Sleepless night

Argh omg. It’s been so hot here lately. I think it’s around 31 or 32 ‘c everyday. And with laptop and main comp on in my small room 24/7, it doubles the heat. I so need an aircond now. Blah. Today H sms’d me with news that my house in my hometown has been flooded badly. I’m praying that the water didn’t flood inside of the house but he said it looked pretty bad outside… it was knee-length deep outside of the gate. His house was flooded bad too. I seriously, SERIOUSLY hope inside of the house isn’t affected because next week I”m going back home for Chinese New Year holiday :( My mom called my uncle but he didn’t pick up. Want him to check on the house.

Urgh it’s 3.30 am. I fell asleep early at 10-ish or 11-ish but fucking cat woke me up at 1 am yet AGAIN! I seriously can’t get any sleep if he won’t keep his fucking mouth closed. He was never like this but lately he couldn’t stop meowing out loud. Makes me feel like hitting my head with a baseball bat. If I keep this on, my face would sag so bad, I’d need some facelifts to prevent from looking like a living wrinkly corpse.

So what I”m gonna do now is practice some drawing that I should have done 2 weeks ago, LOL..I think Mr Eddie wants to see it in class today… while I”m doing that I’m going to watch a movie. I’ll watch it on the laptop because I can’t see the tv from when I am now..it’s too low. I need a tv lift cabinet so the tv would be higher and I can watch tv while I’m on the lappy on my bed. I also need a bigger tv, LOL. I miss my tv in my hometown :(

Oh I finished downloading Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (a DVD rip)..yay! I love that movie :D It’s so fucking hilarious even though stupid, LOL. Kal Penn is so hot. I heard they’ve done a new movie – Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Yay, can’t wait to see that! Said to be released this April..I so wanna see.

Create Your Own Logo & Business Card

Are you guys in a business? If you are, I’m sure you know about needing business cards to promote your company or to give out your contact to your clients, right? There’s this site where you can do logo design and create a business card! On the site there is a live demo that you can try on before buying the real thing…it’s fun! I was playing around with it and it’s so easy to do :D The wizard thing is so simple and easy and fun, and you can have this cute logo at the end :D Let me tell you how to do it:

How to create your own logo:

Step 1: When you first click the free demo on the main site, it’ll take you to the logo creator. First you have to choose the type of image. There are 3 types: Hi-tech, Bold & Flair. I chose Flair because it looks funky and since I’m an art student, it looks creative and suitable for my creative arts work ;)

Step 2: Next is to choose your industry. Let’s say I have a opened up a design company…so I chose arts & entertainment as my industry

Step 3: Choosing a picture for your logo. I chose butterfly cuz butterfly is so cute! There’s LOADS of other clip art type of image you can choose from for your logo :D

Step 4: Now it’s time to add words to your logo! I’ll name my company ‘7th Angel Design‘ ;)

Step 5: Customizing your logo! You can move around the text or image…make them big, make them small… put them to the left or right…it’s up to your creativity!

Step 6: TADA!!! Voila, your logo is ready! Here’s what mine looks like!

After that you can proceed on buying the logo you’ve just created, or you can put it on business card and have them made for you with your logo on :D Here’s what MY business card would look like with my logo that I just created on it.

Cool huh? Of course you can customize everything like the colors, the fonts etc and it’s quick to do it too (took me only like 5 mins). For your business cards, you can choose from a lot of designs to your liking and match it with the logo. The quality is very good too, since with the editor you can easily create the design to your liking. So if you ever need business cards made, go to logoyes.com. Thought I’d share this. I’ve been too addicted to this song by Soulja Boy – Crank Dat…and I found this Travis Barker remix not long ago and omg, it’s so fucking hot. Today I found the video of Travis playing his drum set… fuck, that’s the hottest thing ever. Oh my god. Marry me Travis. Daymn dat man got skillz yo. This is now officially my turn on song, lol.

Camwhoring

Wahhh… today kinda sucked. I was up till 4 am last night to finish my assignment but I don’t think I did ok on it. I think I missed some other important points of mise-en-scene.. and I think I fucked my presentation too .. mrrrfff. Anyways, after class I signed up for photography club since it’s clubs week in college. Haha Helmi’s recruiting all of his friends and doing a great job..I see names that I never thought would be interested in photography signed up lol

Last Saturday was blahhh. I went to class in the morning and I was late lol. But luckily Sherra arrived exactly when I arrived so it wasn’t awkward to enter alone lol. So in photography – studio & lighting class, we were learning about more stuff on lightings and we watched demos… I think I was partially blinded for half the day from looking at the flashes directly LOL.

It was boring, lol. And since I didn’t get much sleep, I was soooo sleepy…Good thing was that I brought my laptop with me so we could play around after class…and got into picwhoring mode with the webcam!

Me, Dura, Sherra, Kathy, Nesh took a bunch more pics but I’m not gonna post them all. Besides, I look like shit in all of them, lol. I need sleep. Then after class, I took mom to Tesco. OMG remind me to never go to Tesco with my mom.. First we ate lunch which was yummy :D But damn, mom is always so slow with the shopping….luckily we could get parking as soon as we arrived because it was a Saturday, so waaaaaaay too many people. Too crowded. The best thing was… mom let me take whatever I want, LOL. So I was in a happy mood lol. I think we spent like almost RM300 and most of them were my junks lol. We got home at like 6 pm-ish O.o We totally lost the track of time.. lol. I don’t wear watch so I wouldn’t know the time and such. I used to wear this Harry potter watch that lights up but it’s all worn out and broken now :( Maybe I should get a used Rolex next time so I can tell time in style, lol.

I bought this extension cord so when I got home and plugged it in, then my whole apartment went POOF! I think there was a short circuit or something …I hate when circuit breaker does that.. it freaks me out when the whole house’s electricty goes KAPOOF. What worries me the most is my comps. So have to return it to Tesco tomorrow, blah.

Mise-En-Scene

I feel like doing a short blog now. I’m really worried about my sleeping pattern. It’s completely fucked. I would usually go to bed at 5 or 6 am and I would wake up at 8 am for class. And I don’t know if the fucked sleeping pattern is affecting me or not because for the past 2 weeks, I nearly crashed more than 5 cars. I bumped into one too. So now I’m worried about my driving too, blah.

I have an assignment due this Monday for my Videography class. I have to write on Mise-en-Scene/Cinematography on a film of my choice. I wanted “Elephant” by Gus Van Sant at first.. first seriously..that movie bores me to no end. I’m still pissed about the end. Cinematography is pretty though. My 2nd choice is “The Count of Monte Cristo“… it’s one of my all time favorite movies. :D Fucking pirated movies not working on this laptop. I can’t watch the DVD on this laptop. It works on my DVD player though. 3rd choice of mine is yet another all-time favorite movie of mine, “Interview with the Vampire“… you know, I think IWTV would be good…I love that movie to death. Hmm we’ll see.

It’s so fucking hot here, it’s not funny. That’s why I always hate afternoon class. When I go down to my car, I think you can put an egg on the car and it’ll be fried/cooked in a minute. It’s BLAZING HOT. But sometimes in the evening, there’ll be a friggin thunderstorm with lightning that scares the hell out of you. Mom told me not to be in my room as it’s boiling hot and to sit in the hall/living room. Ok, FYI, my hall/living room is EMPTY. If I could get it remodeled like at directbuy then shit, I would never want to leave this apartment! I need aircond in this room…before I die from this heat.

Oh I had Student Leader meeting today. Eh.. looks like they have quite a few things planned. Me, Esther and Juwinn will be in charged of eating competition for Valentine’s Day. We’ll see how it turns out.

Ok, gonna concentrate on the movie now… I’m watching Interview with the Vampire. Gotta love Lestat :D
