Lose Big Programme

Posted by Tany | Celebrity, Daily Life, Internet & Technology, Photos, Random | Saturday 6 March 2010 3:57 pm

This was supposed to be written a week ago. Okay so last week, when I came back from Ipoh on Wednesday (February 24th), I had an invitation to go to this lose big programme designed by Dave Nuku, Biggest Loser Asia’s blue team trainer. I’m a huge Biggest Loser Asia fan (as well as the US version) and also Dave Nuku’s fan. Not because he’s hot (lol) but he’s very caring, gentle and supportive in the show. So of course, when I got an invitation to meet Dave in person, I would not waste it.

It was held at e@Curve (formerly cineleisure) and I arrived at 7 pm and had to wait for roughly 30-40 minutes there until everyone was there. When I arrived there was already a lot of people waiting and those who got the table at the front there will get to mingle with Dave and take pictures. I wanted to do that but he was so busy. After that we were all asked to go into the cinema, where he would give the talk. Oh and I also met this lady who was very talkative, so I wasn’t really alone and looking all dumb. Hehe.

I was surprised that Ally Iskandar was hosting the event. He’s the famous TV3 (local station) host. He’s a funny guy. After a few talks, then Dave gave a really interesting (and he’s hilarious) talk about how to lose weight and get motivated to do so. Then another surprise guest appeared — SYANIE! Okay, she’s this famous Malaysian comedian artist who is morbidly obese. Last year she surprised everyone when she decided to do the gastric bypass surgery. And to date, she has surprisingly lost 60KG!  Wow. When she appeared, she looked a lot thinner than healthier than she was before. She’s also joining this programme. Of course, her being an artist, and obviously now ambassador for this programme, she’s getting in for free I assume. Even if she’s not, she could so afford it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. It cost RM3600+ for this 13 weeks structured programme to lose weight.. well Rm1000 less if you register that night. If I was morbidly obese and didn’t get through the audition for Biggest Loser Asia, then I might consider this but I’m not morbidly obese.. I’m not even obese.. I’m still in the normal range, just out of shape lol.

Though, having a trainer, in this 13 weeks programme along with other fat people with the same motivation is good. I just need upper body strength to tone my arms and chest… I’d need something like this dip station… I need to stop being lazy and go to the gym once my face is healed.

Before my phone’s battery died completely I managed to snap this picture of the 3 of them (Mr Shawn (sp?), Syanie and Dave) having a chat together. I didn’t register for the programme but I did get a (useless) goodie bag by Fitness First. I got a deodorant for MALE. Geez. Deodorant would be useful but it’s for male >.> Either the girl mistakenly gave me the male bag or they only have male deodorant to give away. Oh well. At least I had a delicious mini bruschetta-like snack and 2 bottles of free mineral water lol.

And I got this too : -

A picture with Dave! I look fat. The girl didn’t know how to use my phone camera to take a picture.. this is the 3rd picture and the only clear picture.

Oh and the next day was my birthday! haha. Didn’t have a good birthday but I did get some wishes in facebook. :) Ok, now.. next blog!

Windows 7 is t3h s3x

Posted by Tany | College, Daily Life, Games, Health & Beauty, Internet & Technology, Random | Friday 6 November 2009 7:32 am

I INSTALLED WINDOWS 7 O_O

Omg I installed an OS dammit, something I never thought I could do. I was scared shitless that I would screw up everything and thus render my PC unusable but thank God everything worked out fine :D So I decided to install Windows 7 Ultimate because once I saw the GUI in youtube video, and how people keep talking about how good and how fast it is, and much better than Vista that was an epic fail, I decided I’m going to install it. I DESPISE Windows XP. I guess I’ve been using the same ‘windows’ typical look since Windows 95, and that I’m used to Vista and all the glassy aero look.

I can say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Windows 7 :D It’s much faster and less buggier than Windows Vista, so far. Love the simple clean look, the taskbar where they’re only (grouped) icons, the changing desktop themes.. everything. If you’ve been wondering whether to update to Windows 7 from XP or Vista, I’d say DO IT. Definitely. I did a clean install cuz I don’t want any trace of Windows XP in my HDD. At first I thought I wanted a dual boot, but nah.. Not going back to XP. Plus I have way too many junks, I want to get rid of them and start fresh. I did backup my stuff. Now, thing is.. there are some things that I forgot to backup like my Photoshop & After Effects plugins/brushes, my yahoo chat.. and I was like FUCK. But turns out Windows 7 moved all my old stuff in a new folder, so I didn’t lose anything.. ain’t that great? So happy about that.

Now I have to reinstall all my stuff again.. including some of my games @_@ Which is gonna be a pain in the ass, cuz they take really long to install. And another thing, I partitioned my own drive :D Ahh technology.. before when you need to partition your drive, you have to go to DOS and do it manually, etc and it was very complicated.. now it’s all so easy. I’m actually proud of myself for not screwing up anything this time.

Speaking of screwing up, I screwed up my PR exam yesterday. OMG it was SO HARD. I couldn’t even think properly. Everything that I read, I can’t remember any! So I just wrote whatever shit I can think off, hopefully that, and the multiple choice questions plus assignments would be enough for me to pass.. I can’t hope for an A now, I’m very sad. I would not get over this for a long time.

I tested Second Life in Windows 7… ahh, I forgot how beautiful and tranquil some places in Second life can be… I haven’t logged on for like a year? Almost? It used to be my getaway place when I need to relax, or just temporary forget my real life problems… I used to love to go to a forest or a park or the beach in there, listen to the soft music, nature sounds.. crackling of camp fire, and just stare at the screen for a while. Believe it or not, it helped me to relax and forget my problems. If not, club hopping and just listen to the good music. And if you meet some good people, you can have a good conversation with them. Plus, it’s good for photography.. I love taking snapshots of beautiful places in SL. In December, I’m gonna make my return in SL. If i can’t get real life vacation after graduation showcase is over, I’m vacationing in SL.

I have more to blog but I’ll do it later today. I’m gonna reinstall some stuff now before I have to go to college. God now my final project is giving me a headache. And I can’t find my Microsoft Office 2007 installation file, so I can’t do my pre production stuff for my final project. This is stressing me out. I’m getting stress zits.. and I can’t stand this bad breakouts. I’ve tried a lot of different acne treatments but at last, I go back to wanting the stupid accutane which screws up the menstrual cycle, my mood.. but hey, I’d have a clean, non-oily, zit-less face!

Result

I have a lot of things to blog about but I’ll try to write them this weekend. First of all, I wanna blog about yesterday.

Yesterday was interesting. I had class in the morning, then a shoot after that with Alison and her bf.. which went okay except that all of us got bitten like mad by mosquitoes. I felt bad they had to be tortured like that so I treated them McD. Then came back to college for meeting. The graduation meeting is starting to feel like the old student leader meeting, where there’d have unexpected meeting one day and only inform everyone the night before which would ruin whatever plan you have on that day. Urgh. But…! I got my result! YAY!

Research Methodology –  A
Short Film Workshop –  A-
Video Editing –  A
Video Production 2 –  C+
Media Studies –  A

GPA: 3.61

—————————————-

OMG. I’m so fricken happy that my GPA is still above 3.5. The stupid Video Production 2 ruins it, but then again I’m quite surprised it was C+ considering everything was extremely fucked for that subject, all the problems with documentary and an embarrassing final presentation so C+ is acceptable. I got scared that I might get low because one guy has to resit for that subject and his final project was good. I thought I might get D or something. So far, no D ever in my subjects.

I’m also surprised at the rest. Ok, Research… It was a quite a tough subject. Then one of the guest assessor said my report was incomplete (and said that to everyone too) and would not give good marks for it.. then video editing.. well, it was an easy subject.. except the final presentation day where my group was late to present, my external HDD died so we couldn’t present normally like the rest of the groups. I thought the fuckups would affect the grade. Media Studies – wow.. it was a tough subject. The last presentation was nerve wrecking. The assignments were hard.

But overall I’m satisfied with my result. So I’m happy.

After the meeting I went to Low Yatt to survey DSi prices. If I just want the console, the cheapest I found was RM670 (USD$193) and the highest was around RM750 (USD$216) I think. If I want together with package.. where this is hard since each store is different, the cheapest is RM750, and the highest was like RM850 or almost RM900 (USD300). Still fricken expensive. BUT, this one store let me test it, and I played some games on it… omg, now I so badly want it.

You see, I thought DSi had just minor upgrade. But once you hold it, you can totally feel the difference. The surface is of course no longer smooth. The matte black has rough surface, and the white feel a bit smoother. I’m starting to think it’s good, because the DS lite tends to slide off my hands quite a number of times before. It’s thinner and a bit bigger, buttons feel different now, not protruding like DS Lite. And the screen.. argh, it felt so different. I thought o.25 inc bigger is not much of a deal but you can really feel the difference. Contra looked so good on it. Camera was eh… so-so. It’s the quality of a webcam but still quite ok. Ugly colors though. I still love metallic rose on DS Lite, but I could still live with a black DSi. White looks good too but it will get dirty. Blue – yuck. Pink hurts my eyes.

They offer either R4i, R4i Gold or R4i Pocket. I want Acekard 2i but I have to add Rm20 – Rm40 extra, wtf. If I buy online it’s only like Rm40-ish after converting currency. I think I’m gonna buy it anyway and then buy Acekard 2i online. Hopefully I can get it next week.  I still need to survey Sungei Wang and Imbi Plaza first. Oh! PS2 slim is cheap nowadays.. I think I’m gonna get it after this semester is done. It’s around RM470 (USD$135) now. When I bought it, it was RM1500 (USD$432) for a modified bulky PS2. So I’m gonna wait a bit until I can go back to Ipoh and sell the old bulky non-working PS2. I miss playing PS2 games.. at least I can play it for a while until I can get money for Nintendo Wii.. the fricken awesome black Wii! Oh half modified PSP 3000 is cheaper than Dsi, lol. It’s like RM 600-ish.

After that I had an interesting situation with scammers. FUCKING SCAMMERS. I’ll write about it later in a new post. Oh yeah, in need of a tuxedo vest? Formaltux.com is having discounts now, so if you need a tux for occasions, now it’s the best time.

ndsl or ndsi?

Posted by Tany | Daily Life, Games, Internet & Technology, Random | Monday 28 September 2009 3:59 pm

Yesterday I went to a place here in Ipoh where they sell all electronics stuff… well of course can’t compare to Low Yatt or Digital Mall in KL but it’s the best we can get. I was surveying the price of nintendo ds lite and dsi. Good thing is, NDSL has gone cheaper. I can get the whole package like I did (R4, 2GB memory card, screen protector and crystal casing) for roughly RM520 instead of RM700 that I got last year.. well I had pouch thrown in. If I just want the console, the cheapest I see is about RM440.

However, NDSi is fucking expensive here. If I want the console + R4i + screen protector + 2GB memory card with games = Rm8xx! Almost a fricken RM900! Crazy. Well it’s almost the same if I imported from Play-Asia without all other stuff.. but oh man that’s expensive. I have someone from Low Yatt forum to suggest me the lowest price possible.. he listed as DSi RM 6xx.. which is quite ok, however it’s just the console. If that’s the case, I can get flashcart online.. just around USD$13 which is way cheaper instead of buying it here but I’m risking myself. If the product is spoiled, then I’m screwed.

I still don’t know what to get. If I get the same NDSL as my old one, I can still play my Guitar Hero… no worries about new firmware update that will brick the flashcart due to their anti piracy protection… and it’s cheaper now so I can save money. And there’s no other color that I love other than metallic rose.

However, with DSi, I have extra camera feature.. which is not a big thing but it’s a nice add on where you can upload pic directly to facebook.. download dsiware… FLIPBOOK.. omg that’s like the coolest DSi application.. no rebooting when changing cartridge, but it’s more expensive.. plain color, but it’s okay, I can just pimp it up with stickers.  No more guitar hero. And new firmware will keep bricking flashcart.. argh.

I saw Promotional flash drive, but not for portable external HDD… I’m finding it extremely difficult to carry my huge non portable external HDD back Ipoh, and can’t take it anywhere. I want 500Gb :\ PC fair is like couple of months away x.x Well it’s okay, that gives me time to save money.

EDIT: After watching a couple of DSi unboxing videos on youtube and looking at the reviews, I have made up my mind, I’m getting a DSi. I don’t care, I want a DSi.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY NINTENDO DS LITE
October 2008 – September 2009

If you haven’t been following my facebook updates, I have unfortunately lost my baby, my lovely metallic rose  ndsl that I bought last year. I have been extremely upset and depressed, still am, but I have to pretend I’m okay so mom won’t get worried like she did on the day I lost my ndsl. I lost my ds console, 2×4GB and 1×2GB microSHDC cards (one I just bought last month at pc fair x.x) and 2 card readers, a mario stylus, extra stylus … and probably original guitar hero on tour game cartridge cuz I can’t remember if it’s in there or not… but it’s useless unless you have the guitar controller which is with me.

Now I don’t know how I lost it. It wasn’t in my bag after I got back from shopping, and I”m guessing that someone stole it from my bag during the crazy handbag sale.. which I bought like fricken 8 of them… maybe it’s my punishment from God for being so greedy but I can’t help it.. they were dirt cheap. I am however thankful that I didn’t lose my wallet which would create chaos with all my cards in there… or my phone.

I was so devastated, that I didn’t feel like being in Ipoh anymore.. I wanted to go back to KL. Everytime I’m in Ipoh, I’d lose something of my properties. I hate Ipoh now. Too much bad memories. But then I was thinking.. at least I lost my NDS, which is replaceable.. what if I lose someone? Since I keep hearing about road accidents that claimed lives.. or my laptop, which I definitely can’t afford a new one.

Speaking of road accidents.. omg, my journey back last Thursday was hell. Not only I had to drive for 4 hours instead of 1 1/2 hours, I had to drive under extremely heavy rain all the way with extremely limited visibility. All I could see was the emergency lights that blink on SOME cars driving at 30-40 kmph.. Imagine that, 40 kmph on a highway. If I didn’t step it up, it would’ve taken 6-8 hours to reach Ipoh… even driving to Singapore takes 5.5 hours x.x Then of course the massive traffic jam because people starting to drive back to hometown. Gah, hell.

I had a freakish dream today that someone stole my laptop. Even in dream I could feel the fear, the sadness and all that shit. Laptop is replaceable too, but it’s not a matter of replacing what can be replaced, it’s about losing what CAN’T be replaced.. like photos and videos of yourself and have some strangers look at them.

Anyways, I’m definitely replacing my NDSL. Mom is helping me because she felt sorry for me. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love my ds, and how I care for it, and how obsessed I am with it. Thing is, now I don’t know if I should get the same metallic rose NDSL again which should be cheaper now or get NDSi instead which cost about the same as I first bought my lost NDSL. I have to do research again T___T I don’t really care about camera and all that crap.. but I really love the feature where you don’t have to turn off your ds to switch card, which is extremely convenient. But it would render my guitar hero controller absolutely useless, and no more guitar hero.

And it might take a while for me to get my new ds even though I can afford one now. Oh what would I do during boring hours when I don’t have ds with me??

Sucks to be me.

Anyways, SELAMAT HARI RAYA, or HAPPY EID MUBARAK.

Slingbox

Posted by Tany | Internet & Technology, Random | Thursday 27 August 2009 5:54 pm

Wow have you heard of a Slingbox? It sounds so cool, where you can watch your channels from your tv anywhere, if I understood correctly. I’m still a little bit confused on how it works, but from the description that you can watch your tv channels anywhere using like your laptop or even your phone. That sounds neat. I want one something like that. If only Malaysia has something like that, but then again, if it’s in Malaysia, it would cost a fortune. But the idea of portability of watching tv channels is cool.

If only I have all the money in the world to buy all these cool gadgets.

Dave Lehre / My Updates

Posted by Tany | Celebrity, Daily Life, Internet & Technology, Internship, Shopping, Videos & YouTube | Monday 13 April 2009 6:36 pm

So, a few posts back, I wrote about TURBO: The movie starring Dave Lehre, the guy that is my inspiration when it comes to the filmmaking and editing world and last week I checked my myspace and I was surprised to see I got a message from him :) Apparently, he somehow saw my blog and my post about his movie so he was sending me a message letting me know and saying his thanks… awwww thanks Dave! :) You rock.

I still can’t wait to see TURBO: The movie.

I’d like to post another short movie starring Dave Lehre, directed by Michael and Daniel Carberry. Now, if you’re just a watching this, you’d be like WTF? Now if you’re a film student, or like to go in depth with the technical stuff, now this is a very good short film. I just love the cinematography. The angles are good, the lighting gives the mysterious, dark mood as we listen to the character hear his own conscience and struggles with his addiction with pills. Dave did a great job portraying an addict. Makes you feel you, too, is going crazy in a very claustrophobic room.

Bah to see young filmmakers do good films really depresses me. I’m pathetic.

Other than that, work has been very interesting. I saw them testing the robot costume for the movie. It’s still very private and confidential so I can’t leak any photos lol. Hmmm what else… well for the past one week, I’ve been going home very late. Last Friday my colleague was on tv, and yesterday they were in the newspaper… which would’ve included me had I wore the damn shirt.

Last Thursday Andre suddenly requested me to do production booklet for the pre production meeting.. so I was like rushing and stuff. There was A LOT to compile and type. And funny coincidence, we saw a singer on tv who has the EXACT hair that Andre has, so we’ve been calling him “Tomok” cuz that’s the artist’s name.. but since he, too, is my Japanese language buddy, so he prefers to be called “Tomogo”, the male version of the name ‘Tomoko’.

PC Fair started on FRIDAY! I went in the morning, lol. Was rushing and all. There was an offer for HDD for REALLY cheap (Rm299!) for 1 TB but only for the first 50, and how unfortunate that before that I went to the bank to withdraw money and fucking ATM machine ate my card! So I could have gotten the HD for extra 40 bucks for RM339 (still cheaper than other booths) but I decided that I don’t like the design. It’s quite light so when my cat goes crazy, they can easily bumps into the HD and it could easily slide off the table.

So I decided to get 2 x 500GB Maxtor OneTouch 4 HD at RM199 each (still in the first 50 people promotion)…so it’s RM398, which technically almost the same price as Western Digital’s 1TB My Book Home edition at RM399. However, after reading lots of comments about HD failing after a short while, I got scared. That’s why I decided to get 2×500Gb, so in case one fails, I have the other. I’ll wait until PC Fair in August. By then, the 2TB HD would probably become cheaper (PC Fair offer was RM888! O___O) ..I want the 4TB though lol. Still over RM1500+ , geez.

PC Fair opened at 11 am, and I arrived at 11.30 am, but it was already so friggin crowded that you can barely walk, gah. The biggest promotion is P1 W1max’s new modem promotion called “Wiggy”.. huge promotion on that. It’s like every inch you turn, a wiggy promoter will bug you about their new modem. To me, even though they promise 10mb connection, if there’s a fair usage policy, with only 10GB quota, fuck no man. I’m sticking with Screamyx…shitty as it is, at least it won’t throttle my bandwidth cuz it has no quota. The speed just…suck.

But I did get to eat Yoshinoya! :D Fucking cheap promotion, RM7.90 for a bowl of beef rice, a bowl of miso soup and small chawanmushi. But what the hell, they’ve turned stingy on chawanmushi! It’s only a couple of spooful now, it’s so little, and it only has like a piece of mushroom and that’s it! No crab no fish no nothing..! Wtf.

Anyways, on Saturday…I had pre-production meeting until 1 am…wahhh T____T It’s all cool though.

Anyways, I’m like procrastinating now when I have so much to do. lol. I should get back to work. I wanna go home and backup more stuff. At least my lappy is no longer running out of diskspace, yay!

Random Updates

Posted by Tany | Daily Life, Internet & Technology, Internship, Movies & DVD | Sunday 22 March 2009 3:27 am

Well, I can’t sleep. Went to bed at 9pm something and woke up at 12 am. It’s 2.30 am now, I was chatting on the phone with someone who surprised me with a call at 1 am until his credit ran out so now I’m bored. So now I’m gonna blog.

So what’s the news…hm… my ex is back to single *insert random emotion*. He also just bought a new laptop but since I have a laptop too, I’m not jealous.

Yesterday at work, there was a meeting the whole morning/afternoon. We have LOADS of new task, and I have to learn and sort of master basic 3D animation so I can do some logo within this week. Well, both of the bosses are gone to Hong Kong if I’m not mistaken so freedom in the office :P But everyone has shitloads to do so it’s not really enjoyable freedom. After eating lunch in the office (food was delicious today btw) some of us watched DVD since the other office has dvd player and plasma tv. They watched Chocolate again and after we watched Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was fucking hilarious. We all couldn’t stop laughing.. After movie is done, I chatted a bit with the Indonesian helper, then went back at around 3 pm, picked up mom, and wanted to go to Ikea but all parking entrance has been blocked… I hate weekends. So we went to some furniture store instead… got my car washed and vacuumed then went to eat at a restaurant.

I also bought a new 4-in-1 DVD: Creepshow 1,2,3 and Pan’s Labyrinth. FINALLY I GOT CREEPSHOW DVD. Omg I’ve been wanting it for so long, been trying to download it for so long.. and finally I watched it on youtube last week but it was in low quality.. so I’m happy I got the DVD. Then I went to Digital Mall but couldn’t find tutorial DVD for 3Ds Max, so I bought a tutorial for Maya. Still have to go to Summit tomorrow, bleh.I saw 2 TB dual external hardisk… (1TB+1TB)… wtf, I’m still planning to buy the 1TB once I get my allowance, they’ve come out with 2TB now?? It’s RM899 though.. almost the same if I buy two 1TB hardisk. I wonder if they’re gonna make 1TB PORTABLE hardisk.. can’t wait for PC fair on 10th-12th April. I saw saw some people buying wii and Wii accessories… i want a Wii :(

Friday at work was very interesting. In the morning, I got a call from my supervisor asking me to burn the DVD of this marketing video I made so I went to the other office, burned a few DVD and suddenly my boss asked me if I’d like to join him to see a client.. OF COURSE. So I did. First time I was in my boss’ bmw o.O; Hate massive traffic jam.. we got stuck, so my boss thought, hey.. why not we just walk to the office…? So we did. With me in heels. And was in pain. Like majorly as we searched for the office… So we met a client, who is a German guy.. I was just observing XD And I get to know quite a lot about movie, the international market and things like that. Then we went to lunch together, joined by the German guy and Swedish guy. Thing with foreigners is that, they’re not intimidating. They’re more relaxed and laid back. So I rather pitch ideas or whatever to a foreigner rather than local..

After then went back to office.. joined for a meeting, then just relaxed there until 9 pm.. I just wanted the free dinner lol I love Mr Zai. He’s awesome. He’s serious looking when it comes to work but he’s actually a funny guy.. he’s like my food buddy.. whenever food arrives in the other office, he’d call me or give me a sign and we’d be the first to grab it without shame lol After dinner, I stayed for a bit until this very famous Malaysian actor came. I’m wondering, twice I wasn’t at the office, they ordered Canadian Pizza, and I missed it :( So now I”m craving it.. haven’t tasted Canadian 2 for1 Pizza yet (http://canadianpizza.com.my)

Anyways, it’s 3 am now.. so I’m gonna watch the rest of Creepshow while playing my Nintendo DS… I miss my DS! Been too busy to play it. So now since Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is out, I’m back to playing it :D Also playing Cookie Shop and Burger Island lol.

Laptop Goes Bye for a While

Posted by Tany | Daily Life, Food, Internet & Technology | Tuesday 18 November 2008 12:32 am

I miss my laptop already.

I sent my laptop to times square today. I decided not to go to the headquarter because

1) I don’t know the way and I’ll get lost
2) Still far, same as times square
3) Subang Jaya is the ‘grandpa’ of hellish traffic jams

So I decided to go to times square, I know the way there by heart and it’s easier. I spent whole morning backing up my important stuff, and my external hard drive is full now. Now just hope that my external drive don’t die on me, god forbid. I think I’ve backed up almost everything that’s important….

So i went there, went up to 9th floor, and took  a number.. each person takes quite a while with their problem x.x Finally when it was my turn, I got this malay guy, and I began explaining my problem. Luckily I’m still under warranty until next month but I asked about extending warranty for extra 2 years, and I’d need RM298 for it.. I’m still considering it. Where to dig up money though…hmm

That guy opened the bottom of my laptop and I see my fan is sorta discolored.. I guess it’s from the heat. The guy said I should turn on laptop for maximum 5 hours and then shut it off and I was like whaaaaa’? I didn’t know that! I usually turn it on for DAYS..no wait, I never turn it off..maybe like once in a week or so… ack. I’m shocked my laptop have not died yet because of that, thank god.

So my laptop will be ready in 3 – 5 days, hmm sooner than expected.. latest would be next week. I hope not next week. Too long. Hope not like my main comp, where it took them 2 fucking month, wtf. After that mom and I just walked and walked in the mall.. hate walking in a huge mall wearing heels lol. We got Viena Bagels and I think mom and I finished half of the plates they put out for testing haha.. damn the bagels are SO DAMN GOOD. Better than Dunkin Donuts or Big Apple but quite expensive..but hey, H told me to spend his money on food and I did :P

Then we had subway sandwich..finally :D! Been so long. I need to do something now.. I hate sitting in this chair, blah. I miss surfing the web lying down on the bed…

PS: I just paid my domain registration (not hosting), and I had forgotten that I have USD$10 in my hosting account left..which is the balance from some amount Aaron gave me long ago.. yay I didn’t have to spend my money ^^ lol.

Laptop

Posted by Tany | Daily Life, Internet & Technology, Random | Monday 17 November 2008 1:30 am

This one week sucked. I spent doing nothing but sleep during the daytime and awake during the night.

I’ve done nothing to lose my weight. I haven’t even cleaned my room as planned. But mostly weight loss. I don’t want to go back to Ipoh and H see me as super fat after 10 months, lol. I’ve never been this fat when I was around him before or his cousin. Talked to his cousin B on the phone few days ago.. it’s been a while.. he sounded all grown up! lol. No money to get diet pill, plus not even sure if it’ll work. Speaking of money, H called me earlier confirming that RM50 will be sent to me tomorrow, yay. Another DotA tournament that is.. hehe. Not much though but it helps. I feel bad cuz I just found out how much he has to spend investing on his new tuition centre every month, and how tight he is on money, but yet he still wanted to send me some to help, if he has extra that is.

I have to send my laptop for repair tomorrow, so tonight I have to backup all my stuff. Not sure where to put 200GB worth of stuff…. H was suggesting external HD, he even offered to help with some of the money, but he didn’t know they’re damn expensive. If only I have RM500-RM600 right now, I’d get 1TB external hard drive… I want one badly.

Yesterday, Aaron took a pic of DS Lite skin sticker he bought for me, kawaii!

Okay, gotta back up my laptop now. I hope it’ll be fixed before I have to go back to Ipoh. I’m gonna miss my laptop :( But it’s better to get this damn DVD drive fixed before the warranty expires… wait, I think it still has warranty… it better!
