Reminiscing 2011 Part 1

Wow this is so gonna be a long entry. I’m gonna try to remember any memorable events or things that happened this whole year because honestly I feel that this year went by so friggin fast. It was like within a blink of my eyes. Also a lot of things happened that I didn’t blog about so I’m hoping this would sort of summarize my year as well as preserving any events that happened this year. Yes, I do check back old blog posts for memory sake.

I think I will separate this blog into a few parts. The year started out pretty good.. was hoping this would be my awesome year.. failed at that. At least I had an okay start compared to an extremely disastrous ending for year 2010. Okay, let’s start!

I just wrote a long blog post and guess what? It posted BLANK! i don’t know how the hell it ended up blank.. so screw this. I’m too tired to reblog so I’ll write it later.

And the weird thing is that, the autosave didn’t even save it either. WTF.

I wanted to post this part two last week but so much things happening that I had to delay.

I didn’t wanna go on the last day of MSAM but I wanted to register for something so I had to and went in the morning. I met with the people I promised to meet and I just sat there from 1 pm till 2.30 pm just chatting. They blocked one side of the road already since the deputy prime minister and education minister, Tan Sri Dato’Haji Muhyiddin Yassin will be coming for the closing.

The Royal Wedding 2011: Prince William & Kate Middleton

THE LIVE & REAL FAIRYTALE…..

That’s what I thought of it.

 

 

I didn’t care much before this but of course I didn’t wanna miss the wedding yesterday. I did however miss the after-wedding stuff. I only watched the part in the church and after that, because of all the ‘talk’ and the choir that sounded like a lullaby, I couldn’t keep my eyes opened anymore so I fell asleep only to wake up at 11 pm, exactly the time they finished broadcasting.

It was a traditional wedding.. boring but beautiful.

 

 

Kate was very simple. Her wedding gown was very simple to my surprise. Her hairdo was simple, her makeup was simple, everything was simple.. because you know, other celebrities had it grand. This wedding was very traditional.

 

 

I don’t know why but the wedding almost made me teary-eyed! Actually some of my friends in twitter also said the same thing – they cried. I guess I felt happy for Kate for having her own fairytale happening.

 

 

One thing that annoyed me the most – WHAT’S UP WITH PRINCE WILLIAM’S HEAD?!?!

Seriously. He used to be sooooo handsome, soooo hot… but now why is he BALDING?! He’s only 29 :( It annoys me to death… some people were making fun of it on twitter – saying he should use a hair treatment program. But seriously, he was the man of every girl’s dream. He was a very cute kid who grew into a handsome man… but now he looks very old due to the bald patch on his head :(

But Kate’s dress was so tight that she looks very skinny. I’m so jealous :(

 

 

It’s a pity that the late Lady Di didn’t get to witness her first son’s wedding. I still adore her. She was one of the most beautiful women of all time. It’s so sad that she had to go early.

 

 

I didn’t stay for the kiss but I did watch the clip on youtube. Awwwwwww. So sweet! But it was a very short kiss, not passionate one. Maybe they were shy :P *sighs* Kate Middleton is the luckiest girl in the world seeing that she was not from a royal family but married the popular royal bachelor. Now, does Prince Harry has a gf??? Maybe I still stand a chance *chokes*… At the time I’m writing this, youtube is rebroadcasting the wedding.. not watching it because it was quite boring lol

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS PRINCE WILLIAM & KATE MIDDLETON, THE DUKE & DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE!

Can’t wait to hear the news of their first child :D

UPDATE: Read PART 2!

I have finally made posting blog much more easier now so expect old posts that I’ve been delaying coming up soon. More on this soon but right now I wanna talk about an event we had for the past 1 week here in Ipoh.

It is called “Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) 2011” that was held at Kompleks Sukan Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) from 20th April until 26th April 2011. In English, it’s an event involving stocks, mutual funds and everything relating to investments. The event was organized by “Permodalan Nasional Berhad’ or PNB. PNB is one of Malaysia’s leading asset managers.

This event was huge. It’s unfortunate that it lasted for only a week. I noticed they built the tent thing for more than 2 weeks… all that hard work for only a week’s worth of event. Wow. But it’s not all just about banks, investments and asset management. There were other exhibitors too including cars, government bodies, and other companies, even food.

This is PART 1. PART 2 will be up tomorrow I hope.
