Yesterday I went to my old internship place cuz I needed to see someone to get something and it was so weird cuz I passed Imagika and it seemed empty.. after having Ayam Penyet with my mom (flattened chicken which btw just opened a new branch in Kota Damansara, MAJOR AWESOMENESS) we went to Hez Comm and it was a surprise to find EVERYONE there.. everyone from Imagika that is.. I mean it used to be full of people that will be involved with CE1 movie but kinda strange to find everyone from Imagika there, and of course they were surprised to see me. I miss working there. I mean I don’t really miss the stress of work but the working environment. I had a lot of fun. Anyways, too bad it was the last day or the last week for half of them there so I went there during the right moment. I also saw my ex-supervisor and she just got back from Australia for honeymoon so she brought them koala keychains and since I happened to be there at the right moment, I got one too. Awesome. Thank you. I love koala.
Last night I finished downloading “Accepted” movie and it was an awesome movie. I saw the DVD since quite a while ago and been wanting to watch it but I was scared it’ll be another boring teen movie since it’s about a bunch of kids who got rejected with every colleges so they decided to fake an acceptance letter that they got into this non-existant college and then they had to make it happen for real. It’s a movie about finding about yourself, which I like. It starred Justin Long and he’s awesome. Funny movie and I’d totally recommend it if you’re into teen movie.

It was horrible because I was sick! Wtf. The night before the shooting day I had food poisoning, can you imagine that? Good thing no puking scenario. So I went there at 9 am and got back home at 12:30 am. Yowza. Only good thing was that I got to stare at some hot guys there. I had absolutely no energy nor the mood to talk to them nor anyone except for some of the crews. I love the makeup though, this time done by some pro makeup artists. There was this guy who is a tranny but omg his/her face is so cute that I couldn’t stop staring >.> He/She has this really nice smile.

The shooting was ok, extremely fun for the last one at night cuz we had to be crowd and had to scream and make funny faces. OMG the guys, even the old ones was like cracking jokes and it was sooooooooo hard to act surprise when I was supposed to be serious! I bet you could see me laughing when I was supposed to be surprised and shocked. Oh well you prolly can’t see me anyway :P Or the many me :P They chose like 6 peeps I guess for close up.. they chose me first but then they told me no.. at that time I had completely lost all of my energy and voice so it was good they decided not to use me, BUT I prolly missed a close up or something. Not that I wanted to — by 12 am I looked like shit. I didn’t go for touch up cuz I wanted to go back early >.> The funniest part was that we hard to shake our butts! So that tranny dude was like shaking his/her butt and we were shaking ours.. then I got a text message from the guy who likes me saying “nice butt shaking”.. it was embarassing lol.
I didn’t eat for the whole day except for a few spooful of rice. Good thing that guy was like helping me get med and water and Eyza was getting me food and all. You can see some photos of me in my facebook. I loved my glitter eyes

Yesterday I was playing Tokimeki Memorial GS Plus on my DS for prolly more than 5 hours nonstop and finally finished the game with A GUY ENDING! Farkin finally. I’ve played that game soooo many times but I’ve never gotten any ending with the guy I want.. so I was pretty much excited about that. Today is my last day of my holiday. College starts tomorrow… ahhh back to college after 4 months.. feels a bit weird to not go to work anymore.
OH OH I had Dominos Pizza delivered today and they have this Terminator promotion so I got a free coke glass with limited edition terminator box.. and even the pizza box has changed into this damn nice black terminator design..omg. They should stick to that design…black pizza box is t3h aw3somen3ss! I’ll put pics later. They’ve even changed their website layout design to black terminator design.. black is t3h s3x!
My thumb is getting much better. Still not 100% better but at least I can use it a little bit now. Slowly doing some bit of my own therapy to get my thumb to fully 100% usable again. Hehe feels like as if I had broken my thumb, but slightly less severe than that. However now my back is hurting … fuck. I seem to always hurt myself somehow when I sleep. o___O Oh my cold is gone, yay. I still cough a little bit, but not bad anymore.
I’ve been having trouble sleeping this past two days. I’ve been sleeping during the day, went to do part time work during the evening and then stay up at night till morning playing game. I was up all night last night playing Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side Plus on my DS for like more than 6 hours straight only to find out I did not get the guy ending that I wanted, argh! I hate that. Going to play it all over again. I can never get sick of Tokimeki Memorial GS.
Anyways, I’ve been doing some bit of work for my boss and I saw some movie shots. Almost everyone I know from the crew are extras in the movie. Some were so hilarious. I told them, when the movie is out at the cinema, the fun thing for me to do would be spotting familiar faces in the background, haha. Speaking of extra, I’ll be an extra this Thursday again. Not sure what scene and stuff but yeah… we’ll see. But yay they’re shooting at the studio again, so it’s much nearer. They were in Sepang until today.
Last Sunday, I took my mom out for a dinner. It was hilarious cuz I missed a turn and got sooooooooo lost, like at a housing area I have never been to before, with absolutely no cars around so it was sort of isolated and very quiet and creepy, no signboard whatsoever.. and I just keep on driving without any sense of direction… I was SO WORRIED that I would end up someplace I don’t know and can’t find my way back anymore.. plus it was so friggin dark… until half an hour later then BAM I actually reached the place without knowing it. Wtf.
It was friggin full at that time. I took some pics so story on that later. I spent RM100 on a meal for 2 person *gasps* Hehe.
OH! I bought PERFECT STRANGERS: THE COMPLETE SEASON 1 & 2 DVD yesterday. 4 discs for RM30. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s an old show.. used to watch it when I was little but strangely I’ve never heard about it again. It’s a safe comedy… it has no dirtyness or anything.. sometime could be boring but it’s a nice show Can’t remember much of it though, the 1st and 2nd seasons were shown back in 1986 or something.
Plus a pirated TWILIGHT DVD.. that one is free cuz I claimed their stamp collection (10 stamps free 1 DVD thing). Hehe I want the original 3 discs Twilight Dvd set but kinda can’t afford it yet. Bleh.You know what I want? MARRIED… WITH CHILDREN. They show this episodes as a minisode on cable tv.. it’s like 5 mins summarization of each episode. WHAT. THE. FUCK. Why show it if you’re just gonna tease people with 5 mins of it? I don’t get it. I’ve been getting more and more interested in Married… With Children. Sadly, can’t find the dvd here. Might have to order from amazon soon. I have so many tv shows in my to-buy list.
College starts next week.. strangely enough I’m kinda looking forward to it. The classes, not the college though cuz I can imagine everytime I reach there, I would be cursing cuz I won’t be able to find parking. I can’t wait to start classes again, kinda need a break from the working world a bit and be student again.
My phone is falling apart. Part of the deco fell off and now it’s ugly. Oh well. H brought a new phone last week. Bleh. Nokia N95 if I remember correctly. OMG I want LG Lollipop cell phone… argh! It’s so friggin cute .. I used to want LG Ice cream but I read a review last night that the pink ones is faulty. They hang after 2nd day.. and the battery last a day.. wtf. When it comes to battery, Sony Ericsson is the BEST. I can fully charge the phone in less than 15 minutes, and the battery could last up to a week. Seriously. I love my phone but sadly, have to move on to a new one. LG Lollipop, hurry the fuck up and come to Malaysia! Grr.
I am so fucking addicted to Bubble Tea like you have no idea. It’s bad that the supplier is near my office. I suddenly have craving for Subway sandwich. Hmm.
I finally found the time to watch TWILIGHT that I downloaded couple of weeks ago. Fucking finally! Gosh, the movie is AWESOME. I don’t know. I heard many bad reviews… people hating the movie. But to me, well, I like it. I don’t know. It’s not ‘perfect’ but let’s just say the whole movie is about my fantasy, haha. Hence why I love it majorly. I’ve downloaded the book so if I find time I”m gonna read it. I’m downloading the audio book, so hopefully it’ll be done downloading soon cuz I don’t really like reading lol.
Gosh I wish I was Bella and have a hot vampire to fall in love with :\ But I do feel the movie is a bit.. hmm I don’t have a word for it.. slow? I don’t know.. something lacks in the progression of the story. Oh who the hell cares.
Oh by the way, do not watch a movie after you watch the spoofs of it. It ruined some moments of twilight for me. I keep remembering spoofs I saw on youtube like by Ryan Higa and evil iguana productions that I failed to get into some deep moments.. instead I keep remembering the spoof and burst out laughing.
Oh, on Sunday I bought SPICE GIRLS LIVE IN ISTANBUL DVD… omg! I have been wanting it since 12 years ago! Yes, THAT long! I have it on VHS that I taped from HBO, but my VHS player has been broken for ages. However, I am disappointed that they cut HALF of the concert… they cut half of the songs. Wtf. Why would they do that??? Gah.
I haven’t been to the filming location for 4 days now. My uncle came Sunday night so been taking him to places. Tomorrow hopefully gonna show him the shooting location. They have 2 days contingency so I won’t run into them. Oh and one of my close colleagues resigned today. I was completely shocked. We’ve been emailing the whole day yesterday and suddenly today he sent an sms saying he’s resigning. I won’t reveal anything but I”m sad cuz he’s like my gossip buddy I should shut up before I reveal stuff I shouldn’t.

Wow, I can’t believe I finished the internship. Couple more sems then I”ll be done! Yesterday was the final assessment and it went well You see my slot was at 9.30 am, and I was required to come at 8.30 am, an hour before my presentation. But since I was up all night slaving myself away with the presentation slides and all that shit, I finished at 7 am. And that’s not including finishing my log book. So I only left house at 9.10 am. But surprisingly enough Ms F reached there at the same time too, so at least I’m not being called late! Huhuhuuhu. At last, presentation started at 10 am.
It went well lol I was nervous as heck. They were questioning me stuff at the end, and they all seem ok and satisfied with what I’ve gone through… however I think Ms S is becoming more un-enthusiastic everytime… She was acting like she didn’t wanna be there lol Maybe she was sick.
However, they said I haven’t done ‘a lot’ .. that’s because I only showed my graphics part. I didn’t show any videos that I did. So I popped in the DVD and guess what? It wouldn’t read.. GAH. Usually I’d have a backup but why I didn’t have a backup yesterday fucking puzzled me lol. So unfortunately I *might* lose my mark with other assessor on that. Oh well. Shit happened. Though I did deliver a good presentation etc and they seemed ok with it, so it’s all good.
Saw Skyler and Ka Mun at the library.. we hung out at IKEA, Ikano and then Daiso@The Curve, yay I’ ve missed my little bundle of joy >=P Then went to Giant with mom.. and went shopping
So today I’m back to work but not as intern anymore, as a normal worker, or freelancer or whatever… huhuhu Felt like a huge load of burden has been lifted from my shoulder because I’ll be working not under college so I’m not bound by any college rules … so that’s like a major fucking relief.
I’m asked to go to Sepang today!!! Which is the shooting location… I was really, really, really hoping to go there for some reasons and so that I don’t have to be in the office and that I can see the shooting :P But my boss said my call time is 6.30 am, wtf lol That’s soooo early. Then I better get ready o.O
I have A LOT to write about. I went to a movie production launching on Thursday and if you’ve seen my facebook then you’ve seen some of the pics I took. But right now I”m just gonna quickly blog first because I have to finish my report, hoping that I can print it in the office today so I don’t have to waste money, lol.
Oh shoot, I also need to remember to pay for my domain. Sucks paying monthly. I’m still looking at other web hosting sites, to see if I should move host or not but I don’t know.. justhost.com is the top in the list, but could I trust them? Normal and premium plan are just the same…so kinda suspicious if they have sort of scam or hidden ToS that would require you to squint your eyes to read it all. Maybe I should just stick to dreamhost. I don’t know, probably I’ll test out justhost.com one day, while still keeping dreamhost and see which is better…justhost.com is still cheaper if I pay monthly…like 8 bucks instead of 11 bucks at dreamhost. Hmmm.

My boss has a new secretary since Thursday, I’m not the only girl in the office anymore! …wait is that a good thing? Hopefully she won’t steal my spotlight Oh well, so far she’s been nice to me, and I have someone to talk to now Too bad she didn’t join us when I was at the early stage, I was so alone before I got along with the guys at Hez Comm. Strangely enough, I don’t really get along with the girls except for Linda and Yaya who are gone now :\
We also created some fake scandal issue at the office… why is it starting to get really fun in the office now? When I’m about to finish my internship? I used to say “THANK GOD ONLY 3 MONTHS”.. but now I”m saying “GAH WHY NOT 6 MONTHS!”… cuz I’m the only intern there who’s interning for only 3 months instead of 6.
I”m supposed to be working on my report tonight and presentation slides and card design, but nope. I”m procrastinating, apart from talking with H about….stuff. Speaking of H, he banked in RM100 into my account on Monday Aww. Well he told me that he’s currently very broke, so he could finally understand my financial problem I’ve been having… and suddenly he said his dad gave him RM200 and he decided to split half with me… that really touched me. Even though he was so broke and desperate with money, he gave me half. So hard to find someone like that nowadays.
Anyways. On Monday I decided to buy “Ayam Penyet”, or flatten chicken in English. It’s a famous dish in Indonesia. EVERYONE at work has been boasting about how delicious ayam penyet is since it’s near to the office. So I decided to try it. I’m also a bubble tea/pearl tea lover so I decided to get one, refusing to taste it until I get home and drink it while eating ayam penyet. Unfortunately, I dropped it, and my mango bubble drink is all over the road. I was so upset I was gonna cry. However ayam penyet was REALLY GOOD. I’ll take pics next time.
So yesterday (Tuesday), I was chatting with my colleague and told her about my drink incident and she said nearby office, there’s actually a bubble tea supplier and that got me drooling. But then I had to work…. and work… and work.. haha, they got a new photocopy/printing machine yesterday and everybody’s acting like it’s a machine of the future cuz now all comps can use it, and I made my laptop and Muzammil’s laptop to be able to use it too through network, so everybody has been printing nonstop. Before this, you could barely hear any printing sound a day. I think they used up hundreds and hundreds of papers within 10 minutes.
I was extremely busy trying to finish up the production booklet, but Andre aka Tomok/Tomogo keep changing and adding stuff.. so guess what? We all ended up staying up until the next day working on the booklet (me, Andre, Wak). It’s been a hella funny night too though. Oh, Mr K also brought cheesecake and then Andre decided to order Canadian Pizza… FINALLY, I get to taste Canadian Pizza..when they ordered it before, I keep getting there too late. Anyways, when Andre gave me money to pay for them, I realized they’re only 4 large pizzas, not extra large…so Andre was pissed lol. So he called them back, and was like “Aku dah lapar ni. Pizza tak cukup” translated as ‘I’m hungry, there aren’t enough pizza’. He was saying it in a very funny way and I was just sitting next to him trying to not laugh my head off.
So finally at 8 am I finished the damn map. Shitty map. Oh well. My brain has shut down too. But I joined them at the mamak restaurant to eat breakfast. Got me some bubble tea at the place Zack told me, and daaaaaaaamn it was good! Reach home at 1 pm and passed out until 9 pm lol. Shit. I was gonna go back to work at 6 pm lol.
My boss has requested me to continue working after the internship is over, until my next sem starts but I’ll be working for real, not as intern anymore. Like a real career he said. Ooo. When I was chatting with Andre, I told him I want to join them during shooting but bah, they start shooting on 21st, which is the day of my final presentation…. and they would be staying at the location for 23 days I think…ooooof. I can’t be gone that long from home. I’ll die. I’ll see how.

So, a few posts back, I wrote about TURBO: The movie starring Dave Lehre, the guy that is my inspiration when it comes to the filmmaking and editing world and last week I checked my myspace and I was surprised to see I got a message from him Apparently, he somehow saw my blog and my post about his movie so he was sending me a message letting me know and saying his thanks… awwww thanks Dave! You rock.
I still can’t wait to see TURBO: The movie.
I’d like to post another short movie starring Dave Lehre, directed by Michael and Daniel Carberry. Now, if you’re just a watching this, you’d be like WTF? Now if you’re a film student, or like to go in depth with the technical stuff, now this is a very good short film. I just love the cinematography. The angles are good, the lighting gives the mysterious, dark mood as we listen to the character hear his own conscience and struggles with his addiction with pills. Dave did a great job portraying an addict. Makes you feel you, too, is going crazy in a very claustrophobic room.
Bah to see young filmmakers do good films really depresses me. I’m pathetic.
Other than that, work has been very interesting. I saw them testing the robot costume for the movie. It’s still very private and confidential so I can’t leak any photos lol. Hmmm what else… well for the past one week, I’ve been going home very late. Last Friday my colleague was on tv, and yesterday they were in the newspaper… which would’ve included me had I wore the damn shirt.
Last Thursday Andre suddenly requested me to do production booklet for the pre production meeting.. so I was like rushing and stuff. There was A LOT to compile and type. And funny coincidence, we saw a singer on tv who has the EXACT hair that Andre has, so we’ve been calling him “Tomok” cuz that’s the artist’s name.. but since he, too, is my Japanese language buddy, so he prefers to be called “Tomogo”, the male version of the name ‘Tomoko’.
PC Fair started on FRIDAY! I went in the morning, lol. Was rushing and all. There was an offer for HDD for REALLY cheap (Rm299!) for 1 TB but only for the first 50, and how unfortunate that before that I went to the bank to withdraw money and fucking ATM machine ate my card! So I could have gotten the HD for extra 40 bucks for RM339 (still cheaper than other booths) but I decided that I don’t like the design. It’s quite light so when my cat goes crazy, they can easily bumps into the HD and it could easily slide off the table.
So I decided to get 2 x 500GB Maxtor OneTouch 4 HD at RM199 each (still in the first 50 people promotion)…so it’s RM398, which technically almost the same price as Western Digital’s 1TB My Book Home edition at RM399. However, after reading lots of comments about HD failing after a short while, I got scared. That’s why I decided to get 2x500Gb, so in case one fails, I have the other. I’ll wait until PC Fair in August. By then, the 2TB HD would probably become cheaper (PC Fair offer was RM888! O___O) ..I want the 4TB though lol. Still over RM1500+ , geez.
PC Fair opened at 11 am, and I arrived at 11.30 am, but it was already so friggin crowded that you can barely walk, gah. The biggest promotion is P1 W1max’s new modem promotion called “Wiggy”.. huge promotion on that. It’s like every inch you turn, a wiggy promoter will bug you about their new modem. To me, even though they promise 10mb connection, if there’s a fair usage policy, with only 10GB quota, fuck no man. I’m sticking with Screamyx…shitty as it is, at least it won’t throttle my bandwidth cuz it has no quota. The speed just…suck.
But I did get to eat Yoshinoya! Fucking cheap promotion, RM7.90 for a bowl of beef rice, a bowl of miso soup and small chawanmushi. But what the hell, they’ve turned stingy on chawanmushi! It’s only a couple of spooful now, it’s so little, and it only has like a piece of mushroom and that’s it! No crab no fish no nothing..! Wtf.
Anyways, on Saturday…I had pre-production meeting until 1 am…wahhh T____T It’s all cool though.
Anyways, I’m like procrastinating now when I have so much to do. lol. I should get back to work. I wanna go home and backup more stuff. At least my lappy is no longer running out of diskspace, yay!
I received an email from college about the final presentation. Alright. Technically, my internship ends on the 19th. I thought I would be given a few days to prepare documents but guess what? My final presentation is on the fucking 21st! So I only have one day… ONE DAY to get everything prepared —- my report printed and binded, my own name card printed (wtf??? Why do they want a name card???) and also get my supervisor to write me a testimonial letter and my report …. plus my own report on my internship… gathering portfolio and burning them into CD.I have a headache now.
Oh I forgot to mention I’ll be the FIRST TO PRESENT AT 9.30AM??? So I have to be at college and hour before.. which means 8.30 am.. no time to prepare myself or to calm my nerves.
Then again I only have 2 weeks left for internship.. I”m sad and I’m happy. I’m sad because I won’t get to experience more in the industry and I have to get back to the boring life of college and assignment and shits like that.. I also won’t get to see famous celebrities! …. but I’m happy cuz then I’ll get some more free time when I can do personal stuff, and NO MORE ENDURING MASSIVE TRAFFIC JAM AT THE LDP HIGHWAY! Oh thank god.
It’s true working in the production line will definitely suck ALL of your energy out.. and I can say this (near) 3 months, I am now energy-less, and been having migraine and spinning headache since the past 3 days. Oh not to mention the stress and also the long and odd working hours. But overall, it’s been very fun and interesting.
Today Fizow Omar came to the office… he’s a model maybe..or actor? was in Hero Remaja competition.. I’m not sure…he’s so fucking hot in person. Hot body, hot face.. here’s a pic of him from his friendster with the very famous actress Erra Fazira…
God he has this built, tough body that’s just sooooooo hot…. and to have him just sitting opposite of me makes me all ‘giggly’ inside (i’m trying to use PG -rated words here).

Alright, I was upset on Monday but then H kept calling me trying to cheer me up so I was cheered a bit.. not for long but on Tuesday I was all cheered up.. why? Because it was PAYDAY. Woot. And also it was a farewell party for Linda and Yaya. We had KFC so you know fattening junk food always cheer me up. It was not really a party though.. we had around an hour of meeting before that, and it was EXCRUCIATING. Why? Because food arrived during the meeting, and because the meeting got dragged long, and then plus some speeches from the boss and Linda and Yaya, the smell of KFC’s chicken was too much for us.. we even suggested to eat during the meeting huhu.
Before the meeting, earlier afternoon, they had some interview and photoshoot so their story will be published in the newspaper probably next week? It was frustrating because why? I didn’t know and I didn’t ‘steal’ the Kaki Robot Club T-Shirt from the other office so I couldn’t be in the shoot lol.. if not I’d be in newspaper next week even though I know nothing on Kaki Robot Club haha. Oh well.
Anyways, some personal problems was solved yesterday so I’m quite happy, except now I have this stupid headache. Oh also, on Monday, my colleague was watching a movie on cable tv called “WILD HOGS” and I showed the trailer to H and he was laughing his arse off, so I downloaded the movie. I’ve watched half of it and so far it’s fucking HILARIOUS.

So then the guys were the first one to grabs the chickens. I only had 2 pieces, the 2nd one being like one of the biggest pieces, and some coleslaw.. somehow I didn’t take the mashed potato and the fries o.O; But yeah, even though I had only 2 pieces I was the very last one to finish eating.. they were all making fun of me, saying I ate like 5 pieces lol I think the guys ate like 3-5 pieces of chicken each.
And they were all eating in front of the tv… hehe
Alright have to eat lunch now so I’m gonna stop blogging now.
