Horses

0

Yeeeeha! Giddyup boy!

Oh shit I just had a heart palpitation… ouch that hurt. Anyways. I wanted to blog about horses. I’ve only been on a horse once, and that was when The Mines Wonderland was not fully developed into this huge shopping mall.. it was in the early days when all the attractions are outside.. so they had this attraction where you can ride a horse for a few rounds. I was scared for some reason… And snow house was much better at that place than now.

If you’re into horse riding,  you might want to check out some equestrian apparel where there are some discounts. I like discounts. But I’m not rich enough to have a ranch and horses.

Ye Ol School

I wanted to write about school alert system which I thought to be some security setup thing like you know, those surveillance cams and all that but turns out it’s a mass broadcasting service thing. You see, some schools that are too big, it’s impossible to send out notification through the old manual way of papers.. well that can still be done but it can be slow. So make use of the technology and use email instead.

Ahhh technology.

It’s still fresh in my mind, as if it was yesterday that I was in my old high school and it was like some ancient time. There was no mobile phones that we can afford or that are small enough to carry unlike now. So had to to depend on those coin operated public phone, which there was only one, and that one always break, and thus if my extra class was canceled or something, I had to either wait 1 or 2 hours until my mom come and pick me up OR I walk home under the hot blazing sun. My house isn’t that far away from school, and in elementary school I always walk home, but I was fat in high school. Walking home would be inviting disaster.

I”m in the process of making a new blog.. not a personal blog, this will remain but a movie review blog. I wanted to do some editing for my videos tonight but fuck. I shot quite a lot of stuff on Thursday and yesterday and today when I wanted to capture it, NONE OF IT WAS RECORDED ON CAMERA. WTF! I don’t know how’s that possible because the tape was running, and it says I’m recording and even today it says I have just a few minutes left of my tape which means I was recording but once I playback, NONE. Nothing. EMPTY. I’m pissed. And one shot requires me melting some ice cubes onto a pan, so now I have to fricken freeze some water to make ice cubes again. Gah. I have to reshoot it tomorrow. This sucks.

I’m getting lots of breakouts because of this. I’m too stressed about this final project. Once all of this are done, I need to get an emergency acne treatment asap. Not to mention, my hair is falling out a lot, and I HAVE FRICKEN WHITE HAIRS. Gah!

I’m getting old.

Howling at the New Moon

WARNING: This entry is suitable to be read while playing Shakira’s She-Wolf in the background. Awwwwuuuuu!

Nuffnang is having this contest that 30 lucky bloggers who gets picked will get to see “New Moon” premiere a day earlier than the rest of Malaysia. OMGZ I SO WANT!!11!!11!1!

Okay I’m not gonna fill this post with super-excited-omgz-Edward-Jacob-so-hawtz!!11-teenybopper post. We’ve seen too many of those. I’m just gonna get real about why I’m excited about New Moon.

I’ve never posted this in my blog, only on my facebook, but lo and behold… I present you, my own Twilight spoof.

Haha if you were from my Media Studies class, you would have already seen that. Our assignment was to localize a movie scene and me, being a Twifan suggested that our group to spoof/localize Twilight. Especially since the main actor really fit to play Edward! Haha. It was a fun shoot. It may look dumb to you, but that was the point. Bloopers in my facebook. We wanted it to look silly.

Since then, we always make fun of the main guy… with his now trademark sentence – “I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooo shining!”

And of course, for my graduation showcase, for my theme, I chose Twilight ;)

I still remember last year, around this time, my friends and I went for a camp at the outskirt of Melaka. After that, Claudia invited me to watch Twilight but I was way too tired to go, and could barely walk due to muscle cramps so I decided to pass. Little did I know that couple of months later, when the movie was out on DVD and I decided to download it that I’d instantly become obsessed with it.

So what’s so special about the upcoming New Moon? Beside the obvious reasons that Edward is oh-so-hot and suddenly Jacob gained super hot masculinity with that super hot bod (I mean, have you seen the trailer??? Jacob purposely took off his shirt..and somehow Edward would to later? Oh come on! Battle of body, anyone?)… I think the story is what captured me the first. I was always a fan of Robert Pattinson since Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire… but the story is more like my ‘fantasy’.. this forbidden love thing between human and vampire.. oh come, like you’ve never fantasized being with Lestat or Louis (Tom Cruise or Stuart Townsend & Brad Pit) from Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned and now in New Moon, a love triangle between Jacob, Bella and Edward…. tell me if you don’t feel somewhat an adrenaline rush about it. It’s always exciting to fantasize about having 2 hot guys (a vampire and a werewolf, haha…) fighting over you. Except I’m not that lucky.

That reminds me, I have yet to read the books — well, more like audio books that I downloaded. I’ve read like half of Twilight before I got extremely busy last semester, and the book is SO MUCH BETTER. However, I prefer watching the movie first before reading the books because then I can imagine what the characters look like as I read. I’ll finish reading listening to them after all the graduation stuff is over in December.

Another exciting part is DAKOTA FANNING. I mean seriously, Dakota? It feels as if it was only yesterday I watched her in The Cat in the Hat, I am Sam, Hide and Seek etc where she’s just this cute 10 year old who talks and act like a full grown adult. I remember watching her on Oprah and she knitted her something… I can’t remember if it was a sweater or a scarf. SERIOUSLY? A 10 year old who can knit?? Geez louise. It’s gonna be interesting to see her a bit grown up in this movie.

Before I end this entry, I leave you with this youtube video of a famous Twilight spoof that I love oh-so-much by Evil Iguana Productions! Haha, because of this spoof, I am now a big fan of EIP Productions and also Craig and Allen. They’re both two funny guys in youtube. Of course, not forgetting, “Movies in Minutes” Twilight spoof by none other than Ryan Higa aka nigahiga! Haha, another one of the funniest people in youtube ;)

Oh and I so wish I can get that premiere tickets to watch this, even though it’s only a day earlier but it makes a special difference to be able to enjoy it first with just 29 other winners before the rest of Malaysia.

Wait, do you think I’d leave without posting Ryan Higa’s funniest New Moon spoof in his “Movies in Minutes” collection? Haha, no way!

A lil update

If you’ve noticed, I changed the layout, and added the tag box again. I absolutely love this layout and the colors as pink and black are my faves, clean and simple. I wish my room can be pink and black, and clean and simple. Anyways, I have meeting in like 20 minutes and I’m not ready. Blah. Hate it. I want a vacuum for my room, it’s so dusty.. and air filters to clean the air but I need money to buy portable external 500 GB HDD. I badly and desperately need it because I’m not gonna carry the whole 1 TB external HDD everywhere. Unfortunately PC fair in December will be held on the 3 days I have my graduation showcase. FML.

With luck, H helped me in getting the remaining RM150 to pay for the grad showcase. I’m extremely happy now that I have some money to spend on my basic needs. I so need a job. Well I better get ready for meeting. Blah.
