JAKARTA: About 500 angry protesters staged a motorcycle demonstration yesterday outside the Malaysian ambassador’s residence here to condemn the abuse of Indonesian maids by Malaysian employers.Incensed by the latest case of rape and torture of an Indonesian domestic worker in Malaysia, protesters besieged Ambassador Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin’s house and demanded he leave the country within two days.

They also went to the Malaysian embassy to continue the demonstration and threatened to go to a shopping mall and hotels nearby to tell Malaysian tourists to leave the country, as police kept a watchful eye.
“We want the Malaysian ambassador to leave Indonesia in two days. If he doesn’t, we’ll remove all the things in his house,” said Mustar Bonaventura of nationalist youth group Bendera, which organised the rally.

“Malaysia has really gone too far. Again they’re torturing and raping our domestic workers. We’ve lost our patience. They’ve degraded Indonesia and its citizens.”

Protesters shouted “Malaysians are insolent”, sang the Indonesian anthem and carried banners with messages such as “Crush Malaysia”.
“We’ll tell the Malaysian shoppers in Senayan City mall to stop shopping in Indonesia and get out. But we’ll tell them nicely because we’re not like those Malaysians who are torturers and rapists,” Bonaventura said.

City police spokesman Boy Rafli Amar said: “The police were at the ambassador’s residence to provide security.”

Protesters had been barred from entering the shopping malls, police official Hamidin said.
“We deployed 200 officers to Senayan City. About 200 protesters came on motorcycles but we didn’t allow them into the mall, so they left.”

The Malaysian government yesterday had condemned the abuse of Indonesian maids after a 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped and scalded with an iron by her employers. The couple accused of abusing the woman have been arrested. — AFP

Like seriously. Why bully the Malaysian ambassador?! He has nothing to do with the rape or torture case. If there’s one bad Malaysian, why blame THE WHOLE OF MALAYSIA?! So what about the Indonesians that came here ILLEGALLY, then rape and rob houses and shops and MURDER people?!

Why can’t we, Malaysians, kick them?? My 3 ex-maids.. 2 with problems… 1 who TORTURED my grandma and stole our money and things, the other one who married my uncle and caused our family to have the biggest fight ever and now are after my cousin’s properties, abuse my cousins, and also STOLE MY STUFF… who seduced my uncle through black magic? The fuckers who broke into my house and stole my things..are they really good people? Why can’t we kick Indonesians out??

Because we are MALAYSIANS. Even though hundreds of Indonesians who came here and did crime, we never say anything but patience have limits. These low-class fuckers are going overboard. Majority of your people are very poor and has to go to MALAYSIA to work, and yet you dare to bully our ambassador??

It’s ok. Karma works in mysterious ways. God knows. These low class people are not worth our time. I’m just worried that my uncle and his whole family are going to Indonesia AGAIN next month. My cousin’s convo will be in October too I think (she studied medicine in Indonesia). I guess those low class people forgot who helped them during the Tsunami.. It’s ok. What goes around comes around. We, Malaysians, have class. Those low class bastards are not worth our time.

PS: I’m only directing this post to those bastards who were in the rally. As much as I hate those low class Indonesians, I do love Indonesian who are not against Malaysia. I have Indonesian friends, and they’re my good friends. Unlike those bastards, I don’t blame whole of Indonesia just because we got fucked over and over again by Indonesians who came here illegally and did crime. We are better than them, and that’s a fact. So take that and shove it up your ass, fuckers.
