sad isn’t it?). My PC and my laptop are simply losing the capability to edit videos now.. it just lags like no one’s business. And I wish I could go somewhere for Christmas.. I wish to have a white Christmas, and see Christmas trees and decorations, with colorful C9 led christmas lights lighting up houses on the streets.. yes even though I’m a malay/muslim, I do celebrate Christmas.. no, not for the real reason which is celebrating the birth of Jesus, but just the celebration itself only. I somehow feels Christmas give me some sort of tranquility… well I’m very traditional so that means a white Christmas with presents under the trees, people caroling in the street…Christmas decorations everywhere.. choirs.. Santa…*sighs* I used to have that when I was a kid, now I have lost it all.. it seems that everything from your childhood will disappear when you’re an adult. The tradition is now gone as year 2000 enters.

Same goes to Eid Mubarak/Hari Raya celebration.. used to look forward to it when I was a kid… the joy of visiting relatives, getting money, eating the food, listening to Raya music and watching Raya shows on TV.. playing with firecrackers etc, houses lit up with oil lamp or torches (something like Tiki torches).. now my celebration is like shit.. half of tradition gone.. no relatives would come to visit us because either they’re all grown up and have moved out and have a big family, getting too old or already dead. Half of my close family have passed away.. grandma, grandpa, my 2 aunts, my 2 uncles, and lots of other relatives who died of old age. Hari Raya has no meaning to me anymore.

I don’t even know who would come to my wedding in the future, if I have one.

My house used to be full of people on Hari Raya…

…Now it’s just empty.

I wanted to blog this sooner but I fucked my sleeping pattern so I’ve been tired but YEAAAAAAAHHHH! Spain won the World Cup 2010! It’s still fresh news right?

It’s weird to care about it. I wasn’t into the world cup earlier. The last time when I was really into world cup was in 2002 when Brazil won. I was supporting Brazil all the way, and I had my online friend to talk to about the world cup so it kept me interested..

…but 4 years after that, I was in Japanese school, didn’t really care. My Japanese school life was killing me. Now for this year, I didn’t care UNTIL the match between Germany & Argentina. Usually I’d just check out the score the next day. I was shocked that Brazil lost! That day I hung out with my friend, and somehow she texted me about the game after, and I started to watch it.. luckily local tv was showing it live. Then I got more and more interested because I had someone to talk to about it.. and kept my interest going. Unfortunately, the next match on that day between Spain & Paraguay wasn’t shown live here, so I was texting with my friend to keep me updated with the score. At that time, I still didn’t have my internet.

even though that morning, Brazil lost.

Argentina vs Germany – I was rooting for Argentina! My friend too.. but when Germany kicked their ass like no other, we were shocked, and pissed O_O Then Spain won, so that’s something good. I hated Germany for kicking Argentina’s ass.

Germany vs Spain – This was shocking! Haha and it was so much fun. A lot of people were rooting for Germany, and some were sure Germany would win. Yes, there has been predictions on Spain but come on, Germany kicked Argentina’s ass with 4-0 score.. so it’s not impossible they could kick Spain’s ass…luckily they couldn’t! Haha! I was so happy Spain made it to the final! Nobody cared about the match between Germany & Uruguay… I mean like, whatever right? Don’t really care who won.. but Germany did so whatever lol.

The Final Match: Netherlands vs Spain

Oh God, it was the most intense match I have ever seen! The match was aired at 2.30 am Malaysia time, so I was screaming and shouting in the middle of the night… it was nerve-wrecking when  no team has scored and they had to add extra time! And it was even shocking how the Dutch played the game! They played it dirty.. they played it rough.. they lost their integrity. Seems like they don’t want to be respected for playing good, but just want the damn cup. The most shocking part was the super kung fu/karate/ninja kick to Alfonso’s chest by De Jong!

That was just super brutal, dude! The worst tackle ever. Poor Alfonso. If it was a kick to the knee or ankle, that’s normal.. but the CHEST?! He’s lucky that he’s still breathing. He might be suffering a broken rib though. What pisses everyone off is that, the stupid fucking referee only gave De Jong a YELLOW CARD? That should have been a damn RED CARD! Shame on you, De Jong. This match was also the only match that I’ve seen with so many yellow cards given! 14 yellow cards! And 1 red card. It was so annoying that every few minutes, there’d be something happening… either Holland played rough or Spain made a bad tackle.

PAUL THE PSYCHIC OCTOPUS

Haha I’m sure you’ve heard of him… the psychic German octopus!

Even though I’m not supposed to believe all this psychic mambo jumbo.. but I can’t help but be amazed that out of 8 matches (7 involving Germany, and one for the final), he got all 8 predictions right! He even predicted that Spain would win the cup, but after almost 2 1/2 hours of no goal, I was starting to doubt Paul until few minutes before extra time ends, and Iniesta scored a goal! I was like omg Paul was right hahaha. If I had bet a lot of money on Spain, I’d be rich by now! So to honor Paul and his super psychic power & prediction /sarcasm, I promised not to eat octopus for a month haha.

Now I know why people with heart attack are not recommended to watch world cup … at least not alone. I nearly got a heart attack every time they tried to score a goal but the ball ended up outside..so close, soooo damn close.

Well world cup is over, I need to get back my normal sleeping pattern. Let’s see if I can still gain interest in the next FIFA WC in 2014.. it’s gonna be held in Brazil so I hope Brazil will win!

I’ve been so addicted to Glee’s soundtrack since I came back here because of no internet..there was nothing I could do but sing to kill time.. and yesterday I remembered the soundtrack I used to be obsessed with when I was about 12 or 13… EVITA.

Evita (starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas) was an epic movie. I just love the songs so much… sucks that I didn’t bring any DVD back except for my Golden Girls DVD and Glee DVD so I wanna download Evita..except… I”M RUNNING OUT OF SPACE! Gah. I have like 3 GB left… -.- PC Fair will be in early August!! So I’m thinking of making a day trip to KL by train haha. It’s easier rather than having to drive back to KL.. the train will stop at KL Sentral, and from there I’ll take the LRT train straight to KLCC (Petronas Twin Tower) to the convention center for the PC Fair. Hoping to get a either a new portable 500 GB external HDD or a new media player.. western digital maybe? Or should I get seagate? Hmmm decisions decisions…

I went shopping today! And I bought cakes

Secret Recipe cakes are t3h awesomeness. Their cheesecakes are just so good. I bought a slice of strawberry marshmallow cheesecake and a slice of peach cream cake. The cheesecake is just so damn good like omg.

Sounds good.. the thing is, I’ve never heard of this before.. anyone know if it’s available in Malaysia? Speaking of weight loss… in last few posts, I mentioned that I’m on diet pills right? Okay.. you see, for 3 weeks since I’ve been back in my hometown, I’ve been sick. I couldn’t eat a thing except drink water. I had absolutely no appetite at all. I weighed myself at the mall last month and there was no weight loss at all! I figured I hit a plateau.

So yesterday at the mall I took the scale and weighed myself and I blurted ‘WTF!’ out loud. 4 scales I tested showed that I have lost 10KG (22 lbs) in a month. Wtf! Ok, one scale showed a different one so that’s why I feel skeptical on the result of the other 3 but holy shit, if I’ve really lost 10KG in a month (mind you, without any exercise at all) then I am so fucking happy! But it kind of sound a bit too good to be true? I don’t feel like I have lost weight.. so I’ll wait until I can get a hold of a better, reliable scale. I have a feeling I’m gaining weight again because I’ve been eating fattening stuff like cheesecakes -______-

Also, at the moment my teeth are aching so bad… ARRRGH!

Well I feel tired to continue blogging even though I planned to talk about much more but I’ll continue later.

I wanna see TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE! Team Jacob FTW!

I DESPISE remakes of the classic horror movies. I hate them. They always butcher the classic. Till this day, I have yet to find a good remake of a classic horror film. I was shocked to know that they’re remaking one of my fave classic 80′s vampire flicks of all time – FRIGHT NIGHT. WTF. Not Fright Night too! -___-

Fright Night is a teen vampire flick (oh no, do NOT think of Twilight) that tells the story of Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) who is a big fan of Peter Vincent, a TV celebrity who host a show called ‘Fright Night’ and calls himself The Vampire Killer. One night he saw something suspicious about his new neighbor, and eventually believes that his neighbor is a vampire. His gf Amy (Amanda Bearse) and his buddy Evil Ed (Stephen Geoffreys) don’t believe him of course. So trying to stop their friend’s crazy imagination, they asks the help of Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall) to prove to Charley that Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon) is not a vampire but found out the truth.. so later Jerry would kidnap Amy, and Charley and Peter join forces to stop the vampire once and for all and save Amy.

Now, I fear how they’re gonna butcher this movie in the remake which will be shown 2011. HOWEVER… I have heard that DAVID TENNANT will be playing Peter Vincent. OMG. If David is playing, no matter how shitty the movie is, I’ll love it!

I abso-fucking-lutely LOVE David Tennant. He’s totally fuckable. He’s well known as the 10th Doctor from the series Dr. Who, and also appeared as a villain in the Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire. Absolutely adore his Scottish accent ;D

Now the thing is, I don’t know how well he’s going to portray Peter Vincent.. well I can imagine him being in that character though, because he was good in Dr. Who but  Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Evil Ed?!?!?! SERIOUSLY?? Don’t get me wrong, I like him but seeing him in Superbad and Role Models, he’s so totally not Evil Ed. Stephen Geoffreys was awesome as Evil Ed (he’s also fricken cute, was a fan of him for few years since I was 10, ignoring the fact that he went and did gay porn -__- ), and the character is a bit wacky and crazy, badass, innocent, funny etc.. Chris as badass? Uhhhh……. Oh no, I so cannot see Chris playing as Evil Ed x____x

CUTTTEEEEYYY.. You’re so cool, Brewster!

Evil Ed’s lines that became catch phrases in the 80′s – “To what do I owe this dubious pleasure?” & “You’re so cool, Brewster!“. You see, Evil Ed is special. He’s not ordinary. He seems like a badass, but not.. he also seems innocent and you want to pity him.. you won’t understand what I’m talking about if you haven’t seen the movie. Now all those characteristics are going to be portrayed by —-

– him?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??. Like seriously! I’m speechless. I mean come on, out of all actors in the world, HIM? No offense.. but urrrrghh. I just can see him as ‘nerdy, dorky, geek, loser, goofy, klutz, mentally challenged, funny, slow’ kind of characters.. but NOT Evil Ed X____X Like chud.com, this article also agrees that “EVIL ED WOEFULLY MISCAST IN FRIGHT NIGHT REMAKE“. Maybe they’re rewriting the character to be different..

And Collin Farrell as Jerry Dandridge the vampire?? Hmmm.. I have doubts, because Chris Sarandon had this some sort of sexy seductive look as all vampires should have that totally can make you swoon… so Collin Farrell? Hmmmmmm………….. I have no comment on the actor that’s going to play Charley Brewster.

Well, I just can’t wait to see David as Peter Vincent.. it would be veeeeeeeery interesting The only thing I can look forward to because they killed Evil Ed..  Unless they make him look very old just like Roddy McDowall’s version of Peter Vincent then uh.. rotten tomato anyone?

I feel like watching Fright Night now.. wow surprisingly my broadband is still connected for like 3 hours now.. oh and suddenly I just remembered that my friend mentioned paying for car insurance reminded me that I need to renew my driving license this month.. NOTE TO SELF! Oh and buy some mosquito repellent mats.

Oh yeah, football/soccer fever has started! .. Too bad I’m no longer interested in football like I used to be when I was younger..
