I’m addicted to this group’s song called ‘Dr. Feel Good‘ right now. I first heard their song on TV when they were promoting a concert ‘SuaraKami’ and they were one of the performance acts for that concert. The first time I saw the video I was like WHOA. Damn sexy. The song is catchy (sounds a lot like Eurythmics’s Sweet Dreams Are Made of This beat) and the dance and video is sexy so I told myself I’m gonna learn the damn dance steps. And I did I haven’t been dancing or learn any choreography for a LOOOOONG time. I’m fat now. So it has been a challenge. But I did it. I just need to polish my steps and add more energy and fix a few steps and I’ve mastered the dance. It’s quite a tiring choreography but the steps are quite simple once you got the hang of it. Well here’s the video and the lyrics. I’ll post the original Korean version and English version (English version is sexier but the song sounds better in Korean).

I think I’ve just joined the Korean music fever. I didn’t want to, because I find Korean word is harder to pronounce than Japanese words but I gotta admit, they have better pop music with awesome choreography and the only way I can lose weight and enjoy it at the same time would be by dancing to Korean pop music.. just like how I did with Jpop 9 years ago.

I have a short movie review coming up later that I wanted to do like last month but I never got to it because of the crappy connection but right now I want to post a new lyric! Edit// No time to do movie review tonight, need to sleep.. first day of work tomorrow, wish me luck!

This is the final ‘battle’ song from the movie Tenacious D’s Pick of Destiny. It’s the scene that was cut out completely when I first saw it on HBO Asia cuz it shows the devil.. fuck them, this is like the best song from the movie, not saying that others aren’t though. Somehow I can’t stop singing to this for the whole day and it was stuck to my head all day long. Maybe cuz I downloaded the soundtrack this morning and the OST just fucking rocks.

While I was doing research for my extra credit work on Evil Dead, I was reading wikipedia and I found out about this Finnish band called LORDI who made a music video tribute to Evil Dead… so I decided to youtube it.

Fuck.

It’s the best damn music video, like everrrrrrrr.

I’m currently so obsessed with the music video and song like you have no idea. Is it abnormal to be turned on majorly by it? I mean.. the guy in the video with the camera is hot (to me), and him dying, then turning into a possessed deadite is such a turn on.. plus the song, the music.. damnit.. oh did I mention LORDI themselves are also monsters? Of course, the Evil Dead setting is plus plus plus.

A Bout De Souffle

To continue my last night’s blog – so we watched A BOUT DE SOUFFLE/BREATHLESS in class on Friday. Usually I like movements videos that we’ve watched, like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Ladri Di Biciclette, or even Battleship Potemkin but when I tried to watch A Bout de Souffle, I fell asleep… TWICE. Maybe because I was tired having to drive back to KL from Ipoh. But the movie is not boring.. I like the comical part they put it in the characters… just that they have long talk scenes… I read that this one scene in the bedroom where the character Michel talks with Patricia goes on for 25 minutes with pure nothing-ness. So to sum it up, the movie is pure nothing-ness. I prefer Ladri di Biciclette more.. but Jackie liked it though, surprisingly lol. I don’t quite like the jumpcuts techniques that much unless it’s just an effect in music videos or something.

After movie we had to answer 2 questions about the movie and the French New Wave.. me, Ka Mun and Skyler were like talking and talking and talking about it..until I saw 2 girls in front of me looking at Nintendo DS Lite in a magazine.. I asked to see it, but before I could read it Ka Mun said we only had 5 minutes left to answer before class is over, so I was rushing and gave the magazine to Imara and didn’t get a chance to read it Why is it that when I want something, I keep seeing it everywhere? Anyways, by my next payday which is in 2 weeks, I’d have enough for the DS Lite but I couldn’t buy it yet :\ I need to use the money for stuff.. plus I feel like buying Anoretix, the hit weight loss pills that claims they can shed pounds and I’ve read positive reviews. I’ve emailed them and they do ship to Malaysia HOWEVER it cost like $50 per bottle so it’s like fucking expensive. I’m going to get the DS lite for christmas.. told mom she’d have to buy it (my money of course x.x) then gift wrap it for me (we don’t celebrate Christmas) instead of me gift wrapping it and giving it to myself lol. I’m pathetic. I’m not denying that when it comes to that, I badly miss my ex who showered me with expensive gifts. So yeah I do miss that – all the christmas gifts.. the HUGE teddy bear.. the expensive jeweleries, all pink related cute stuff even though he hates pink lol, HUGE bouquet of roses that cost like USD$100+… he was a generous gentleman who didn’t care about spending money for me until his attitude completely changes.

Oh well that’s enough.. making me depressed.
