Hmmm Esther has not messaged me yet so I’m really hoping we don’t have to shoot the ending so I can work on my cutout. I’ve got email from Mr Eddie about next week’s final presentation…briefing on Moday, rehearsal Thursday morning, final presentation on Friday. Videography should be on Monday… and the re-cut trailer should be on Thursday… scary. Last class would be next Saturday than I’m stress free for a while!

Anyways, gonna talk something that might be useful. You know how when people have something going on, especially for example if you’re selling a house, you need to signs saying “FOR SALE” right? Even normal signs like no smoking, exit here…no parking etc etc those are custom signs you can made. There’s this place called buildasign.com where you can make your own custom signs, Real Estate Yard Signs, and much more. It’s useful if you need to let people know something like a warning sign or that you have a house for rent or sale and stuff like that.

Speaking of house for sale.. omg I wish I could move out to a house. I HATE this apartment. I HATE the people here. I HATE the environment. I HATE the carpark. I HATE everything here. Except that it’s very close to the malls and shops…that I don’t hate lol

It’s 4.33 am, I have class at 9 am, plus shooting some extra scenes today. Esther called me at like 3 am in the morning asking me about this clip she’s looking for. Come to think about it, even though she screamed and insulted me that day, can’t help but feel sorry for her if she’s editing until late at night. But seriously, she asked me to edit before… one thing is that I’m not used to imac. She has an ibook so she knows the features of a mac system. Second thing is that I”m not familiar at all with Final Cut Pro, and I’ve tried editing and I suck at it. I’d need time to play around and get used to it when she looks like she’s more familiar with it so for her to argue that she can’t ask the rest of group members to help (when Roshan the director is the one supposed to be present during editing) is completely absurd. I don’t know shit too and I’d need to learn too… just like the rest. Makes no difference. I’m more familiar with basic editing for n00bs. Even Mr Eddie kinda scoffed at my lack of knowledge of Final Cut Pro… ummmm I’ve been using the very basic editor with very simple and easy interface… hello? Can’t be compared to a pro software!

I’m just wondering, some other groups have finished editing and their dp reel is looking totally fucking awesome with effects and stuff… and don’t think they took ages to do it like our group… o.O

Anyways. even though all this is giving me stress, I still think it’s much better than having to read piles of books on economics, business, maths… eurgh. Mom keep saying that I chose this path, I’m gonna be working triple times harder than a business woman.. so let it be. I can’t stand things that I’m not interested in. I am however still gonna continue studying business after this like a part time or something. Who knows I might change my mind.

I’ve finished my recut trailer :) I just need Aaron’s voice, do one last trim and then I’m done. Now I need to concentrate on my cut-out animation.

Today I’m feeling a bit okay. Just a little bit okay, emotionally. The thing is YOU-KNOW-WHO was acting like nothing happened between us. She even smiled, laughed, joked with me… so I could only ask myself - WTF is wrong with her? She thinks she can just one minute screamed at me and insult me and the next minute be friends and happy as if nothing happened? Oh the hurt is still there.. but it’s ok. I’ll just play along. I’ll let karma deal with her shit cuz I can’t stand being a fucked up emotional wrecked anymore. I know it’s affecting people around me, especially my baby Aaron :( Sorry baby.

Today I received a bad news from my uncle. Just when I was about to go to class, he called and told us that our house in Ipoh (my hometown) has been broken into….

I’m shocked. Surprised. Angry. Hurt.

Today was supposed to be my mock assessment but I couldn’t concentrate much. After class, I rushed back home, relaxed a little then drove back to my hometown which took 3-4 hours or so because of the heavy rain. Lightning strikes were basically in front and at the sides of my car. It was extremely scary.

I reached Ipoh, went to see my uncle and we went to my house. It was…fucked. Everything was trashed. I saw my Sony DVD player was gone but uncle told me he found something in a bag and turned out it was the DVD player. Thank god. I guess they forgot that. My biggest fear was my comps. My fear came true. They took one of my early PCs…but that one is barely usable because it’s old…but THANK THE ALMIGHTY GOD my other pc which has all of my precious data is there! They must have missed it or thought it’s useless cuz I kept it at the store room. I was so relieved. However, my RM1000 (USD$316) LCD monitor.. my precious is gone. I felt like crying. They also took one of my precious pretty butterfly sofabed (that I use for sleeping)’s cushion cover so now it’s ruined.. I guess they used it for covering my pc. I now have no place to sleepy. My pretty sofabed is no longer pretty. It’s all torn up too.

Then all of the copper deco stuff like flower vase, family heirloom, many many many things were stolen. Mom estimated the cost to be more than RM4000 (USD$1266). So after that we went to the police station, sat there for hours to make the report, then went back home and waited for the investigators to take pictures then we went to search for hotel room. There’s no way I’m sleeping there.

Found a couple of places but no luck and finally found Grandview Hotel (cheap one of course - RM75-ish, around USD$23). It’s an ok hotel. Better than sleeping in the dirty house, or at my snobby aunt’s house or retarded cousin’s house. The room is ok for me and mom, has tv with 5 cable channels, hot shower, aircond. However, the customer rep wasn’t as cheerful lol.. no remote for tv OR aircond so I’m freezing cold cuz I can’t turn it off.. no shampoo.. no plug point for my lappy near the bed and one bulb isn’t working. However there’s wireless internet! :) Hence why I can be on now with my lappy.

Blah I feel so upset and so…blah. My house has been violated by fucking strangers. Curse them. Fucking die you piece of horse shit! If I catch you, I’ll skin your ass raw, bbq you and feed you to the hyenas! FUCKING BURN IN FUCKING HELL YOU MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLES.

One thing I learned is that, my house doesn’t have insurance. Actually my mom never cared anything about insurance. Not even life insurance. I was freaking out at mom because insurance is important. If anything happens to you or your properties, at least you have insurance. It’s very important people. So if you don’t have insurance for your life especially, go get your life insurance quotes now.

Now I”m stressed about my school projects. ARRRRRRRRRGH *pulls hair*

I’m writing a new post. lol. Because I can do so. Because I want to. And because it’s 5 am, I have stomach cramps, I dealt with my ex tonight and I feel like doing 3 blogs tonight about things that are completely random…got a prob with that??? Anyways. I’ve been busy with my group project. We finished it tonight so tomorrow we’ll edit and see what needs fixing. I seriously hope that we don’t need to reshoot anything again because I’m sick of being out until 2 am reshooting scenes! Glad there’s no script or we’d need a closed captioning service like what I needed for last semester. I’ve mentioned about that service before. Anyways… something totally random blog coming up in the next minute!

Argh I’ve been so frigging busy this week that I don’t have time to do anything. Argh! This pisses me off. I so need a time off. And I heard that we won’t even get any break… I hope that’s not true. I so need a vacation. You know… I used to hear from my friends that they have vacation house and they’d go on a vacation with family and stuff… how lucky! Not only I don’t have a vacation house, I don’t even go on a vacation lol. If I’m somewhere where there’s snow.. I’d reserve some kind of house at Winter Park real estate with someone I love and enjoy the warmth of each other… cuddling… then day time go skiing or play with snow or something.. that’d be so much fun! I think… lol

If you haven’t heard about Sufiah Yusof, do google for more information. Basic stuff - Sufiah Yusof is a math genius. She used to make headlines in Malaysian newspaper when I was about 13 when she entered Oxford University. Her father is a Pakistani (who is well…bad with criminal records) and her mother is a Malaysian. She used to have this sweet, innocent, naive look on her. I’ve read about her running away from house when she was 15 to get away from the pressure of her family especially her father, but after that she really got into Islam. She married Jonathan Marshall who converted into Islam…but unfortunately her marriage ended a year later. Her ex said that the reason for their separation is because he’s more into Islam and she’s more growing out of the religion and she’s confused. She’s not heard until….

….News of the World UK sent an undercover report thus revealing that she is now working as a prostitute/escort for roughly £130 per hour (that’s almost $900 malaysian ringgit!) I’ve known all along that a genius like Sufiah is not *that* stupid as people think she is. She did not sink this low to ’survive’. She could have done a lot of things because she’s a genius. She could be living large right now if she uses her brain. But did it ever occur to you that she’s into prostitution not because to survive, but it’s the path she has chosen? Come on, she’s a MATH genius.. she’s already calculated all the money she’d get lol…

The recent news from NOTW has revealed her confession (as in the video too) that she clearly chose this ‘profession’ as her career. She clearly enjoys living in the dirty fab world of prostitution. Getting the money.. getting the stuff.. and most importantly getting all the sex she wants o.O; Here’s my two cents on it. Why are people making such a big fuss? She’s an adult now, and she’s free to do whatever she wants to - it’s her life. Why is the Malaysian government thinking of sending help to her? Let her be. It’s her life. If it’s something she enjoys, you wouldn’t be able to stop her until she realizes it herself that it’s wrong and sinful (especially since she’s a muslim) Hopefully she’s not doing drugs too or she’s need to be sent somewhere to get drug treatment. Now to Sufiah… hope you would realize this is wrong, not a glamourous or honourable profession and go back to the right path. How could a devoted muslim like you turn into something like this? Think of the future girl, not now… now you think you’re living faboulously, you’ll regret it in the future. You’ve already damaged your reputation, don’t damage your health and future.

Just my two cents. It’s just sad a genius could sink this low. It’s sad too that her father is such an abuser and a molester lol.

Woohooooo I’ve finally upgraded to wordpress 2.5. I was skeptical a bit at first because it might not be as stable yet, but so far I’m loving the clean interface, though might take me quite a while to get used to, and excited to try the embedding media XD Also they say I can upload multiple pictures, so it’s gonna be hella easy for me to upload pics now.. since I usually upload more than 20 pics for my posts lol.

Anyways, I have lots of long blogs coming. This is just a short blog to talk about dog boxes. I’ve been so busy lately that I’ve been unable to blog what I’ve been wanting to blog about. LAter today when I’m free, I’ll blog again. Now.. in my post before, I’ve talked about bed liner or something for those who own trucks right? Now for those who own trucks AND dogs, you can check out aluminum dog boxes if you carry your dogs around in your truck. Too bad I don’t have a truck.. if not I could put my kitties there when I go back to Ipoh. They’re getting too big for their small cages and my my car is too small for two cages :( It’s always a pain to take them back to Ipoh then back to KL.
