I am absolutely in love with ACDSee Pro 2 now… it makes my life so much easier. I never knew it could do batch formating for a lot of pictures plus editing images and putting watermarks or text overlays. Now it’ll be easier for me to resize pics and put text overlays on my blog pics without having to open photoshop. YAY.

I might make a couple of blogs today depending on my mood. So many things to blog about, so many pics to post…so little time lol. I’m so sleepy. I woke up at almost 5 am because my kitty wouldn’t shut up. It’s been like more than a week or two now that he has been screaming his lungs out. Making me crazy..prolly the neighbors too. Today I’m gonna blog about my classes.

Last Thursday was my first History of TV & Film class taught by Mr Eddie. Since it was just our first class, so we had nothing to do. Esther decided to switch to our course now from Advertising design if I’m not mistaken? Anyway… the first thing we did was to check all the new equipments in the editing suite.So let’s start with the photo story!

Here’s Mr Eddie unpacking the boxes so we could see all the equipments. The room is small though.. and has no aircond, ack. So it was very hot. Hopefully they’ll do something about it because no way we’re gonna sit in there sweating our ass off while editing film, lol. There’s an aircond outside though of the room though (it’s a combined room).

Here’s Ito with… what’s his name? Rashman or summin? lol. I have bad memory, forgive me. He’s new lol. They were checking the video camera.

Today had been a rough day for me. I was supposed to be attending the student leader meeting but I couldn’t go. I had personal problems. You know, I really don’t get it with some people and how they let their anger take control of them until they turn into this monster that scares the living hell out of everyone who cares. Another thing I hate is being judged. If you don’t know me, or have never met me, stop judging me. You don’t know shit about me, how I act, how I handle things, so stop telling me what to do. I know what I’m doing and I don’t need anyone telling me what THEY want me to do.

But even though today has been bad for me, there is one good thing though. Today is my payday :D I got almost $50 bucks. lol. I know, it’s not much compared to what YOU would get monthly :P I need something like payday loans so whenever I need extra money I could get it instantly because I don’t get paid much. Plus since now you can apply for it online so you can get approved easily and instantly without even leaving the house. Ahhh the wonders of internet… no more paperworks or stuff like that. Unfortunately, I don’t have a steady monthly income. Heck, I”m not even working yet, lol. Hehe oh well. I’m saving money to get an external hard disk so I can save my stuff on the comp and lappy there. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way when the comp technician claimed ‘virus’ attacked my comp and I lost everything.. all of my precious stuff. Also, when I go back to Ipoh, I could still have my files with me…like gigs of mp3’s…. school works… pictures…porns….ok joking on the porns…really… I am…

I got my xmas pressie that Aaron sent from Canada yesterday! YAY! I was SO WORRIED the postman would be dumb enough to just put the package on the post box (cuz I live in an apartment) and leave it there O.o But thank goodness they left a card for me to pickup the package at the post office. I’m happy!

Haha. Unfortunately this is just a teaser blog :P Because I’m supposed to be sleeping right now… effing cat woke up in the middle of the night. I’ll blog a long-ass post tomorrow with loads of pictures! Yay. You like pictures, don’t you? Bitch, I know you do :D Hehehehehe! Nighty Nite

Look at her. Damn. LOL. Like in the “Date Movie” where Julia Jones is writing in her diary and it says “Alcohol Status - Tara Reid Level” or something like that.. if your alcohol status is like that…GET HELP. lol. Personally I don’t see why you gotta chug down so much alcohol. It’s only gonna damage your health. Like Britney, Lindsay… they all have problems with alcohols. If you do too, then you need some alcohol rehab before it gets serious. Cliffside Malibu is a good place to start.. I checked the site and saw the photos..like damn man… high class, top facilities.. seriously…if Malaysia’s rehab center it wouldn’t be like that if we had one … or is that why people like rehab so much O.o? They keep going in and out… because the place is damn cozy, and so nice if feels like a getaway place? Someone should build a torture facility for drug and alcohol addicts..beat the hell out of them..that’s when you can really get them out of the addiction, mwahaha. Sorry I’m in a weird mood today… LOL

Tonight I got scary emails from my hosting company - my hosting is overdue by $218.90 (!!!!!!!) What the hell? Ok, first thing, my payment is not due until my birthday which is February 25th, and second thing it’s due for only $119.40. I was seriously freaked! I was also freaking out that it would charge Aaron’s card because he helped me pay for my domain last November…and even though I didn’t select autobilling thing, you never know… There were a lot of pissed off customers in the blog… what pissed me off badly is that there was no email, no nothing except for one lousy blog stating something’s wrong. It took us hours to see a single blog update and many pissed off clients were threatening to sue…and some already closed their account and left. I could understand what they did that though….there were some that was charged up until $10,000! (!!!!! YIKES!) It was like triple charge per hosting for payment in 2009 O.o Hello, it’s still early 2008..!

To quote from their latest blog:

“We had a teensy eensy weensy little billing error last night… my first clue something was up when I saw this morning’s daily billing report (so far): $7,500,000.”

So what were they thinking? They prolly lost a lot of customers over that mishap. Was that person in charge on drugs? If he was then he needs a serious drug rehabilitation then for pulling off something major like that..They’re currently refunding money for those charged but seriously, their reputation is dented. Personally, I’ve never had problems with Dreamhost unlike others…maybe slow server or something like that but other than that, nothing major. But blah, never do this major scare again..! I’m still phobia with hosting service…I had a bad experience with my first web hosting company endore.com who suddenly went bankrupt and I lost EVERYTHING on their server. Blah.

Now I’m gonna get some shut eye…It’s almost 3 am and I have class in the morning. My car better not make troubles again.. Oh and I hope what’s waiting for me in the post office would be my pressie from Aaron! :D That would really make my day. I’ll check it out after class tomorrow.

Shoot me. My car wouldn’t start at all, the battery is dead and I missed a class. There’s nothing worst than missing a class when I’m not extremely sick.

Woot another blog. I think I have insomnia or something, I can’t sleep at night anymore. My sleeping patter is completely fucked. I should be sleeping cuz I have class in the morning at 9 am. Videography… ahhh… you know, I thought we wouldn’t have to make video again this sem.. it was so stressful last semester… but I think this sem, we’d be doing it in group so I think should be okay. I hope. Or prolly more stress. I was watching my old video that I made for sem 1.. Ms Jenny commented that the subtitle was too big. I can’t help it if the program is like that :( Any smaller font, you won’t be able to read. Maybe I should have gotten a professional subtitle service….that should make my job a lot easier, lol. Or have them translate my video into 30 different language… haha. That should be interesting… to see my future movie in different languages…woot

Yesterday class was blah. It was just and intro class so it was nothing lol. I woke up at 8.30am, class starts at 9 am but I reached there at 9.20 am. Met Sherra at the parking lot and we went up together…it was tiring cuz the doors were locked lol. We found the class at 9.30 am and when she tried to open it, it was locked O.o So she said fuck it, let’s go eat breakfast. LOL. I didn’t want to miss class even if it was just intro class because I rushed like mad to attend the class, I must at least go in. I tried convincing her to wait lol. I messaged Dura and she said the doors weren’t locked so we tried the other door and it wasn’t locked, haha. So we waited… and he dimissed the class at 9.50am-ish instead of 12 pm….gah. lol. So we spent couple of hours talking in the cafeteria..with me, Sherra and Dura and ate breakfast. Gossiping. LOL.

Later evening I found asian horror movies in youtube and I watched a couple. Here’s my first movie review - JANGAN PANDANG BELAKANG (Don’t look back) **SPOILER ALERT**

JPB is one of the most popular movie in the horror genre in Malaysia after PONTIANAK HARUM SUNDAL MALAM. This overly hyped movie gained millions because people claim it is the best horror movie in Malaysia to date and it’s oh-so-freaking-scary. Frankly, I have no faith at all in Malaysian horror movies. They suck, and the rules are strict. It can not be against the Islamic believe whatsoever…used to have the rules where the ending HAS to be a dream..it was all just a dream. Bullshit. LOL. I guess they are lenient on that now.

What I think about the movie? It was not bad, but it was not good either. I like Pierre Andre, the main character because he’s kinda cute BUT he talks too fast in the movie, I could barely understand him. Intan Ladyana (supporting lead) ..gosh. She tried so hard. Dubbing is HORRID as usual with EVERY malaysian movie. The storyline..well eh…seen it before. POSSESSION. The ending? Totally disappointing. It’s a horror movie, but no blood, no gore…no brutal-ness. I felt hanging at the end because there’s no actual story as to where the ghost came from, what it does etc.

The good thing is that, the effect. To compare with all other Malaysian movies, this is the best. There are very few movies with good effects. The makeup for the ghosts are so good. They look real and creepy unlike any other Malaysian horror movies. It managed to creep me out for a few seconds out of the entire movie. Other than that, I was not, repeat, NOT scared at all. To me, it was just a boring mystery drama than a ‘horror’ movie. It takes a lot to scare me. It’s also annoying that EVERYTIME there’s a ghost appearing behind the actor, he turns around and it poofs. It gets really annoying if it keeps repeating like that.

Well good job to Ahmad Idham though for directing this movie as it didn’t turn out shitty like all other Malaysian director’s attempt at horror movie. Like Zombie Kampung Pisang? OMG what was that??? It was the stupidest movie ever with the stupidest zombie makeup. It was so lame, I rather be shot.

Onto something totally different, if you have any used car that you don’t use anymore, you can do something good by doing a car donation to Car Angel. Car Angel (www.carangel.com) is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens. They have given away over 2.4 million videos. Money raised is used to make the videos. I think you can also donate boats, or some other kind of vehicles. The site isn’t working for me so I can’t really check it our what it’s all about, but I saw they have youtube address at http://youtube.com/user/boatangel

This is the first time I heard that you can donate cars and boats and other vehicles for charity. I think it’s a clever idea. So if you would like to help, you can visit the site and donate any old vehicles you don’t need and use anymore. It’s for a good cause..better than wasting it and throwing it away ^_^
