Yesterday I finally received my original HORI screen protector for the DSi. :D

I ordered it from play-asia less than 2 weeks ago and it finally reached me. I got the fake screen protector when I bought the DSi which is normal in Malaysia and I screwed it up. I didn’t know how to put it on so it had scratches and holes on it. But this HORI one is soooo fricken easy to put on and it sticks flawlessly, like it’s not even on the screen. You have no idea how happy I am that the screen is brighter again.

Then I found out about this iPlayer that can play basically mostly any format on the DS/DSi but it’s quite expensive. USD$36+USD$20 shipping (I could opt for free shipping but it’ll take ages). I hate having to convert all videos into DPG before I can put it on my DSi. I’ll get it soon.

My PR class… suddenly we’re told that our last assignment would be a fricken group assignment.. URRRRRGHHHH! I hate this. I thought this semester we could avoid that but nooooo. I HATE group assignment. I’m already rushing for time for my final project and graduation showcase, now I have to worry on group project. Thing is, there’s 7 people in my group. I’m the only girl. And today in class, all we did during discussion was laugh like hell cuz the guys were being perverts that are into beastiality haha. I’m scared it’ll end up having only 2 or 3 people that will do the work. Oh well we’ll see. I usually don’t have good luck with group project.

Okay, in previous posts, I said I wanna talk about this new scam I was unfortunately and unintentionally trapped into. It’s called Pure ResV/Pure RezV

If you play facebook, then you know about all those game applications that can really consume your time. Well during Eid/Hari Raya break, I was soooooo into Sorority Life. I needed ‘brownie points’ which is in-game points that allows you to buy special stuff for your character and to buy it directly is not worth it. USD20 for like 185 brownie points or something like that… then I saw this one offer. A trial pill that you only have to pay USD$4 for shipping and then in exchange you get 200+ brownie points. That sounded like a good deal. By the way it’s the famous resveratrol, which is anti-aging.

My big mistake was not to read the T&C. So I proceed with the order, even during checkout my cart says total cost would be USD$4…only after I submit, with no confirmation whatsoever, they charged me USD$19.95 for the fucking EMS shipping that was not mentioned previously during checkout! So I felt cheated. I went ahead and emailed them to cancel my order and not to ship it but then I googled the name. To my surprise, there are many complaints from people about this trial scam.

You see, you pay $4 dollar for shipping (or USD$20 for international) and they send you this ‘trial’ bottle containing 30 pills. They give you 15 days to try. Now, if you’re sending out TRIAL, shouldn’t the pills be 15 instead of a whole month supply?? Anyways, I keep responding with the fucking customer service and they keep stalling, stalling they couldn’t find me in the database, I even sent them a screenshot and they keep asking for what’s written in my card statement… they keep asking for one info after another UNTIL I get an unsuspecting email saying my order has been SHIPPED!

I was so pissed. A few days later I received it, and the bottle is in bad condition and the package is from CHINA. So I emailed them, and said I have to return the bottle unopened to get a refund. What do you think I am? AN IDIOT? That means I’d have to pay another USD$20 for EMS shipping, or some expensive shipping so it’ll arrive quick before the trial runs out… and guess what? From all the complaints I read, after the 15 days, if you don’t cancel and send the bottle back, you’ll be charged USD90! WTF. Without your authorization too!

Knowing that, on the day I ordered, I already called my card company to send me a new one so they can’t charge me more. I know if I’m charged, I can’t get a refund because their reasons would be “it’s all stated in T&C” and it would be my fault for not reading. So I cussed them out in an email, they keep being retards like they can’t understand that I DON”T have money to pay $90 and I’m NOT going to anyway, and certainly I’m NOT going to spend expensive shipping returning it..

So after 15 days, TADAAA…!
Another email came… they tried to charge me USD$90 but my card declined, haha. Fuck you, scammers. You trick people into this new tactic and not everyone is fortunate enough to know that there’s a hidden trick right after they order. So now I’m just ignoring them.

So you better be careful when placing order. There are a lot of pills out there with so called ‘testimonial’ on how to lose weight, how to lose belly fat, how to gain weight, how to stay young.. but make sure you either read T&C first, order from a reputable dealer or just go to a pharmacy instead! Don’t buy this so called supplements that’s not even FDA approved.

Okay, talking about diet supplements make me realize how hideously fat I am now.. I want to join a gym because gym has fitness equipment and classes.. so it’s fun. But the thing is I hate going alone. I don’t know which gym is good. I’m considering fitness first or celebrity fitness after my exam and graduation showcase.. I seriously don’t know.

Should I? Should I not?
It’s cheaper to exercise at home and eat less, but blergh. Need motivation.

Gosh there are a lot of appetite suppressant in the market, but which one really works?
Are they healthy? Are they with side effects?
Staying thin or wanting to be thin is hard work. I wish I’m like those people with high metabolism, no matter how much they eat, they not only not gain any weight, but they still LOSE weight.. :\

Anyways.. I ALWAYS get spammed on msn by those who are quite stupid enough to click virus link until they get the virus, and spam other people. The most popular spam I get is the ‘acai berry’ spam, and it’s quite popular. Is spamming a good way to promote a product? For me, if a product is ‘advertised’ using the method of spamming and trojan links, that’s BAD company. STAY AWAY.

I’ll write a similar company but with anti-aging pills instead that is scamming people.

In Malaysia, we have SPM.
In the US, they have SAT.

I’ve never taken or even looked at how SAT is done, so I don’t know. But to me, from tv, it seems that SAT is much harder than our SPM. Of course, in the US, everything is easy. You can buy groceries online, you can literally anything on the internet without having to get ready, drive, get stuck in traffic, shop in crowded area and then drive back etc

Well it’s almost the same with learning. You can actually learn SAT. Knewton offers LSAT prep online, and much cheaper compared to Princeton and others. It’s a good way to prep yourself at the comfort of your own home. I wish we had that before during my SPM. There was but it can be considered a ‘beta stage’ and beside, my net was the expensive dial up..omg how did I survive with dial up………

I just typed a shitload of stuff to test blogging from dsi and I accidentally clicked cancel. FML

If you are by any chance looking for insurance quotes, you can get it from the website. I’ve already mentioned quite a few times before that insurance is important.. well to some it may not be, but in some situations, it’s vital to have insurance.

I had to work yesterday.

I did a little bit of editing.. not satisfied with it, but I had like 3 hours to edit before my boss left for Japan, so that was what I could do. I was sleepy as hell too. But after my boss left,  I stayed there and the Indonesian helper bought me rice so we stayed there and just talk until 6 pm. It’s good to talk to someone about your problem and me and him shared the same problem which is we listen to people’s problem but no one to listen to our problem. I’m used to that now because I tried talking to someone before but just after I told that person something, they twist it, turn it around and then it’s back to me listening to their problems again. They always do that. Hey it’s not like you’re the only one with problem.

I so need to lose fat. I’ve tried to diet but blergh, I get depressed, I eat. It’s a very bad habit but lately I haven’t been eating that much as I used to when I’m depressed or lonely. By the way, speaking of diet, I have to write about this scam that I was unfortunately to be involved with unintentionally. But I’ll write it in a new post a bit later because right now I feel like playing my Nintendo DSi. Cooking Mama 3 is out!

Have you ever gone to a hospital, a suddenly you get wrongly diagnosed or wrong medication? Or maybe that nurse gave you wrong dosage of medication or maybe poked you too hard with the needle?

This is not something new, right? Sometimes we’d hear about this malpractices in hospital. You go to hospital when you’re sick hoping to get better. I’ve heard cases where because of a doctor’s malpractice, an unfortunate patient died. I certainly don’t want this to happy to me or to my family. I’ve also heard cases where after surgery they found maybe.. cottons or something left inside of you. I think I saw this in Oprah before. That’s scary.

Now, what you should do in a case of doctor’s malpractice when it happen to you or your family? Get a lawyer and sue the damn hospital. Like for example, if you live in NY you can get this Bronx medical malpractice lawyer. I have unfortunately had a doctor made a botched surgery on my face, leaving a hideous scar but unfortunately I can’t afford a lawyer to sue. :\

Bought it last Wednesday (Oct 7th 2009). Been a tough week to research, survey and deciding. I finally decided last minute that I wanted the pink NDSi because it actually look damn good in real rather than the picture. I’ve surveyed Low Yat and Sungei Wang so many times.. I found out that some Sg. Wang sellers are dumb stupid and they want to argue with me with the fact that firmware update 1.4 will block all flashcards, Japanese console is way cheaper (RM580-ish) and they also have the very expensive package (RM1100+). I wanted to buy from this woman at Low Yat for RM800 but she didn’t carry pink NDSi.

So at last, I decided to buy from this guy that i found at Low Yat forum. It’s extremely risky since this is my first deal from someone who doesn’t have a store, and anything could happen. However he is the only one offering Acekard 2i instead of fricken R4i and its clones. The deal price was RM775, but suddenly during that day he said price went up so I’d have to pay RM790 instead which is sooooorta true cuz pink color just launched, the price is still higher than the black one. Oh well. It’s still cheaper than other stores. And cheaper than getting it from Play Asia or something. At least he let me keep the original US charger.. I hate the fact that most stores open up the box, and exchange the charger with a cheap universal charger that’s compatible with Malaysia.

So far I’m loving my NDSi. I fucked up the screen protector though so I bought a new original HORI from Play Asia. Still haven’t arrived yet. I love the camera even though it’s very low quality but I’ve been having fun with it.. love the flipnote application which allows you to do flipbook animation. This would’ve come in handy when I had to do my flipbook animation :\ And if you have wifi connected, it’s like youtube for DSi where you can view animations and download them or comment them. Whatever you write for comment on your DSi will appear on the Flipnote Hatena site. Wanna see some of the comments I’ve made?

No regret. NDSi is better than DS Lite. I seriously hope I won’t lose this one as I’m officially broke and have no more money to replace it. Beside, I’m also saving for PC Fair in December to buy portable HDD 500 GB. It was extremely troublesome that when I went back to Ipoh for Eid break that I had to bring my big external HDD because my portable one died.

Anyways, I don’t know what to think anymore of Malaysia. When I went to Low Yat, there’s A LOT of stores that sells laptops, netbooks, accessories that aren’t MALAYSIAN and by this I mean Bangladesh people.. wtf. They no longer work those low class jobs, they now are entrepreneurs in Malaysia and educated…soon, they’ll conquer businesses in Malaysia and leave Malaysians out of job while they monopolize the industry. There’s way too many foreigners here now. Ain’t that awesome?

Goddamnit.

I want to save whatever shreds of dignity I have left. I feel like a beggar on the street. Why can’t we just graduate normally? Why do we have to do showcase? Why do we have to ask for sponsors? I feel so low right now, and I think I’ve hit rock bottom. I feel like I’m begging on the street asking money from people because if I don’t, everything is coming out of our own pocket. Excuse me, but unlike others I am not rich. I do not know rich people either. I’ve tried so hard trying to find sponsors but I get rejected because no, they do not sponsor students… unless you know inside people that could help seal the deal.

And it’s even more stupid that each of us has to get at least minimum Rm800. Why can’t the huge damn college sponsor us, at least half of our budget since they like to rip people off?
