Bizarre Addiction – Airlines Accident

8

I’m so lazy to blog long with pictures today. For the past 2 days I’ve been playing with my Nintendo DSi until my eyes are blurry. I haven’t touched my DSi  for quite a long time since I was busy with my final year at college.  I forgot how much fun DSi can be when you want to learn Japanese. I’ve been revising my kanji writing and the basic hiragana/katakana… I can say that I am ashamed of myself that I even get the strokes for hiragana wrong! I don’t even remember most of katakana.. let alone remember the onyomi and kunyomi of first grade kanji! WTF. I spent a year in Japanese school, being tortured to death by the hectic life of Japan people, stressing myself to the max for what? Only to forget 90% of what I’ve learned there a few years later. Gah.

I’m going back to my hometown this week so I’m gonna start doing some Kanji revision.

Okay, apart from that, I have also been watching/reading news/videos about past airline crashes… I believe it has somewhat traumatized me now… I’ve been obsessing about the Air India Express crash since it happened… particularly on the passenger ‘Harshini Poonja‘, a 17 (or 18, or 19, or 20) year old girl who is now infamous because of her last twitter posting at the airport before she got on the ill-fated plane.

@netizentwo: At the airport and blah =_= Only thing to look forward to is the rain.

That is chillingly disturbing to know that shortly later she would end up charred to death… been reading her blog, news about her.. unfortunately the facebook of ALL of Dubai residents that knew her, including her own facebook are set to private.. so can’t get to know her more however some of her pictures make me extremely sad.. she was so young, pretty and innocent looking and have a full bright future ahead of her, but that’s all not gonna happen now.

Sujata Survase‘s (the cabin crew) ORKUT’s last update was “I hate goodbyes but I guess it’s time“… even though her facebook had that same status message but it was a while ago, but still… however her facebook is no longer available.. maybe the family contacted FB for it to be deleted.

Then yesterday I’ve been watching two episodes of Airline Crash Investigation.. for the episode about Adam Air that crashed into the ocean and disappeared… listened to the black box recording of the pilots minutes before they crash and… that’s what TRAUMATIZD me.. it was so disturbing beyond words…to hear the voices of people who are about to die, to know what the last few minutes of their lives was like…God.

The other episode was the mid-air collision between Bashkirian Airlines Flight 2937 / DHL Flight 611… yes if you know me, you’d know that I can get extremely addicted and obsessed when it comes to something mysterious.. this is a sad case when that flight had really gifted smart children/prodigies that would have a very bright future only to meet with death unexpectedly 30,000 feet above… this is particularly a scary one to know that the DHL plane’s tail kinda ‘sliced’ through the belly of the Bashkirian plane and it split into two- IN MID AIR! Imagine if you were in that plane, and you were sleeping peacefully and suddenly within seconds the plane splits into two and you might end up thrown out, falling to your death and your body sorta ‘explodes’ in bits and pieces and parts of you landed in the area within kilometres apart. How tragic is that??

I wanted to see what the bodies were like (yes this is part of my morbid fascination, strange curiosity) but I could only find one picture of a woman..and what’s left of her was only the head down to the left side of the shoulder and left upper arm. One out of her two daughters was found intact by their father who helped with the search. The guy lost his entire family – a wife and two kids, and eventually got crazy and soon later he stabbed the air traffic controller Peter Nielsen to death for ‘causing’ the mid air collision. It wasn’t his fault entirely but he, too, ended up with death. Tragic, very tragic.

Okay, enough about that before I get obsessed again.

On a slightly happier note (for me), I have lost 3 kg in 3 days since I took the pills from my doctor… WOOT. Okay, it might be just the water weight but I’m still happy to see the numbers go down in the scale. Hopefully it has no side effect.. the medicine includes fat burning pill which I’m hoping it would burn away my extra fat.. I’ve never been at this weight, and to start to feel all the bulges make me very, very uncomfortable…so that’s a wake up call for me telling me it’s time for a change before I get way too fat and be in the danger of obesity and the sickness obesity will give you.

Can’t wait to go back to my hometown, in my nice house, no low-class immigrants & villagers, no broken elevators, no cramped space.. so I can do a lot of dancing & exercising in my living room aka my bedroom (yes I sleep in the living room on the first floor). Only thing I’m worried about is the internet….. I can’t rely on my phone to connect my laptop to internet everytime, I need the fixed line…so I can download stuff.. like Glee episodes!

PS: Watched 2 episodes of “Mind Your Language” yesterday. Always wanted to watch this to see if it’s funny… I was instantly hooked! God I love British sitcoms.

An Eye Exam, Shrek 4-D, Moving Balls Toy

4

MY EYE EXAM

Last Wednesday, I had an eye exam at the college’s new faculty in the morning. I’ve been having bad allergic reactions since I’ve been in KL since 2006. So i’ve been doing a lot of rubbing on my eye. So I got worried and since the new Faculty of Optometry & Vision Sciences is opened and they offer free full eye exam at the moment, so I said why not, right? I mean it’s free. So I went to set up an appointment.

The eye exam took like an hour because it was a thorough eye exam. So you know the usual stuff – they used the machines to check the eyes, the vision, then the blurriness, check for color blind etc.. it did take like an hour-ish for it to finish. So the verdict? I’m short sighted. Which I already know.. and told him my glasses have been crooked for like ages, so I’d need a new one, but their place to sell it haven’t opened yet so he’ll give me a call when it does. Other than that, nothing wrong, which is quite a surprise to me since I’ve been having a lot of allergies. He did say I have like tiny bumps on the lid or something, which means I do have allergies so better to go to clinic to get it checked. They can only give artificial tear drop but it would be just a temporary relief.

Finished at 12 pm. Then I called my friend and we went to Ikea for lunch and had hotdog. Their hotdog and curry puffs are ‘the awesomeness’. The only cheap alternatives when you’re so damn broke haha.

SHREK 4 THE FINAL CHAPTER 3D

I was supposed to pick mom up to send to the clinic after lunch hour, but after countless tries phoning her and she didn’t pick up, I decided to watch a movie with Claudia. She wanted to watch Kick-Ass while I want to watch Shrek in 3D. You see, I’ve been a fan of Shrek movies, and since Hollywood now are so crazy with the 3D trend, I thought hey, why not watch Shrek in 3D. Besides, I want to watch it in 3D before I go back to my hometown next week because the cinema at my hometown is sooooooo lame that they don’t have 3D. Kick-Ass movie is no longer showing so it was either Shrek or A Nightmare on Elm Street. Oh I so wanna watch Nightmare on Elm Street because I wanna see how they remake the classic – even though it won’t be the same as original as Freddy isn’t played by Robert Englund (he’s the only best Freddy!) and no hot young Johnny Depp :P But Claudia didn’t want to watch scary movie so I had to force her to watch Shrek in 3D :P After all the forcing and pleading she gave in hehehehe.

I don’t want to give extensive review on the movie because I have another website for my movie reviews. The movie is good! It’s soooo hilarious. I actually love this better than the 3rd one. On the 3D review, I love watching movies in 3D. Some says 3D sucks because you don’t get like stuff coming towards you and make you go WHOOOAAA, but it’s not all about that. 3D gives you the depth also.. makes the surrounding and characters come to life as if you’re there instead of flat 2D. There are some scenes where you feel the elements go ‘out of the screen’ like smoke, those magic particles.. and like stuff almost coming to you. Overall, 3D Shrek is better than 3D Alice in Wonderland. I’ve also watched Nightmare before Christmas 3D before and it was awesome because you see the snow falls right in front of you.. the verdict? Watch in 3D if it’s ANIMATION MOVIE, but don’t watch 3D if it’s just a normal movie unless you don’t care about the effect, and just want the depth.

I wonder how they’re gonna make the last Harry Potter’s movie in 3D? They better make it good!

My favorite part of Shrek 4 is when Puss in Boots give the sad puppy dog eyes to Donkey 3 times! OMG I couldn’t stop laughing at that! OMG thinking of it now makes me laugh. That’s the funniest part ever because when my Ipoh friend and I watched the first Shrek movie, we couldn’t stop talking about how Puss in Boots did the sad eyes in the first movie.. now they made it longer so it’s even more hilarious.

Go watch Shrek 4! It’s t3h-awesomeness!

Oh yeah, while waiting for Shrek 4, we spent a long time at Daiso and discovered a new toy that is so addictive.

MOVE A BALL: BRAIN TRAINING
ムービングボール脳を活性化!

We spent a long time playing this at Daiso until after the movie, I decided to get this!

This is Claudia (her hand actually) playing with it after I bought it. When we played with it in Daiso, everybody was looking at how crazy we were with a baby rattle looking thing in our hands. So what the hell is this? It’s actually a brain training game!

How do you play this? If you can’t read the Japanese, I’ll roughly translate it for you. Basically it says the aim of the game is to have one color separated at each sides. So you have to start with all the balls mixed up at one side, then shake/roll/swing whatever you like to move one color to the other side. I find it easier to play once you have the toy out of the packaging and I find it easier to roll instead of shaking the thing. For example, you want to have blue colored balls at the right side and orange colored ball at the left side. When it’s done, it looks like this!

Done!

Haha I love that girl cartoon! That’s how I look like when I play the toy. It makes you frustrated, it makes you cuss, it makes you happy, it makes you giggle.. basically the toy will fuck with your head. Haha. Love it.

Only in Daiso! Geez, the Japanese and their crazy inventions.. even a simple toy that looks like a baby rattle that cost RM 5 (100 yen, or around USD 1+) can make you addicted. But it’s fun, so what the hell. I actually played with this when I went shopping with mom after that and everybody was looking at me.

Oh I also got the book “Pride & Prejudice & Zombies“.. yay! Finally. I love anything with zombies. I’ve read “I am Scrooged: A Zombie Story for Christmas” before and I loved it! I’m the kind of person who hates reading books unless it’s very interesting.. so zombies? Of course it’s interesting :D Since I have not read the original Pride & Prejudice, so this is the time right? With a little bit of zombies to add the spice.

My 4th Fraxel Treatment @ Dermlaze, Uptown Damansara

2

I just got back from my dermatologist appointment today to do my 4th fraxel treatment.

The procedure is as usual, no change. Painkiller, alcohol on my face before the numbing cream, then the treatment. But this time, they took like almost 2 hours to let the numbing cream set. Maybe because the last time it was painful as hell for me.. I was technically screaming ‘yowza’ every minute.. I thought they had forgotten about me in the room, haha. So before my treatment starts, I told them I’m so not happy with the texture of the skin.. it’s like the fraxel made all my pores so large like they’re magnified 10x bigger, and the surgery scars are so very obvious still.. so I think they up the density or something for the spot treatment… the pain was eh… but tolerable. Like I said it usually fees like tiny needles poking your skin lightly..

However the 2nd time was very ouch. Because it was spot treatment, felt like one huge needle poking a spot once and deep.. hurts like a bitch. But other than that, it was okay. Not so bad. My face was so numb hehe.. and no pain afterward because of the painkiller. Now, about 5 hours later, numbness is gone, so kinda feels a little throbbing but it’s just a light one but my face is very swollen and blue-blackish?

I hope I’d at least see some improvement on the stupid surgery scars after because seriously, it’s pissing me off to no end. Oh yeah, I also finally got some slimming pills from them. Could this be the best diet pills and actually work? We will see.

I need some rest now. I feel like vomiting for no reason.

suspended

SUSPENDED!

3

OMG.

Yesterday my account was…

SUSPENDED!

Okay, it was suspended because I’ve been a cheapskate and haven’t been paying my hosting fees for like 2 months? I’ve been broke okay?? No job, no nothing so I’ve been like so broke beyond word. However, luckily mom had a little bit of extra money that I can borrow so I’m saved.

Maybe I should, like, beg people for money.

*rolls eyes*

Anyways, so yeah, as you can see, obviously when you’re reading this, and this blog has been successfully posted, means my blog is back and my account is no longer being suspended. Lucky had mom to the rescue. Not sure how to pay her back, and trust me by the end of the week, she’d be bitching at me about the money..because if I don’t pay her back, then she can’t pay the bills, then we’d be living in the dark!

Anyways.

Oh I found out more about the whole ‘Draw Muhammad Day’ thing that caused the extreme slowdown in my hosting’s server. As I’ve mentioned before, my host (Dreamhost) was hosting a website that encourage people to draw the prophet Muhammad. Now, that is a HUGE NO NO in Islamic religion.. I can’t stress how serious the big NO NO is. My host was okay with it, hence why they hosted it, because they believe in freedom of speech, which was the whole point of the thing.. more about freedom of speech. But it was more like to piss Muslims off in my opinion.. such ignorant and insensitive fucks. It was such an INSULT to the Muslims.. and yet you people whine about the whole ‘oh Muslim are terrorists’ crap? The question is more like.. WHO PISSED WHO FIRST? You piss the Muslims off, then the pissed off Muslims (or non-muslim whatever) would go on and attack you, so who should be blamed?? Muslims, or the bunch of retards who pissed them off in the first place?

If we stop pissing each other off, the world would be such a fucking peaceful place.

So yeah, as I said, these people pissed off the Muslims.. and so the Pakistan went on and ban the website, facebook, youtube etc …and lots of websites emerged with guides on how to attack the website using DDOS.. so of course the pissed off people went on and attack my host until the server couldn’t handle it. You could express freedom of speech in so many ways, why this topic? And I’m just appalled at how some of you verbally attacked back the Muslims in facebook, youtube etc..

By the way, Muslim people are not just in Pakistan or in middle east, they’re all over the world.. If you wanna target the Arabs or Iraqis or Pakistanis whatever shit, do not fucking generalize MUSLIMS, as in the ENTIRE Muslim population.. because believe it or not, MAJORITY does not condone violence and are not terrorists and don’t even give a damn about pissing non-Muslims or jihad or suicide bombing or all that shit.

Ok I’m done ranting.

I’ll resume my blogging routine tomorrow. I thought I wanted to blog more tonight, after this post, but I’m sooooooooo sleepy. I had a very long day which I’ll write about tomorrow plus with lots of other stuff that’s in my ‘stuff to write about‘ list. I have dermatologist appointment tomorrow morning, but before that I have to send mom to the clinic for checkup at like before 8 am..! Crazy.

I’m downloading Glee episode 20 ;D And I just finished downloading GLEE: The Music Volume 3. “TEH AWESOMENESS“.

And are you looking for a furnace filters? If you want some tips, you can visit the site where it has some tips for you. I don’t need filter, nor do I know anything about it, haha, but if you do, then go check it out? :P

Goodnight.

WTFBBQ RETARDS

6

I wanted to blog today but unfortunately my hosting people hosted a website called ‘drawmuhammadday.com‘, which is a very sensitive issue to Muslims, thus that website had a DDOS attack and now my website is loading slow, my wordpress isn’t working well I guess because of the attack and the control panel is loading like snail.

Is this some sort of suicide? Hosting a website like that knowing that it’s a very sensitive issue?!

Very well done, drawmuhammadday.com people, for being a retard.

By the way, quick recommendation. In Malaysia we don’t have RV, but if you have an RV, you might want to look at this insurance plan thing for rv repair..might be useful?

ANGRY FACE-1

A Short Rant

5

RARRRRRRRR!!!

This is gonna be a short rant but a fully detailed rant will be posted soon. Okay, I ordered my stuff from the US, and because I don’t have US address and the merchant doesn’t ship internationally to Malaysia, so I had to use my last resort – a mail forwarding service. I won’t reveal which company yet because that I will dedicate a whole new pissy angsty ranty post for that but right now I’m so pissed. One package made it to Malaysia but the other one is separated and I was told it has been shipped but NOPE, it hasn’t!

Now who are the fuckers who dared to lie to me??

Soon I will tell. But right now all I want is my packages to safely arrive to me.

It has been making me paranoid. The wait is killing me. Not knowing the status before it reaches a certain destination has been killing me.

On a different note, #GleeKL wrap up party this Friday night..should I go?! And there has been flash mobs for Glee last weekend and this also this coming weekend too… I wonder how it went. I decided not to check it out because eh.. no hype, no nothing.. I don’t even have any idea how it was gonna be done.. etc

Oh and I want PC fair to come soon -.- Need to flash drive/external drive as I’m running out of space pretty quickly!

I Don’t Know

1

I don’t know why I’m writing this because I have no clue what it’s about, and reading the site confuses me but it might be useful to some of you. Apparently there’s a BPI Certification..something about building stuff? So this place, everblue teaches those of you who are looking for bpi training so you can pass your exam. This does not apply to me as I have no interest at all but if it might be helpful to some of you so yeah, do check the training center out.

A short ranting post coming up.

Post Glee Flashmob Syndrome

5

I have post #GleeKL syndrome.

Whenever I hear the ‘Don’t Stop Believing‘ music on Star World Asia (the channel that airs Glee), I’d get up and prepare myself to dance… it’s infectious. It was so much fun that most of us want more, and are having the same post #GleeKL syndrome.

So, I’m currently trying to take my mind off the whole Glee thing because it’s driving me nuts. I’m still happy to be part of Malaysian ‘history’ as this is the first huge flash mob that is covered by a TV station. If you haven’t seen the Star World Asia’s promo on it that is shown on TV, here it is.

Anyways, I’ll be working on Sinfully Delicious (my food blog) tonight so that it won’t look abandoned anymore, and I could actually start posting. Seriously, I gotta stop abandoning my blogs because it’s such a waste financially -___-

Glee Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Flash Mob @ The Garden (#GleeKL)

1

It was AWESOME-NESS!!!!!!!!!

Haha!

OMG ADRENALINE RUSH!

Be prepared… soon to be LONG entry with videos & pictures!

EDIT// We were on the news!

(I’m somewhere behind a guy =___=)

Okay, it was a bit obvious because there were loads, I mean LAODS of people joining in at the last minute.. it was kinda obvious.. plus everyone has been taking pictures with the Glee sign, some dressed up, some with big cameras.. so we screwed up a bit with the random spontaneous flash mob part.. but hey, we had a BLAST and everyone enjoyed it!

The mob was held at The Garden. Everybody thought it’d be at Midvalley. We all met up at the ballroom, and was given number. This would separate us into groups. I reached there at about12.20 pm and I was put in 2B.. which would be for 2nd floor.. aww too bad I wanted to be near the kids lol. Anyways, we waited with our group and around 12.45 pm or so we walked to Midvalley and waited there. Then we walked back to the secret location… and my group was near the bridge.. and EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE was leaning against the railing/bridge etc looking down! Talk about being too obvious! Hahaha.. it’s so funny when passerby started to look down wondering what the hell is hudreds of people looking at and there’s actually nothing???….yet. Busted.

Suddenly the music started at around 2-ish pm and that was it! SHOWTIME!

Everybody was dancing like there’s no tomorrow! So much fun! Couldn’t see the kids though because there was too many people that we were spread along the bridges.. so I just kept dancing to the end. Then after it’s done.. some people forgot to disperse naturally.. everybody was rushing down, taking pictures and stuff.. of course tv people was there covering the event. Then after a while, suddenly the music starts again! wtf. I was queuing up to do the promo thing. Then everybody started screaming and dancing again.. an encore! Haha only in Malaysia’s flash mob :P 2nd round because Glee is just too much fun.. so it was just a random spontaneous dance … and everybody was just like dancing like mad. Then everybody was screaming “WE WANT MORE!! WE WANT MORE!!” Hahaha… too bad, had to end. Then pics and stuff.

WE WATCH GLEE ON STAR WORLDDDDDDDD!!!!!!

I felt like a temporary celebrity! Except no one asked for my autograph. Shucks.

It was so hot, I was so sweating. And I also made a new friend! Finally broke out of my antisocial awkward phase. After that went to buy food with my new friend then we went back home. And I took a nap because I only had an hour sleep. Too excited okay!

Overall, it was a MAJOR fun event! Reconnecting Glee fans in Malaysia, expressing our love for Glee! I can’t wait until they show the TV version on Star World this Wednesday before the new season of Glee starts. Thank you Random Alphabet for this opportunity!! This has been the my highlight of the year and I’ve never had this much fun in ages.. since I absolutely love dancing!

Some people might think, after watching 1 video with the kids video and quickly assume that it’s a failed flash mob.. well we were spread out silly! You only see one part of it!

Check out twitter with the hashtag #GleeKL (do a search), everyone’s buzzing! Still waiting for pictures to post.

I found this picture in RA’s facebook. Wtf the angle makes me look like I’m obese haha (but I’m not that fat ok!) but oh God, I look like I was in a super Gleek hyper mode! Actually I was just doing the L sign because everyone was doing it.. that’s my new friend beside me who was probably watching me in disbelief or laughing at me for being a camwhore.. or a diva? o___O;;;? Nah…….!

This entry will be updated constantly with pictures and videos that I’ve found online. And I will write about my first flashmob experience very soon so come back to this entry again! But to start, here’s a video someone uploaded, which is a promo for Astro’s Star World TV (Asia’s channel that airs Glee) and this was my group’s shot! Haha. Can you spot me???

Finally found a video with the bridge view.. can see myself dancing! (I’m next to a striped shirt guy, with white sling back) Can you spot me??

This is the ‘encore’ part, where we did a 2nd round! Haha, I don’t think that’s been done before?? Usually after a flash mob people would just disperse and that’s it.. but I guess this is Malaysian style? ENCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The encore part was the most fun! I was somewhere at the back in the video, but you can’t see me.. but it was hella fun, because that was not planned, and it was spontaneous fun..!

EDIT// OMG Can’t keep up. So many new videos and photos emerged! And most of us are still NOT OVER #GleeKL yet! Everybody misses it including me and watching all the mob videos posted on youtube brings back tears.. it was THE BEST DAMN EXPERIENCE

For a complete listing of videos & photos posted, visit Dkevo‘s post.. thank you DKevo for all the hard work of compiling EVERYTHING! It’s awesome!

Click for a bigger picture.. I’m behind/next to a guy with a Malaysian flag hat.. you can’t miss him.

EDIT 5/11 – The Star Online (newspaper) has uploaded their news coverage on the flash mob.. ! And full story about the flash mob will be in NST this Wednesday!

Glee Flash Mob Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Rehearsal Day 2 & 3

2

As I’ve mentioned in my previous posts, that this past couple of days I’ve been joining the rehearsal for Malaysia’s own Glee flash mob in KL organized by Random Alphabets which will be held today, Saturday. I’m so excited as this is my first flash mob and I’ve been dying to join one for ages! I’ve mentioned before that I wanted to join a Michael Jackson one but they canceled. I found out about this on Monday, and they had the first optional rehearsal on Tuesday.. I mastered the dance in an hour but I couldn’t join them for the first rehearsal because it was raining heavily in the evening, and I took out my uncle who came from Ipoh out to eat. So instead, I joined them on Wednesday.

DAY 2: BUKIT BINTANG BOYS HIGH SCHOOL

The 1st rehearsal was held at The Garden’s Hotel ballroom at Midvalley so it’s all cozy with aircond but suddenly on day 2, they told us that they’ve been forced to change venue and the place was at Bukit Bintang Boys High School. Luckily it’s in PJ, which is nearer to me than Midvalley so I was glad…but boy, was I wrong. Traffic was smooth, and I was expecting a traffic jam at sprint highway but nope. Rehearsal started at 8 pm and I left home at about 7.20 pm.. and I reached there 15 minutes before 8 pm.. it was nearby the digital mall and luckily I’ve been there before so I knew the way.

Once I found the school, parked my car and I was surprised to see the number of crowd. There were lots of people and majority was with friends and I was alone. Suddenly I felt REALLY, REALLY awkward and I turned antisocial >.< I wanted to make new friends and say hi to someone but uh.. everyone seems like they have a group of friends so I got scared. Haha. So all I did was just wait alone, and played with my phone refreshing twitter and facebook hoping someone would update. Lame, right?

It started drizzling and I thought, oh no.. what if it rains heavily? But luckily rain stopped after a while so we could start the rehearsal.

Because there was a lot of people, we were seperated. This is my group..

This is the other group at the opposite ‘field’…

And some were separated to at the 2nd floor!.. It was mad.. haha. But once we started dancing, that’s when the fun begin. It was so much fun. I was being too energetic so I was sweating like there’s no tomorrow. I was SOAKED. So was everyone else. Since it was outside, with NO AIR BLOWING.. the atmosphere was humid.. it was so hot.. and everybody was sweating like a pig, the whole place smell of sweat.. and FEET. I don’t know why, the whole place smells of FEET. It was extremely gross.

So the rehearsal ended at 10 pm, and I went straight back home. After resting for a bit, I couldn’t wait to get into the shower because of how gross and icky I felt.. and my whole body smell of feet. Haha.

DAY 3: THE GARDEN’S BALLROOM, MIDVALLEY

Because I overdid the dance at the 2nd rehearsal and was being too energetic, I had the worst leg cramp and body ache ever. I couldn’t even bend my knees. It was enough that my practice on Monday left me with a minor body ache but after the rehearsal, it was BAD dude. So, luckily the 3rd rehearsal was held at the ballroom.. so comfortable place with AIRCOND. Rehearsal started at 8 pm and I left house at 7 pm, and I was expecting bad traffic jam.. and sure there was a slow crawl at Bangsar but it wasn’t that bad. I still reached the place and could still find parking and still reached there in time. It was my first time ever at the ballroom.

The place has carpet so I didn’t have to wear my sports shoes.. I hate wearing my sport shoes because during 2nd rehearsal, my feet was sweating and it was so gross. Felt so uncomfortable. Again I suddenly became antisocial and still couldn’t manage to speak to anyone.. I got so scared. wtf.

During the first dance, there was no or barely any aircond.. golly… I thought it was gonna be the high school atmosphere all over again. Everybody was sweating like mad, and soon the place will smell of sweat. But phew, shortly after, they fixed the aircond and the place was really cold so no major sweat! And no disgusting feet or sweat smell!

After a short recap of the dance, turns out there was quite a number of newcomer who wasn’t at the previous rehearsals and did not practice at all. So we were separated into groups to learn the dance base on the part of songs. The songs we are doing include:

  • Don’t Stop Believing
  • Proud Mary
  • Gold Digger
  • Somebody To Love

So those who doesn’t know the steps can learn step by step at that point. Since I knew the steps already, I took the chance to take pics and video of the rehearsal.

Then we started dancing by groups. It was fun.

For the rest hour or so, we were practicing and practicing until they told us that we’re doing the ‘Don’t Stop Believing’.. so we have to learn the steps on the spot. So while we were learning the new simple steps, the kids under 18 was learning a different step. Turns out the kids would start the mob instead of adults and they have their own dancing. Haha, surprisingly the kids learned faster than adults! And it was good intro for the mob too.

It was so much fun… best part of it is that I love dancing, and I’m dancing with people who wanna dance, and we’re dancing about some we love which is GLEE! The rehearsal ended at about 11pm-ish. I guess in two days with all the sweat and exercise, I must have burned a lot of calories but I prolly screwed that because when I got home I had a late dinner which was McDonald’s. Haha so bad. Oh and also, Marina Mahathir, the daughter of our ex prime minister was there and was being cool and supportive .. she was with her family and she and her kids are joining in too.

I don’t have a picture of myself at the rehearsal because I was alone and taking a pic of myself would be awkward. However, there was one pic from each rehearsals that people randomly took and I was randomly included by accident, haha.

I was accidentally in the background, and I did notice the camera and I was smiling.. and little did I know that he had depth of field on so I was blurry :( This was taken before the rehearsal started on day 2. Picture credit to Khairul Nazri.

OMG. CHUBBY BUNNY.

This however is a clear picture of me except it was taken at a VERY BAD ANGLE (it was very low angle). T________T I look so chubby here and my hair was all messy because this was after the rehearsal. We were sitting there listening to a short ‘briefing’ by Zain HD, the main guy who’s handling this. SORRY IF I BROKE YOUR MONITOR FROM THE UGLYNESS & CHUBBINESS. I saw the guy was with camera pointing towards me.. I didn’t know if he was gonna take a picture of me in the first place but I quickly put the ‘L’ sign,  with an awkward smile then he just quickly took a snap and moved on… T_______T Picture credit to RandomAlphabet.

I can’t wait for today’s real thing! No idea where it’s gonna be at .. I’m nervous yet very excited. So I’m gonna take a rest now and sleep and hopefully my legs would stop aching when I wake up.

If you’d like to know more about the Glee KL flash mob you can visit the official site, in twitter you can search for #GleeKL and also in facebook.

(I camwhored a bit with my webcam before the rehearsal)
