The same goes with the mouse. I’m used to using the magic mouse and its ‘magic’ scrolling thing, that I couldn’t remember to use the middle scroller thingy on normal 3 buttons mouse. I also keep ‘swiping’ the normal mouse to flip pages or go back… >.<

I love how clear the webcam is compared to my laptop’s. What amazes me is that it’s capable of lighting the background… what I mean is that you can see the stairs and my living room without any lights on at that area. It’s amazing to me because I’ve had a lot of webcams before and none could give lighting that far before unless that area is brightly lit.

So this past few days I’ve also been trying hard to add stuff to my imac so I can actually do something on it. I’m so happy that I’ve finally installed Adobe Suite CS5 So now I can edit pictures! And edit videos and mess around with premiere pro and after effects. I’m currently trying to make a test project with Second Life. It might take me longer this time because I haven’t been editing and doing motion graphics for quite a long time… I think a year! The last time was December 2009. I’ve also been looking around for cool tutorials to do and presets so I can save time by not keying everything manually hehe.

Oh yeah, iMovie is such a noob software it’s killing me! It has a few really cool Hollywood style preset trailers that you can easily add in movies and change the text, plus I love the storyboard style but gosh, I can’t do a thing there. It’s frustrating because I love the trailers! It’s like an instant trailer thing. And the music is epic too. I’m gonna experiment it once though..

And Adobe Soundbooth is an EPIC FAIL software. It doesn’t even have ‘reverse’ audio effect, wtf. I think that’s like the most basic thing! GAH. Another frustrating piece of dog crap.

If I had a HD cam I could do a lot of things. I have a lot of ideas flowing but can’t execute them. I’ve also taken interest in photography but I don’t have a camera. I want a Canon camera – an EOS camera maybe? At buy.com some are having a major discount @_@ But damn, the most expensive is like USD$12k… haha after conversion to Malaysian ringgit (RM36k) I could buy a local car already. Damn expensive camera.

I’m currently downloading like 20GB of stuff, wtf.

Oh and for the past 2 days, I had a throbbing toothache on my molar. I have a feeling I have a cavity. I should go to the dentist soon. I hate having problems. I have girl problem too.. not sure if my acne medicine is causing this or what.. but I should see a doctor soon. And my eyes.. I think something’s wrong with my eyes that keeps giving me headache. I should see an optometrist soon. And I have dermatologist appointment tomorrow.

Anyways, I wanna talk a bit on Second Life 2 viewer. The new viewer is out, and it looks as if you’re using Second Life in a browser. It’s so confusing compared to the old one and it’s not old computer friendly. My PC can’t handle it on ultra graphics.. it lags like hell, makes me wanna commit suicide.. however it runs fine on ultra setting on my laptop.. weird thing is that, my PC is 3 1/2 years old, and my laptop is 2 1/2 years except my laptop has better graphic card. I feel like upgrading my PC when I have money, which I don’t know when would that be….. T__T

I miss my Second Life.. I used to be happy with it.. I had friends, had weekly fun party.. generally had a good time. Now everyone’s gone, no one ever logs in anymore.. the island I hang out in seems abandoned. I could find new friends, do what I used to do which is club hopping.. you know, at least to cure my current loneliness at home.. because you know, I have one class a week, I don’t hang out with my friends as much as I used to anymore because everyone has things to do so I’ve been bored but my mom is anti-SL.. and if she ever see me playing it again she’d annoy the hell out of me. I was playing a sim-like game couple of weeks ago and when my mom saw it, she was like, “IS THAT SECOND LIFE?!”… Oh well.

Well I better go burn my files to CD before I forget. It’s almost 6.30 am. Then I’m going to browse SL for a bit before going to class.

I”m no longer completely broke lol. Thing is, I desperately need a 1TB external HD… like right now.. I was gonna wait until PC Fair which is in April but I desperately need one. I have GIGS of videos of my work-related that I can’t keep in my laptop cuz it’s running out of space… Another thing is that I need to pay for my domain. How extremely hard money come, and how extremely easy money go I also need MP3 players…

Last Wednesday, as in my birthday, I went to the night market with my colleagues and got home quite late… as in almost 9 pm and I was surprised that mom cooked something special for me.. glutinous rice (in Malay culture, glutinous rice is a food symbol of gratitude etc) and some other stuff, with special table setting… I was so touched that I nearly cried but I didn’t cuz I didn’t want to embarrass myself lol. Mom and I don’t get along a lot, we argue every single day…but that was the most special surprise she has done in like…ever… so I was really touched.

I have to get my stuff ready for midterm on Monday..blah :\ But I’m gonna go meet up with Skyler tonight so I’m happy. She said she got a haircut..I so need one. Oh btw, I FINALLY finished downloading and installing Adobe CS4 Master Collection! Fucking finally. I loooooooooove CS4.

Me and my colleague, a junior editing is like stressing out at our current task…we’re supposed to edit some biography type show for this legendary Malaysian artist…the thing is, with old people, plus legendary, they tend to be extremely fussy… they want this, they want that… so I’m kinda like stressed cuz I”m doing montage and graphics for it and I’m not sure if they’ll like any of it.

Yesterday we had a meeting at the other office all of a sudden at 5 pm… I thought it’s gonna be about the movie, but turned out it’s more like a counseling session.. haha.. and a get-to-know each other type of meeting.. because since our 2 offices are separated, we barely know each other from the other office. It was sooooo fricken funny. I won’t go in detail what happened but the meeting lasted until 8.30 pm with lots of weird, funny stuff happening. At least they gave us some ‘unhealthy’ snacks lol… “CHICKEDEES!” lol. If you’re Malaysian you’ll know what that is. But the guys took most of the snacks >.> lol.

I got home at 10.30 pm and ate my KFC and just..passed out. x.x I was soooo dead tired.

Anyways, the past few days has been extremely boring. Not helping that it’s been raining hard. Makes me all depressed and gloomy. Anyways nothing much happening on Friday. I spent my day trying to master After Effects.. but what the fuck is up with the internet connection for the past one week? It has been absolutely shit.. and I’m not the only one affected. I’m downloading at like what… less than 5 kbps? Shit.

After work on Friday I decided to go to The Summit in Subang Jaya cuz I wanted some AE tutorials DVD.. and my colleague says there’s no other place (and it’s cheaper and closer too) so I had no choice but to got to Summit… rah.. I was stuck in extremely bad traffic jam. I finally go to the place like almost an hour later, when it should’ve taken like what…15 minutes or less? Anyways.. wtf is up with the RM4 per entry parking? So that means if I wanna go there for 10 minutes, I have to pay RM4? Crazy.

Summit has got to be the most boring mall ever. It was soooo empty and I don’t know…gloomy? I hated it. But I did get 3 AE tutorials DVD (4 discs altogether) for like RM45.. fucking cheap. Other place would’ve cost RM60 (RM15x4). I wanted the whole Adobe CS4 Master Suite but it cost like RM48.. gah too expensive. I need CS4 version of everything I use (AE, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) and I would usually download it, but fucking net! GAH. This piss me off. I also saw a DVD with all 3 “CREEPSHOW” movies that I’ve been wanting for so long but didn’t have any money

I used to think it’d be cool to go to college just next to a mall, cuz my college’s Subang Jaya branch is next to Summit..but after seeing Summit, I take that back. That mall sucks. But it’s cool when you want pirated softwares and movies.. or slutty looking clothes.

My birthday is in 2 days!

Haha I just saw Kal Penn in “24″ ad… weird to see him in serious action series when I’ve seen him in Harold & Kumar lol.

Saturday.. well barely anyone was in the office so I was bored to death, learning AE with fucky net. I stayed until almost 6 pm when it was thundering nonstop.. afraid it might rain I rushed home only to be stuck in a massive traffic jam.. in HEAVY RAIN. I couldn’t even see the road. I decided to stop by at the nearby restaurant.. and there’s this waiter who’s been extremely nice to me and mom cuz we’re regular customer there lol. So I was eating alone, chatting.. etc… and him telling me he, too, goes clubbing which I thought was so hilarious.. and I got the most generous discount and a free roti canai (Canai bread) that the waiter secretly ordered for me, haha. So nice of him.

I had a very boring Sunday. Slept most of the day, catching up on my sleep. Speaking of sleep, I should sleep now. It’s 4 am, wtf.
