History of Art group project

Posted by: Tany   in College, Daily Life, Food, Photos

Right now I feel like making a short blog entry. Yesterday I was so damn tired that I slept so early like starting from 9-ish till almost 10 am this morning. lol. I’m losing energy these days. I need vitamins. Plus my back is still fucked I think. But not as bad as couple of days ago….I think.

On Wednesday, it was our history of art group project assignment due day. Well some didn’t even pass it up. Blah. For my group, we got it done. Hehe. I’ve posted some pictures of the thing that we made in the previous blog so here’s the outcome..

TADAAAAA…. here’s our mask. Ren did all the ribbon sewing and the mask itself so she did a good job. Hehe I’m proud of our group project, not some crappy thing…at least it shows like we put effort into it and thoughts.

Here are some of the other group projects.

mask2.jpg

This is from Jackie’s group. Last minute work I heard he said lol. It sorta like a godzilla thing.. or he said from ‘War of the Worlds’…er if that’s the Tom Cruise movie.. hehe looks to me like a spider-looking machine attacking the city hehe. Looks cool but if you see the windows of the building, it looks like they were rushing to finish it.

mask3.jpg

The basket from one group and the piano from another group. I like the basket except it looks too simple to me. And plain. They should add stuff in it… decorate it. The piano is too simple too. But the cool thing is that when they open the top, music plays XD You know like the one in greeting cards. I forgot how to do that..we learned it in high school right?

mask4.jpg

This one looks ok… a white city/castle… but it’s too white so it looks way too plain to me. The details look good but like Mr. Nicsson said, if you’re using white, you tend to get smudges, dirt/dust and fingerprints on it which looks dirty.

mask6.jpg

Oh i love this one. Cross-stitch or something? It looks damn nice…plus there’s a chinese words at the left side which you can’t see.

mask7.jpg

This one looks good to me, tho Mr Nicsson said it looks a bit plain. It looks simple. I think they said last minute work? Not sure. lol.

mask8.jpg

That vase is damn good. I love that one. The girl said it tells a story too… you see the drawing? Sorta like an ancient egyptian writing/drawing. Something about harvest can’t remember lol. But it looks good… like something ancient they dug up hehe.

mask9.jpg

The yellow vase thing is from Nesh’s group. They’re not finished yet though. My first impression? A genie bottle lol.

We did presentation rehearsal on that day too. I did all the powerpoint.. we are the 4th group so the first 3 was a bit blah. lol. Their slides was either plain, too colorful or too much info. I know what to do and what not to do during Olympia college. So everything I did was ok…my group members were clueless x.x We didn’t practise so they weren’t prepared. Farah was totally blah. lol. Her last line was supposed to be ‘…for her to be admitted to an asylum’… but she didn’t know how to pronounce it and said ‘…for her to be admitted and whateverrrrrr’ lol. I didn’t even get to read but to just show the slides. Mr. Nicsson said it was very good :D Hehe.

Then after class, we saw Shakey’s Pizza at the lobby so yeahhhh we bought pizza. I shared the regular size with Sherra because the personal size is sold out.

Hawaiian chicken :D However, out of all pizza, I prefer dominos. They have better yummier pizza, no? :P Went to cafe and ate there.

mask12.jpg

And I bought myself a personal size beef pepperoni pizza :D Again, dominos is better because of the thin, cheese slice :D *drools*  After that, I sent Farah to a nearby shop to buy Ferrero Rocher chocs for her ahem…. not-yet-declared-bf lol. Ok I need to shower now then do school work.
