503 Service Temporarily Unavailable……

I hate this dreaded error message!

503error

Internal Server Error  

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.  Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@seventh-angel.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.  More information about this error may be available in the server error log.  

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I had this error yesterday and if you visited this site yesterday evening, you probably saw the error message too. That was the 2nd time it happened. You know how it happened? Failed update attempt for wordpress plugins. I don’t know why the same thing happened again. I was just updating the plugins from the wordpress update panel, all seemed okay. So after that, I clicked to go back to plugins page and it gave the 404 page not found. So I clicked back, and redid the updating and this time, when I clicked to go back to plugins page then BAM, the stupid error comes up.

I had to contact dreamhost support because last time they fixed it for me. Said something about my database being almost entirely wiped out. So later that night, I got a response from dreamhost explaining my problem.

Turns out the problem was caused by 2 bad lines in my .htaccess file. There were 2 lines that say “Deny from” but there is nothing after that statement to deny so this is causing a syntax error in my .htaccess and Apache is stopping after that error. So they fixed it and all is fine again!

Thank you Dreamhost, my hosting company. I have been with them since my birthday in 2005.. so that’s over 7 years.. and of course there has been some downtime here and there but their service has been top notch and efficient. I love Dreamhost.

I haven’t been updating my blog as often as I should. I’ve been taking a break from all of my blogs, projects and stuff when I shouldn’t. I seriously don’t have the mood to update lately or do any work lately and I think I’m gonna have to face the consequences soon. Well. I’m gonna have to work on getting my mood back so I can start updating again more often. I’m also having problems with Nuffnang for almost a month now. Urgh. This bites. Well I’m gonna relax and play some games to relax my brain haha.

The Big Bad Bunk Bed

This is a lovely twin over queen bunk bed! Very awesome looking! You know what straight came to my mind when I see this kind of bed? A cabin. At the lake. Yes, a log cabin at a lake or somewhere in the wood in the middle of nowhere that serves as your getaway place, a vacation house or something. I dream of an opportunity to be able to have a relaxing vacation at a nice log cabin but we don’t have that here. This bunk bed is pretty expensive though.

Kidnapped Boy Nayati Moodliar Has Been Found!

I woke up yesterday morning to a good news I’ve been hoping for all week!

The missing boy, Nayati Shamelin Moodliar, that was kidnapped last week on April 27th while walking to his school at Mont Kiara International School has been found yesterday morning at the rest area in Rawang/Sg Buloh.. apparently the kidnappers left him there with a handphone so he could call his parents. Police confirmed that the parents paid the ransom but would not disclose how much. For the whole week, we’ve been left in the darkness with no updates on the boy, when in fact they were communicating with the kidnappers about the ransom. I guess it was part of their plan to keep it silent as to not jeopardizing the boy’s life. Oh well whatever, at least they boy is safe! So relieved and glad that it did not end up with a tragedy, because the boy is so cute :\ So glad he didn’t end up like Nurin Jazlin or Dirang.. or even go missing like Sharlinie or Madeleine McCann.

I hope that once the boy has recovered from the traumatic experience, we would know more about the details.. and what he went through. What actually happened in the whole week? One thing for sure, Nayati is one hell of a famous kid around the world now. He could write a book and rake profits. Or make a movie about the whole kidnapping drama. Hey he already has that ‘star quality’ looks.. I wish they would release the CCTV footage now that the boy is back home. They better capture the kidnappers now and give them the worst punishment ever.
