Reminiscing 2011 Part 1

Wow this is so gonna be a long entry. I’m gonna try to remember any memorable events or things that happened this whole year because honestly I feel that this year went by so friggin fast. It was like within a blink of my eyes. Also a lot of things happened that I didn’t blog about so I’m hoping this would sort of summarize my year as well as preserving any events that happened this year. Yes, I do check back old blog posts for memory sake.
I think I will separate this blog into a few parts. The year started out pretty good.. was hoping this would be my awesome year.. failed at that. At least I had an okay start compared to an extremely disastrous ending for year 2010. Okay, let’s start!
To KL & Back Again

I went to KL yesterday.
It was a just a day trip but a damn tiring one. We planned to leave at 8 am but I had a very tiring Saturday so I ended up sleeping in the entire evening and woke up at 10 pm. I actually went to Tesco to shop at 11 pm and got home at almost 1 am. Haha.
We reached KL at almost 12 pm, then straight away went to bakery shops and bought lots of stuff – chocolates, cake mix, drinks etc. After having fun like a kid in a toy store, we went to Berjaya Times Square for lunch and reached there at almost 4 pm. Wow, I haven’t been there in ages because majority of things have changed especially the food court. It’s so much better now and the best thing is that it’s located on the lower ground floor instead of the lonely 10th floor. I had Japanese teriyaki chicken bento. Surprisingly they’re quite cheap. And you have to use a prepaid card to pay for the food.
It actually taste quite good too except I’ve had better chawanmushi before at Yoshinoya. I miss yoshinoya which is no longer available in Malaysia 
Their chawanmushi was damn good – they had mushroom and crabs but then they toned it down but the price remained which upsets me. Now they’re completely gone. Blah. This chawanmushi had only 4 small pieces of crab sticks, that’s it. Bit disappointed.
Anyways, then I went to ‘Low Yat Plaza‘ and FINALLY bought myself the laptop table I’ve always wanted. I think this is like the 4th or 5th table. It has low quality built but what the heck. I found exactly the one I wanted after a long search. I wonder how come they don’t have any tables in my city until I have to go to KL to search for it. I hope this one will last longer than the ones I had.
I also bought a new modem router because my old one finally died, I think. It’s a Belkin and they said I have a lifetime warranty but I’m not gonna claim the warranty because it’s pretty outdated. Now I have a better modem router (D-Link) and it’s cheaper than Belkin. It’s working fine now and I finally can use my streamyx again. Even though I had streamyx so much because it’s so slow, at least it doesn’t have limited bandwidth. Unlike my P1 Wimax, even though the speed is good, but I only have 30Gb bandwidth a month. I wanna play second life again.
So we finally left KL at 6.15pm and got stuck in traffic jam for a bit. That’s one thing I don’t miss about KL – the massive traffic jam. But luckily after a while I accidentally found the highway back to Ipoh so we didn’t get delayed and left for Ipoh. However my uncle thought we’d visit a relative – we got lost and spent over an hour to search for the place only to find out they were not at home. :\ I was already too tired and sleepy and I had to stop at 2 different rest stops to take a quick nap. Plus it was drizzling so it was like a perfect weather to sleep.
Well I finally reached my home at almost 12 am. Had to speed a bit otherwise I’d fall asleep in the car. I was really sleepy and tired and my right knee was hurting like hell. Thank God there was no scary experiences on the highway like the last time except a couple of minor ones in Kl where I almost drove my car to hit other car. My mistake.
I spent the entire day today sleeping wtf. I had to wake up at night to go to class but now it’s 4 am and I’m wide awake. Gah. Oh well.
Macaron oh Macaron!

I am in KL/PJ now. Haven’t been back here for months. Yesterday was hell because I drove from 8 am straight from my hometown in Ipoh to Melaka and reached at about 12 pm or so. It was the first time going long distance with my new Kia Forte car and boy, it was awesome compared to my tiny Kancil that served me loyally for 5+ years. The best thing was the ‘auto cruise’ feature that allows the car to move on itself without me having to keep my feet pressing the pedal. I didn’t think that feature is such a big deal but trust me, if you’re like me, it IS! I’m glad I chose Kia Forte 2.0 which has that feature. Because of that, my legs weren’t tired.
In Melaka, we visited my uncle’s friend, talked in her extreme hot house, then went cruising in Melaka. It was very tiring but I did get to buy lots of chocolate moulds! I went crazy. I can go back home and go crazy making chocolates. Then drove back to PJ and missed an exit and got stuck in massive traffic jam! I reached my apartment at 8 pm only to find out that there was no electricity and water, wtf. So had to find hotel room and luckily we found one

Ok, so it’s the current craze.. these sweet french cookie is so awesome! They got such nice ‘feet’ on the macaron.. I tried to make them but it was such an epic fail but I will not give up. Today I’m hunting for more.. I know cupcake chic sells them now so I’m gonna go crazy and buy them and get some cupcakes as well.
After that I’m gonna go to KLCC and hunt for some.. would be super expensive though. I have no time to go anywhere else though I’m probably gonna spend a long time at Kinokuniya. Then back to Ipoh. Alright gonna go get ready now.

I love these coke glass collections at McDonald’s!
Today the pink one starts. Last time when they had the hourglass looking coke glass I didn’t get to collect all, so now I’m gonna collect all even though my mom hates it, lol. Gonna get the pink one today and just two more and my collection will be complete. So far the purple and blue one looks nice, so I’m assuming the pink one would too.
Apart from this, the happy meal is giving out spongebob toys to kids
Which reminds me the psycho Japanese kids in the Japan commercial! HAHAHAHA! If you haven’t seen it, check it out!

Speaking of toys, you can get Easter toys for kids which are all so effing cute! I actually want one for myself.. because I love cute things.
Domino’s Chocolate Lava Cake!!

FINALLY!!
I tasted the chocolate lava cake from Domino’s..
I WENT TO CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!
It was soooooo good like I can’t even describe it. They did it perfectly. If you’re not good at cooking this kind of cake, then it won’t taste nice but this one arrived at my house still hot, and as soon as I scooped out for a bite, a whole lot of ‘chocolatey’ goodness just melted out of the cake like a volcano spitting out the lava. It was a delish! Plus Domino’s didn’t get stingy with the chocolate either.. so it was good
Okay, I wanted to blog about my trip but looks like it’s getting too late and I need to sleep. I’ll blog in the morning. Goodnight!

Hell’s Kitchen

This past week I’ve been watching season 4 of Hell’s Kitchen (uncensored version) on Youtube. You see, I’ve never watched Hell’s Kitchen. The reason is because no show is good when it’s censored. The best thing about Gordon Ramsay is that he’s an absolute potty mouth and his insults are very hilarious (unless it’s directed to you then it’s fricken scary). They’ve started showing Masterchef US and Junior Masterchef on TV now so I decided to look in youtube for Hell’s Kitchen’s clips and found some full season uploaded uncensored so yay.
It’s friggin addicting, that show. Watching Chef Gordon Ramsay shouting and insulting and swearing is hilarious. I’ve been pretty down since yesterday so watching this show sorta cheers me up a bit. I’ve also started playing the game in Nintendo DS that I had AGES ago but never really played it much. I get bored easily. It’s actually quite an okay game, if you don’t mind doing things repetitively over and over again.
Anyways, I’m starting back on my diet again. I need fat burning pills. I don’t think the yucky tasting herbs pill I’m taking is doing any good except making me want to puke. Where can i buy apidexin or anything similar? I need fat burning pills damnit. I’ve seriously fucked up my diet due to depression… And I can’t exercise much either because apparently lately my inhaler isn’t doing much in helping with my asthma attack. Maybe I need to see the doctor.
Back to Hell’s Kitchen season 5 now.. I love how they get a few people who has absolutely no potential to be a chef to cause ‘drama’ in the show (or any show) for rating and excitement.
I Am Fat

I need my pills I need my pills I need my pills… or I wish I’m sick and lose all my appetite.
I have gained 3… I repeat a fucking T-H-R-E-E KGS in the past 2 weeks. I am back to being fat. All that starvation for 4 months ended up in the drain. Wtf. I hate being depressed and having to console myself with food. So from today onwards I vow not to eat much anymore, or just drink, until I lose back all that kg. I hate myself. I hate that I have no control when it comes to food. Speaking of fat, LipoFuze is a fat burning pills. You can read lipofuze reviews for customers feedback.
Also tonight my cousins came, and I was feeling very generous that I treated them Domino’s Pizza. Ahhh.. haven’t had Domino’s in a long time. I’m happy that my cousin told me they’re opening a new branch nearby which means delivery to my area! I’m upset that pizza makes me balloon up real quick. Argh.
I’ll update this entry later with a picture.
Also I need to get started on my websites. I wanted to tonight but I’m feeling very sleepy right now it’s not funny. And I have chest pain, wtf. I was on a download frenzy last night. I downloaded like gigs of stuff – extremely hilarious Japanese shows, Ghost Hunters Halloween special, some lynda.com tutorials on CSS and dreamweaver, couple of movies and a Christmas music album (??????? wtf). I’m in Christmas mode already.

I wanted to write a quite depressing post but somehow I’m no longer in the mood for a depressing post. Oh yeah, I changed the font for the blog content to Tahoma.. so it looks a bit bigger..didn’t change the size though because it’ll look hideously big. I didn’t change the color because only black is suitable. Hopefully the text is readable now because it’s crystal clear to me… and I also can’t change anymore
I finally claimed my 1 dolla whopper!
1 dolla! (yes I always say ‘dollar’ in a ridiculously annoying accent)
You see, few days ago, out of the blue, Burger King decided to make their signature burger ‘Whopper‘ RM1. I was like WTF. I don’t eat at burger king because they’re so expensive. Ala carte whopper cost RM10..wtf. I could have a large meal set (burger, large drink and large fries) with that amount at McDonald’s. So when I heard it’s for RM1, I had to get it. Unfortunately at that time, it was 8.30 pm…so I was rushing and reached Burger King Ipoh at 9.30 pm.
Oh God. The wait was torture. There was only 2 staff, and this Indian lady was SOOOOO SLOW. I had to queue for 1/2 hour before it was my turn. Plus, it was drizzling and they turned the aircond so high that it was freezing cold (and I just took a shower, and my hair was still wet). I had the unfortunate slow row because the chinese lady in front of me wouldn’t stop asking like a billion questions repeatedly… she won’t shut up for a second until the Indian lady staff was confused, and couldn’t concentrate keying her order & payment. Geez. She was so annoyed and distracted that she stopped answering her repeated questions and the guy staff had to ‘entertain’ her. By that time I was SO PISSED. I wanted to shut her up badly. I mean, I haven’t eaten for a whole day…I was hungry… and she was stalling the time. Gosh, some people!
By the time it was my turn, I was so pissed. The Indian lady staff wasn’t even smiling to me so that makes me even more unhappy. Oh yeah, you see, when I arrived, there was a note that says WHOPPER IS SOLD OUT!
HOWEVER!
Due to an unexpected demand for the RM 1 whopper, they decided to give like a ‘coupon’ so you can still claim the whopper if you buy any food on that day. What they do is that they will stamp your receipt so you could claim it before 10th of October. So I had to buy an expensive set because I was starving and was too lazy to waste more time queuing up at the McD’s drive thru. I bought BK Xtra Long Cheese Supreme plus mozarella cheese sticks for a ridiculous price of (almost) RM20. That’s the cost of a super large set + chilli at Wendy’s!
Eh.
Taste so-so only They gave a medium set (to me it’s small) so the pineapple juice was so little.. taste nice though. But yeah, it didn’t taste incredible or anything. I wish I had gotten mushroom burger set instead. I miss McD’s prosperity burger now but surprisingly, I’m guessing because I bought 2 items.. or something that she gave me 2 stamps!
I didn’t know that means I can claim 2 burgers I wanted to claim yesterday but when I found out it’s actually two, and I couldn’t take one yesterday and one today, so I decided to get them today…so I binged today. I ate almost 1500 calories today just for burger only wtf. One week starvation mode will start tomorrow. But oh how nice it was to get 2 whoppers for only RM2… 2 dolla…2 dolla!
Wish all fast food outlets would do this kind of promotion.. Wendy’s used to do a buy 1 set meal get another one free.. or other free stuff like free frosty… now they suck. I still love Wendy’s though :\
