Koozies

I learned a new word today – koozies!

It’s such a cute word. Had no idea what it is but apparently it’s something for a can of drink. Wiki says ‘A beer koozie is a fabric or foam device that is designed to insulate a beverage can or bottle‘. It’s such a cute word.

And apparently, you can also get a custom imprinted koozies. I can’t stop saying the word koozies. Kinda rhymes with cooties.

Damn it, I want to blog more but I’m having an allergic reaction now so my eyes are very itchy and swollen now. So I’m gonna take some rest before I’ll bake some cakes later.

Toddlers & Tiara

Ever seen a show called ‘Toddlers & Tiara‘?

It’s absolutely a fucking disgusting show where mothers abuse their child so they could enter in pageants. By abuse I mean majority of the kids don’t even understand what they have to go through at such young age but they’re forced to by means of brainwashing. They’re forced to go through things only adults should do – like this spray tanning clip:

It’s mostly mothers either going to the tanning store to get spray tanned or they’d go to the tanning supplies at the tanning store and do it themselves. Some of the kids would cry and refuse which kind of sad to watch. But the thing is, it’s a show that people wanna watch. I hate what these stupid mothers who are insecure about their life and living their dream through their kids but somehow it just keeps me interested to watch how their pageants turn out.

My recent watch was this stupid Russian mother who I want to slap so hard that her head would spin 360 degrees ‘The Exorcist’ style. Out of all, she’s the one I really hate, and how competitive she was that SHE threw a tantrum when things didn’t go so well. Wtf. Even when her daughter won something (even though not the ultimate grand supreme title) but she acted as if her kid is worthless. What kind of a mother is that?

Then she had the nerve to threaten the person who uploaded the video just because everybody gave nasty comments about her attitude. Wtf.

But I do love Eden Wood (retired from pageant world now). I think she’s pretty & smart but way too mature for her age. Kids her age should start 1st grade and try to make friends and play outside, not act like they’re 30 years old. Then another one is Makenzie. She’s a brat but she’s entertaining. But they look like fake barbies in their pictures which is so gross.

It’s been a while!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri / Happy Eid Mubarak!

I can’t believe that Ramadan is over and it’s Syawal now. It went by so fast. I didn’t get anything productive done during Ramadan, just did a lot of planning to start on a new project/online business. I’m preparing to launch it after Raya, which is probably in a couple of days, or next week. This week has been quite depressing though. 3 stray kittens that I was taking care of, that my neighbors dumped at my house, died. It’s hard to take care of abandoned kittens when they’re still fully dependent on the mother for milk. Then my outdoor cat had babies, and this week, for 3 straight days, 3 of them died – one being yesterday and I had absolutely no idea why. They just….died. The mother is stupid though.

Hari Raya has been stressful. We were supposed to have someone clean the house but she couldn’t so I had to do the cleaning myself. It’s bad enough that this week, I pulled a muscle at my lower back/right hip area and I’ve been in so much pain for days which rendered me quite useless. It’s not like I can do much about it, like how you can get an ossur knee braces for knee support. I only started with the cleaning yesterday and had a panic attack when in the midst of cleaning my relatives came, then my cousins came with their friends.. it was fun though.

I’m supposed to be sleeping right now but I couldn’t. Argh! So prepare for a blog spam.

Electric Fireplace

Ahh how nice is this? An electric fireplace. No worries about getting logs for your fireplace.

I’d love to have a fireplace because there’s nothing better than to relax in front of a fireplace on a cold day, hear the fire crackling while reading a book until you fall asleep. It’s nice to cuddle with your significant other too. What sucks is that the heat in Malaysia is enough to make you feel like melting, adding a fireplace would make you feel like you’re being barbequed.

I actually love cold water, but not extreme cold weather that can freeze you… just cool weather.. between 10ºC – 20ºC. That’ll be nice. It’s been so hot nowadays, and it hasn’t even rained for over a week now or more. It sucks. Greens (like huge trees) would be a big help in contributing to cool weather but nooooo.. my area nowadays? BUILDINGS. My shitty bastards of neighbors have cut down their trees, my neighborhood has become a business area with shoplots.. all trees has been cut down.. it just sucks. Where there’s barely any greens, it’ll become as hot as the desert.

Stressful Days

I seriously can’t remember when my life after high school has been stress free. I don’t even remember how being stress free feels like.

This past few days, I’ve been going crazy with Japanese craft stuff. I’ve always liked it but never cared because usually it’s quite a costly hobby but now I think I need to have this kind of hobby as stress reliever. I’ve also been crazy again about Japanese DIY candies!

If you have no idea what it is, it’s a DIY candy in powder form that you mix with water like some kind of chemical experiments, and the chemical reactions will cause the mixture to turn into various type of candies/form/textures with cool effects. The most popular one are from Kracie called Popin’ Cookin‘ and NeruNeruNeruNe. Some resembles food that looks real, you wouldn’t believe that it’s actually candy made from mixing powder.

Well, because it’s very hard to get it in Malaysia, I’m thinking of importing the candies and sell it here. As far as I can see, there are only a couple of sellers, or maybe just one, who is barely active. There’s only 1 store in KL that imports it (as far as I’m concern) but not all the sets. I bought mine in the picture above from them. So hopefully I can offer the candies and some other Japanese DIY kits like eraser making and clay making and if there’s demand, miniature sets like re-ments to Malaysian market.

I’m still waiting for my shipment from Japan and I can’t wait. It’s too bad that some of the box are not halal. They all sure looks fun to play with. Here’s one of my favorite videos on Popin’ Cookin’ from the popular youtuber RRCherypie. I’ll choose the bento set video because it’s popular.

 

A lot of the cool sets that you can watch on youtube has been discontinued which really sucks, including the cupcake set above!
